Dear Parents and Adults!
Please read the instructions together with your
child before starting and review the safety
information with them. Stand by to assist your
child in any particularly challenging parts of
assembly or usage.
Do not let the robot model climb so high up a
vertical surface that it goes out of reach. Prevent
the robot from falling onto people or objects that
might be damaged by it.
We hope you and your child have a lot of fun with
the Nexo climbing robot!
WARNING. Not suitable for
children under 3 years.
Choking hazard — small parts
may be swallowed or inhaled.
Strangulation hazard — long
tubes may become wrapped
around the neck.
Keep the packaging and
instructions as they contain
important information.
Store the experiment material,
particularly the battery-
powered motor, and assembled
models out of the reach of
small children.
››› To operate the models, you will
need two AA batteries (1.5-volt,
type LR6), which could not be
included in the kit due to their
limited shelf life.
››› Different types of batteries or
new and used batteries are not
to be mixed.
››› Do not mix old and new
batteries.
››› Do not mix alkaline, standard
(carbon-zinc), or rechargeable
(nickel-cadmium) batteries.
››› Batteries are to be inserted
with the correct polarity.
Press them gently into the
battery compartments.
››› Always close battery
compartments with the lid.
››› Non-rechargeable batteries are
not to be recharged. They could
explode!
››› Rechargeable batteries are
only to be charged under adult
supervision.
››› Rechargeable batteries are to
be removed from the toy before
being charged.
››› Exhausted batteries are to be
removed from the toy.
››› The supply terminals are not
to be short-circuited.
››› Avoid a short circuit of the
batteries. A short circuit can
cause the wires to overheat
and the batteries to explode.
››› Dispose of used batteries in
accordance with environmental
provisions, not in the household
trash.
››› Be sure not to bring batteries
into contact with coins, keys, or
other metal objects.
››› Avoid deforming the batteries.
As all of the experiments use
batteries, have an adult check
the experiments or models
before use to make sure they
are assembled properly. Always
operate the motorised models
under adult supervision. After
you are done experimenting,
remove the batteries from the
battery compartments.

››› The toy is not to be connected to

Lesen Sie vor dem Aufbau die Anleitung gemein-
sam mit Ihrem Kind durch und besprechen Sie
die Sicherheitshinweise. Stehen Sie Ihrem Kind
bei kniffligen Stellen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite
und begleiten Sie es bei allen Schritten.
Lassen Sie den Roboter am besten nur unter
Aufsicht senkrechte Flächen hochklettern, so
wird verhindert, dass er außer Reichweite
gerät und unkontrolliert abstürzt.

HINWEISE ZU EXPERIMENTEN
MIT BATTERIEN
››› Keine Experimente mit Steckdosen durchführen!
Die 230 Volt des Lichtnetzes sind lebensgefährlich!
››› Zum Betrieb werden zwei 1,5-Volt-Batterie Typ LR6 (AA,
Mignon) benötigt, die wegen ihrer begrenzten Lagerfä-
higkeit nicht im Experimentierkasten enthalten sind.
››› Einen Kurzschluss der Batterie vermeiden.
Kurzschluss kann zum Überhitzen von Leitungen und
zum Explodieren der Batterie führen.
››› Ungleiche Batterietypen (Akku und Batterie) oder
neue und gebrauchte Batterien dürfen nicht zusammen
verwendet werden.
››› Die Batterien mit der richtigen Polarität einlegen und
mit leichtem Druck ins Batteriefach drücken.
››› Nicht wiederaufladbare Batterien dürfen nicht geladen
werden. Sie könnten sonst explodieren!
››› Aufladbare Batterien dürfen nur unter Aufsicht von
Erwachsenen geladen werden.
››› Aufladbare Batterien aus dem Spielzeug herausnehmen,
bevor sie geladen werden.
››› Leere Batterien müssen aus dem Spielzeug heraus-
genommen werden.
››› Verbrauchte Batterien entsprechend den Umwelt-
bestimmungen entsorgen.

Queridos padres:
Antes de empezar a montarlo, lean las
instrucciones con su hijo/a y hablen de

cada paso.
No pierdan de vista el robot mientras trepa
por superficies verticales para evitar que
quede fuera del alcance y caiga de forma
descontrolada.

No adecuado para niños
de menos de 3 años.
Peligro de asxia, ya que
se pueden tragar o aspirar

necesitan dos pilas de 1,5

Assurez-vous que le robot n’escalade des
surfaces verticales que sous surveillance afin
d'éviter qu’il ne soit plus à votre portée et qu’il
tombe malencontreusement.

Ne convient pas aux enfants

ATTENZIONE!
Prodotto non adatto per
bambini di età inferiore ai 3
anni. Pericolo di soffocamento
a causa dei componenti di
piccole dimensioni che possono
essere ingeriti o inalati. Se
stretti attorno al collo, i lunghi
tubi essibili possono causare
il soffocamento. Conservare
la confezione e le istruzioni
poiché contengono informazio-
ni importanti. Con riserva di

››› Non sperimentare con le
prese elettriche! I 230 volt
