K-POD302-1GD Surface Mounting Panel
Congratulations on purchasing your Kramer K-POD302-1GD aSurface Mounting Panel for
1 gang Decora Size Products and Kramer single inserts.
K-POD302-1GD is an on-table modular connectivity panel for boardrooms and conference
rooms. K-POD302-1GD is easy to install, easy to use, and fully customizable with Kramer's
line of power sockets, inserts, and cables. K-POD302-1GD features an innovative carbon
look and fits a variety of Decora™ Size Products (purchased separately). K-POD302-1GD
can be easily fixed in place with just two screws from the top of the table.
Note: K-POD302-1GD inserts and cables are purchased separately.
Step1: Get to know your K-POD302-1GD

Step 2: Disassemble K-POD302-1GD
To disassemble K-POD302-1GD:
1. Remove the 4 screws from the Attachment
Screw Openings at the back of the
Enclosure.
2. As necessary, remove the Blank Inserts
from the Mounting Frame.
Step 3: Mount the K-POD302-1GD onto a surface
To pass the cables under the table, a hole needs to be drilled in the table before mounting
K-POD302-1GD onto the surface.
To pass the cables through the rear opening of the K-POD302-1GD only, skip the first part
of this section.
To drill a hole in the table:
1. Place the K-POD302-1GD on the table
surface and carefully mark the opening
area to fit the opening of the
K-POD302-1GD.
2. Using a standard cup bit drill, with a
diameter of 30mm (1.2”), drill a hole in the
table within the marked area. Clean the
table surface.
Take care not to damage the table. Kramer Electronics is not responsible for
any damage caused to the table.
To attach K-POD302-1GD to the table
surface:
1. Place the K-POD302-1GD on the table. If
cutting a hole in the table, fit the underside
opening to that hole.
2. Pass the 2 table screws (M4x1/2”), supplied
with the K-POD302-1GD, through the Table
Screw Openings and tighten them to fix
the K-POD302-1GD to the table.
Step 4: Attach the Decora Size Product and Inserts to the

Mounting Frame.
A variety of Kramer single inserts can be mounted in
K-POD302-1GD. Go to www.kramerav.com/product/K-POD302-1GD for an
updated list.
To attach a single insert:
1. Connect cables to the back of the Decora Size
Product and inserts.
2. For a Decora Size Product: Position the
Decora Size Product in the Decora opening
from behind the Mounting Frame. Pass the 2
screws (supplied) through the back of the
Decora Size Product openings, then tighten.
3. For a Kramer insert: Position the insert in the
insert opening from the front of the Mounting
Frame. Pass the 2 screws (supplied) through
the front of the insert openings, then tighten.
Step 5: Attach the Mounting Frame to the Enclosure.
To assemble K-POD302-1GD:
1. Pass the cables through the Enclosure’s
cable opening .
2. Align the Mounting Frame with the
Enclosure Screw Openings.
3. Pass the 4 screws (supplied) through the
Attachment Screw Openings, from the back
of the enclosure, then tighten.
