Do not operate power tools in
explosive atmospheres, such as in the
presence of ammable liquids, gases
or dust.
Store idle power tools out of the reach
of children and do not allow persons
unfamiliar with the power tool or these
instructions to operate the power
tool. Power tools are dangerous in the
hands of untrained users.
Use the power tool, accessories and
tool bits etc., in accordance with these
instructions and in the manner intend-
ed for the particular type of power tool,
taking into account the working condi-
tions and the work to be performed.
Use of the power tool for operations
dierent from intended could result in
a hazardous situation.
When battery pack is not in use, keep
it away from other metal objects, like
paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws
or other small metal objects, that can
make a connection from one terminal
to another. Shorting the battery may
causeirritation or burns.
Under abusive conditions, liquid may
be ejected from the battery; avoid
contact. If contact accidentally occurs,
ush with water. If liquid contacts eyes,
seek additional medical help. Liquid
ejected from the battery may cause
irritation or burns.

WARNING:
Read carefully and understand all instructions
before using the tool.
When using power tools, the following instructions must
be followed to prevent hazards such as electric shock, re
and/or serious injury.
Do not place batteries in a tool box or
pocket with nails, screws, keys, etc. Fire
or injury may result.
Have your power tool serviced by a
qualied repair person using only
genuine replacement parts. This will
ensure that the safety of the power
tool is maintained.

Additional safety regulations
for laser distance meter
The laser beam potentially causes eye
damage. Do not look or stare into the
laser beam.
During use, do not point the laser
beam at people, directly or indirectly
through reecting surfaces.
This laser complies with class II
according to the relevant standard. Do
not open the housing for any reason. If
the unit is damaged, have the damage
repaired by an authorized repair agent.
Do not allow persons unfamiliar with
the tool, these safety instructions, and
the tool’s operator’s manual to operate
the tool. This tool can be dangerous in
the hands of untrained users.
Do not dispose of tool or batteries to-
gether with household waste material!
Tool and batteries that have reached
the end of their life must be collected
separately and returned to an environ-
mentally compatible recycling facility.
Make sure you turn o the tool after
use. When the tool is not to be used
for a long time, save it after removing
the batteries

If damaged, have the tool repaired
before use. Accidents may be caused
by poorly maintained tools.
The tool should be used with care and
stored properly to avoid damage to
the instrument due to strong vibration
or falling.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
This tool is designed to measure distance,
lengths, heights, calculate the area and vol-
ume of measured objects as well as to carry
out indirect measurements (Pythagorean
theorem). The product is suitable for use in
both indoor and outdoor areas.

Tool 2200
Open the battery cover on the back of the
device and insert the batteries 16 according
to the correct polarity, then close the battery
cover again (g 1).
Use only 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries.
If you do not use the tool for a long time,
remove the batteries to prevent corrosion.
To activate the tool, press the Turn ON /
Measuring 1.
To switch o it, press and hold the Turn
OFF / Remove 2 button for 3 seconds. The
device can also be switched o when idle
for 150 seconds.
Long press the Reference point / Unit switch
3 button, reset current measurement unit,
the default unit is: 0.000m. There are 6 units
for selection.

Press the Reference point / Unit switch 3
button to change the reference point.
The device reference point by default is
rear.
The back light is set to turn on and o
automatically. The back light is active during
operation and turns o automatically in
15 seconds when there is no operation on
the device.
Long press the Subtraction / Sound 6
button to turn the key tone on or o.
This function can keep the precision of the
device.
Instruction: Turn the device off. Long press
the Turn OFF / Remove 2 button and then
press the Turn ON / Measuring 1 button.
You will see the word «CAL» on the screen
and a number below. You can adjust this
number with the Addition 7and Subtraction
/ Sound 6buttons to correct the accuracy
of the meter. Adjusting range: -9 to 9mm.
Then, long press the Turn ON / Measuring 1
button to save the calibration result.

Turn on the laser beam by short press

under measuring mode, press the Turn
ON / Measuring 1 button again for single
measurement of length, then the measured
results will be displayed in the main display
8 area.
Long press the Turn ON / Measuring
Press the Area / Volume / Pythagorean
Theorem 5 button, a rectangle will
appear on the screen.
One side of the rectangle is blinking on
the screen, to measure the area press the
Turn ON / Measuring 1button once for
length and press the Turn ON / Measuring
1button again for width. The device
calculates and displays the result in the
main display 8 area.
The recent length measurement result is
displayed on the auxiliary display 9. Press
the Turn OFF / Remove 2 button, clear off
the result and measure again if necessary.
Press the Turn OFF / Remove 2 button again
to exit the mode.
Press the Area / Volume / Pythagorean
Theorem 5button twice to enter volume
measurement mode. A cube will show
on the top of screen.
Τo measure the volume press the Turn ON
/ Measuring 1button for length, press the
Turn ON / Measuring 1button again for
width and press the Turn ON / Measuring
1button a third time for height. The device
calculates and shows the result in the main
display 8 area.
Press the Turn OFF / Remove 2 button,
clear off the result and measure again if
necessary. Press the Turn OFF / Remove 2
button again to exit the mode.

There are four modes with the Pythagorean
Theorem in case that user gets hard to
reach the target.
Calculate the second leg of the triangle
by measuring the hypotenuse and the
other leg.
Short press the Area / Volume /
Pythagorean Theorem 5 button three times
to enter «Pythagorean Theorem». A triangle
will appear on the screen and the
hypotenuse will be blinking.
Press the Turn ON / Measuring 1button,
measure the length of hypotenuse A. Press
the Turn ON / Measuring 1button, measure
the length of one leg B. The device will
calculate the length of the other leg X (fig 2).
Calculate the hypotenuse by measuring the
length the other two legs of the triangle.
Short press the Area / Volume /
Pythagorean Theorem 5 button four times.
A triangle will appear on the screen
and one side of it will be blinking.
Press the Turn ON / Measuring 1button,
measure the length of one leg A. Press the
Turn ON / Measuring 1button, measure
the length of other leg B. The device will
calculate the length of the hypotenuse X
(fig 3).
Short press the Area / Volume /
Pythagorean Theorem 5button five times
until the triangle appears on the
screen and one side is blinking.
Press the Turn ON / Measuring 1button,
measure the length of one leg A. Press the
Turn ON / Measuring 1 button, measure

until the triangle appears on the screen
and the hypotenuse is blinking.
Press the Turn ON / Measuring 1button,
measure the length of one hypotenuse A.
Press the Turn ON / Measuring 1button,
measure the length of another hypotenuse
C. Press the Turn ON / Measuring 1button,
measure the length of one leg B. The device
calculates the length of the leg in full line
X (fig 5).
Legs must be shorter than hypotenuse, or
there will be «err» shows on screen. In order
to guarantee the accuracy, please make
sure all measurements are starting from
the same point.

the length of the other leg C. The device
will calculate the length of the leg Xin full
line (fig 4).
The device can be used for length addition
and subtraction. Press the Addition 7button
and the Subtraction / Sound 6button to
select the function once you get the length
measuring result.
Short press the Addition 7button, «+»
shows in the main display 8 area, entering
cumulation mode. The value of the last
measurement and the result of cumulation
will be showed on the screen.
Short press the Subtraction / Sound 6
button, «-» shows in the main display 8
area, entering regressive mode. The value
of the last measurement and the result of
cumulation will be showed on the screen.
Not only the length can be calculated by
adding and subtracting, but both the area
and the volume.

Long press the Save 4 button for 3s to
record your measuring result under
measuring mode. It can also record the
result under Area / Volume / Pythagorean
Theorem. All the calculating records can be
saved by the device.
Short press the Save 4, read the records
by pressing the Addition 7button and the
Subtraction / Sound 6button. Short press
the Turn OFF / Remove 2button to delete
recent record and long press the Turn OFF /
Remove 2button to clear up all the records.
Press Save 4 button or the Turn ON /
Measuring 1button to exit record mode.

Read / Delete the record
For the cumulative area function, measure
the first area (fig 6). Then press the Addition
7button and measure the second area
(fig 7), there is a «+» at the bottom left of
the screen. Finally, press the Turn ON /
Measuring 1button to get the result of the
sum of these two areas (fig 8).

Warning information
Correct and regular cleaning will improve
the safety and extend the lifespan of the
device.
For safe and proper working, always
keep the tool and ventilation slots clean.
Τhe tool may be cleaned most eectively
with compressed dry air or with a soft cloth
moistened with soapy water. Always wear
safety goggles when cleaning tools with
compressed air.
Certain cleaning agents and solvents
damage plastic parts. Some of these are:
gasoline, carbon tetrachloride, chlorinated
cleaning solvents, ammonia and household
detergents that contain ammonia.
Store the tool, operating instructions and
where necessary the accessories in the
original packaging. In this way you will
always have all the information and parts
ready to hand.
5. Maintenance
WARNING:
Turn the device o, disconnect it from the mains and
wait until it cools down before cleaning or maintenance
to avoid electric shock or burn.

This tool has been checked by the manu-
facturer. From the date of purchase by the
nal consumer, a two year warranty for
amateur use covers any faulty material
and manufacturing. The receipt or invoice
of purchase needs to be displayed in case of
a repair that is covered by the warranty. For
possible faults during the warranty period,
you should address your issue to the retail
shop from which the purchase was made.
In case there is a need for a repair after
the warranty period has expired, we will
provide the best possible attention to repair
the tool successfully.
If, during the warranty period, there is a
fault that can not be repaired from the
authorised service department, the tool will
be replaced without any extra cost.
