The sensitivity control is used to make the
lens more responsive to dierent light levels
exeperienced in various welding processes. We
recommend a Mid-Range or 30-50% sensitivity
setting for most applications.
It may be necessary to adjust helmet sensitivity
to accommodate dierent lighting conditions
or if lens is ashing On and O. Adjust helmet
sensitvity as follows:

WARNING:
Whenever the welding helmet is o use and/or stored,
always keep the helmet with lter sensors downward.
Otherwise may cause batteries used up earlier.
●Turn sensitivity control 6to lowest setting.
●Face the helmet in the direction of use ,expos-
ing it to the surrounding light conditions.
●Gradually turn sensitivity setting clockwise
until the lens darkens, then turn sensitivity
control counterclockwise until slightly past
setting where lens clears. Helmet is ready for
use. Slight readjustment may be necessary
for certain applications or if lens is ashing on
and o.
Replacing Cover Lens if Damaged
(cracked, scratched, soiled or pitted)
WARNING:
Make sure to select the Mode selection button when doing
welding work. Fail to do so may cause eye protection
failure and injure your eyes.
Make sure that the welding mode and the shade number
you have selected is suitable for the welding process.
●Lift the front cover lens from bottom side with
one nger, remove it by draw out side.
●First bend the new cover plate and insert one
side of the plate into the cover plate security
slot and then the opposite side.
●Press the cover plate to t well.
• Before using, read the manual carefully and make
sure you know all what it has shown.
• When a new auto-darkening welding helmet is
used for the rst time, the operator should remove
the protective lms on the auto-darkening lters,
Otherwise, the shade level may be incorrect or fail
to work.
• Make sure the auto-darkening welding helmet is
suitable for the work you intended to do and all
parts and components are in proper order and
ready for work.
• To set the dark shade state according to Shade
Guide Chart, Make sure the shade number you se-
lect is correct and suitable for the job you are to do.
• Adjust the headgear according to your head size.
CAUTION (before welding):
●Push the mode selection switch 4to Grind
mode under grinding conditions.
●Turn knob 4to set proper shade number
according to Shade Guide Table between DIN
9-13.
●Turn knob 7to adjust proper delay time
between 0.1 - 1.0s from dark to light after
welding.
●Put on the helmet. At this moment, you can
see work pieces clearly.
●Start your welding work and the viewing
window will turn to intended dark shade
state you had set immediately. If it fails, stop
welding at once and check it out. Make sure
you have overcome the problem before
trying again.
●Power AUTO OFF when nish welding.
4. Maintenance
WARNING:
Replacement of any components and/or parts shall be
original from the manufacturer.
●User shall not uninstall the auto-darkening
welding lter. The lter must be removed by
the local dealer or qualied personnel. Other-
wise it will cause the warranty invalid.
●Replace the cover lens if it is damaged
(cracked, scratched, soiled or pitted).
●Cleaning the auto-darkening welding lter
with a clean lint-free tissue or cotton cloth.
