FCC/IC Notice
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC r les. Operation is s bject to the
following two conditions: (1) This device may not ca se harmf l interference,
and (2) this device m st accept any interference received, incl ding
interference that may ca se ndesired operation.
The expos re standard for wireless mobile phones employs a nit of
meas rement known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit
set by the FCC is 1.6Watts per kilogram (W/kg). Tests for SAR are cond cted
sing standard operating positions specified by the FCC with the phone
transmitting at its highest certified power level in all tested freq ency bands.
Altho gh the SAR is determined at the highest certified power level, the
act al SAR level of the phone while operating can be well below the
maxim m val e. This is beca se the phone is designed to operate at m ltiple
power levels so as to se only the power req ired to reach the network. In
general, the closer yo are to a wireless base station antenna, the lower the
power o tp t.
Before a phone model is available for sale to the p blic, it m st be tested and
certified to the FCC that it does not exceed the limit established by the

government-adopted req irement for safe expos re. The tests are performed
in positions and locations (e.g., at the ear and worn on the body) as req ired
by the FCC for each model. The highest SAR val e for this model phone when
tested for se at the ear is 1.41 W/kg and when worn on the body at the
waist is 0.69 W/kg. (Body-worn meas rements differ among phone models,
depending pon available accessories and FCC req irements). While there
may be differences between the SAR levels of vario s phones and at vario s
positions, they all meet the government req irement for safe expos re. The
SAR val es shown above (1.41 W/kg and 0.69 W/kg) are worst case val es
for a Kyocera smartphone. A typical Kyocera smartphone is 1.23 W/kg at the
ear and 0.395 W/kg when worn on the body.
Warning
Use only Kyocera Wireless Corp. approved accessories with Kyocera Wireless
Corp. phones. Use of any na thorized accessories may be dangero s and
will invalidate the phone warranty if said accessories ca se damage or a
defect to the phone.
To comply with FCC radiation expos re req irements, se of this device for
body-worn operational config rations is limited to accessories tested and

approved by Kyocera Wireless Corp. Other accessories sed with this device
for body-worn operations m st not contain any metallic components and
m st provide at least 22.75mm separation distance incl ding the antenna and
the ser’s body. Other belt-clips, holsters or similar accessories that have not
been tested for body-worn SAR may not comply with FCC RF expos re limit
and sho ld be avoided.
Caution
The ser is ca tioned that changes or modifications not expressly approved
by the party responsible for compliance co ld void the warranty and ser’s
a thority to operate the eq ipment.
