IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using your Rechargeable Lamp, basic safety precautions should always
be followed:
Always operate your KYOWA Rechargeable Lamp from a power source
of the same voltage and frequency rating as indicated on the rating
label.
Connect the lamp only to properly wired wall outlets.
Place the Rechargeable Lamp on a flat surface and far from the edge
of the counter top.
Do not operate the lamp if any part of it has been damaged. Return
the appliance to the nearest authorized dealer or service facility for
repair.
Do not operate or place any part of your Rechargeable Lamp on or
near any hot surface such as a gas or electric burner, hotplate or
heated oven.
Do not use or replace accessories of the Rechargeable Lamp, other
than the ones originally provided.
Switch OFF and unplug the lamp when not in use or before cleaning.
Always hold plug of the Rechargeable Lamp when unplugging from
socket. Do not unplug by pulling the supply cord.
Do not tie power plug around the Rechargeable Lamp.
Recharge lamp unit at least every three months to prolong battery life.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the
Rechargeable Lamp to rain, moisture or any liquid.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.

HOW TO USE
HOW TO OPERATE THE LAMP AS EMERGENCY LIGHT
Plug Rechargeable Lamp into the power outlet.
Slide power switch to ON position.
The Rechargeable Lamp will then light ON automatically when there is
a power failure.
Turn unit to OFF when not in use or if the lamp is not intended to be
used as emergency light.
HOW TO RECHARGE THE LAMP
Plug Rechargeable Lamp into the power outlet, red indicator lamp will
light up to indicate that the unit is charging.
For initial use, recharge lamp for 24 hours.
For subsequent charging, recharge lamp for 18 to 20 hours or until
battery is fully charged.

CLEAN AND CARE
Wipe Rechargeable Lamp thoroughly with a soft and damp cloth.
Pat dry using a soft and dry cloth.
Never use abrasive cleaning agents or any metallic and sharp objects
(e.g. scrubbing brush or knife) for cleaning.
Avoid any kind of moisture to seep into your Rechargeable Lamp.
Store lamp in a cool and dry place after cleaning.
SERVICE
Do not operate your KYOWA Rechargeable Lamp if the unit
malfunctions or appears damaged in any manner. Bring the complete
product to the place of purchase or to any authorized KYOWA dealers
for inspection, repair or replacement.
Do not disassemble your KYOWA Rechargeable Lamp by yourself. No
user serviceable parts inside. Refer all needed repair to an authorized
KYOWA service facility ONLY.
