IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using KYOWA Bread Toaster, basic safety precautions should always
be followed.
Always operate your KYOWA Bread Toaster from a power source of the
same voltage and frequency rating as indicated on the rating label.
Do not place any part of this toaster in water or any other liquid.
Prior to first use, the toaster should be used for a few minutes without
bread in it. There will be some smoke at first; this is entirely normal.
Avoid touching hot surfaces of the toaster during use.
Use only pre-sliced bread.
Do not insert oversized foods, metal foil packages, or metal utensils into
the toaster. This may result in electric shock.
Do not use the toaster near curtains, upholstery or other decorative
fabrics and other combustible materials, as they can easily catch fire and
cause a safety hazard.
Do not remove food from the toaster while the plunger is down.
This KYOWA Bread Toaster is not intended to be operated by means of
an external timer or separate remote control system.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazard.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
Do not operate or place any part of your KYOWA Bread Toaster on or
near any hot surface such as a gas or electric burner, hotplate or heated
oven.
This KYOWA Bread Toaster is intended for normal/domestic household
use only and is not suitable for commercial use.

Before using for the first time, kindly take time to carefully read
your instruction manual. Please observe all safety precautions and
follow operating procedures. After reading, kindly store your
instruction manual in a safe place for your future reference. Should
you pass on this Bread Toaster to a third party, please hand over
this instruction manual as well.

HOW TO USE
When using for the first time, remove all packaging materials from your
new KYOWA Bread Toaster. Unwind and completely untangle the power
cable.
1. Place your toaster on a flat, dry, stable surface.
2. Plug the toaster in, and adjust it to your required toasting time
using the Time Control Knob (3).
3. Place bread for toasting into the slot, then press down the Start
Control Knob (4). It will remain down until the bread is toasted.
4. If you wish to stop the toasting process, press the Cancel Button
(2). This will automatically eject the toast, and cancel the heating
elements.
5. If you used bread sticks, unplug toaster, wait for it to cool, and
then remove the bread. NEVER USE METAL UTENSILS TO
REMOVE THE BREAD.
6. After use, wipe away crumbs using a dry cloth.
7. Always allow at least 1 minute cooling time between cycles if
toaster is being used more than once at a time.
8. Always put bread into toaster slots when using the toaster.
Toaster will not function with empty slots.
CLEAN AND CARE
Unplug power cord from electric outlet.
Allow the toaster to cool down completely before cleaning.
Turn over the toaster to remove crumbs. Wipe clean and replace.
DO NOT use coarse or abrasive sponge, cloth or steel wool to clean
the toaster.
Never spray or apply cleaner directly onto or into the toaster –
cleaner should be applied to a soft cloth.
The outside surface of the toaster should be wiped with a soft, damp
cloth, and polished with a soft, dry cloth.
After cleaning, store toaster in a cool, dry place.
SERVICE
Do not operate your KYOWA Bread Toaster if the Bread Toaster
malfunctions or appears damaged in any manner. Bring the complete
product to the place of purchase or to any authorized KYOWA dealers
for inspection, repair or replacement.
Do not disassemble the Bread Toaster by yourself. No user
serviceable parts inside. Refer all service to an authorized KYOWA
service facility ONLY.
