IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using your KYOWA Bread Toaster, basic safety precautions should
always be followed.
Always operate your KYOWA Bread Toaster from a power source of the
same voltage and frequency rating as indicated on the rating label.
Connect the Bread Toaster unit only to properly wired wall outlets.
Do not use toaster in damp or wet area. Keep dry the exterior and the
base of the unit.
Do not operate or place any part of your KYOWA Bread Toaster on or
near any hot surface such as a gas or electric burner, hotplate or heated
oven.
Do not operate the toaster if it malfunctions or any part of it including
the supply cord has been damaged. Return the appliance to the nearest
authorized dealer or service facility for repair.
Use only pre-sliced bread.
Do not insert oversized foods, metal foil packages, or metal utensils into
the toaster.
Do not use the toaster near curtains, upholstery or other decorative
fabrics and other combustible materials, as they can easily catch fire and
cause a safety hazard.
Do not remove food from the toaster while the plunger is down.
Do not remove the crumb tray while the toaster is plugged in.
Disconnect from power supply, wait for it to cool, and then remove the
crumb tray.
Avoid touching hot surfaces of the toaster during use.
This KYOWA Bread Toaster is not intended to be operated by means of
an external timer or separate remote control system.
Hold plug when unplugging from the socket. Do not unplug by pulling
the supply cord.
Switch OFF and unplug the Bread Toaster from outlet after every use
and before cleaning.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the Bread
Toaster to rain, moisture or any other liquid.
Keep out of reach from children or from persons with mental or physical
disabilities.

instruction manual. Please observe all safety precautions and follow
operating procedures. After reading, kindly store your instruction
manual in a safe place for your future reference. Should you pass on
this Bread Toaster to a third party, please hand over this instruction
manual as well.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
This KYOWA Bread Toaster is intended for normal/domestic
household use only and is not suitable for commercial use.
Marked with this symbol on the appliance can be hot and
should not be touched without taking care.
HOW TO USE
Remove all packaging materials from the Bread Toaster. Completely
untangle or unwind the power cable of the toaster.
Plug the Bread Toaster into the power outlet and adjust toaster setting
using the Light/Dark Selector.
For initial use, the toaster must be used without bread in it. Some parts
of the toaster have been slightly greased and as a result, the unit might
slightly emit smoke when connected for the first time.
Place the bread for toasting into the bread slots and then push down
Start Control Knob. Toaster unit will not function with empty slots.
If you wish to stop toasting process, press the Cancel Button. This will
automatically eject the bread and shut OFF the heating elements.
Wait until the bread from the Bread Toaster pops up indicating that the
bread is already toasted.
If you used bread sticks, unplug toaster, wait for it to cool down then
remove bread sticks. Never use any metal utensil when removing bread
from the toaster.
Allow unit to rest for about one minute before toasting new bread into
the toaster again.
CLEAN AND CARE
Allow Bread Toaster to cool down completely before cleaning.
Remove Crumb Tray from the Bread Toaster.
Wipe off bread crumbs using a dry cloth.
Wipe external parts of the Bread Toaster using a soft and damp cloth.
Never use abrasive cleaning agents or any metallic and sharp objects
(e.g. scrubbing brush or knife) for cleaning.
Put back parts and accessories of the Bread Toaster to their proper
places before operating again.
After cleaning, store toaster in a cool, dry place.
SERVICE
Do not operate your KYOWA Bread Toaster with a damaged cord or plug,
or if the Bread Toaster malfunctions or appears damaged in any manner.
Bring the complete product to the place of purchase or to any authorized
KYOWA dealers for inspection, repair or replacement.
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble the
Bread Toaster by yourself. No user serviceable parts inside. Refer all
service to an authorized KYOWA service facility ONLY.
