IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using your Kyowa Sandwich Toaster, basic safety precautions should
always be followed:
Always operate your KYOWA Sandwich Toaster from a power source of
the same voltage and frequency rating as indicated on the rating label.
Connect the Sandwich Toaster unit only to properly wired wall outlets.
Do not use Sandwich Toaster in damp or wet area. Keep dry the exterior
and the base of the unit.
Do not place the Sandwich Toaster on uneven surfaces. Place upon a flat
area surface.
Do not operate or place any part of your KYOWA Sandwich Toaster on or
near any hot surface such as a gas or electric burner, hotplate or heated
oven.
Do not operate the Sandwich Toaster if any part of it has been damaged.
Return the appliance to the nearest authorized dealer or service facility
for repair.
Do not use or replace accessories other than the ones originally provided.
Never leave the Sandwich Toaster unattended when in use.
Avoid touching hot surfaces of the Sandwich Toaster during use. Use the
cover or handle only.
Hold plug of the unit when unplugging from socket. Do not unplug by
pulling the supply cord.
Switch OFF and unplug the Sandwich Toaster from outlet before filling,
emptying, when not in use or before cleaning.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the
Sandwich Toaster to rain, moisture or any liquid.
Keep out of reach from children or from persons with mental or physical
disabilities.
This KYOWA Sandwich Toaster is intended for normal domestic/household
use only. This unit is not suitable for commercial use.
HOW TO USE
For initial use, put some oil in the toasting plates of the sandwich toaster.
Allow unit to heat up for several minutes without putting any food inside.
Insert plug into the power supply. The Power ON Light indicates that the
unit is turned ON.

Before using for the first time, kindly take time to carefully read your
instruction manual. Please observe all safety precautions and follow
operating procedures. After reading, kindly store your instruction manual in
a safe place for your future reference. Should you pass on this Sandwich
Toaster to a third party, please hand over this instruction manual as well.

Wait for about five minutes or until the Ready Lamp lights up indicating
that the unit is ready to use.
Place slices of bread in the Baking Plates. Put desired filling for the bread.
Place slices of bread on top of the prepared sandwich.
Close sandwich toaster by pushing down the handle. Make sure that the
Handle Clip is properly locked in place.
Power ON light will blink to ON and OFF while the thermostat keeps the
sandwich toaster at the right temperature. This is entirely normal.
While cooking, you may check if the sandwich is already cooked by
opening the cover of the unit. If you need to extend cooking time, just
push down the handle of the unit to cover the sandwich.
Remove sandwich from the unit using a wooden spatula. Do not use any
kind of sharp or metallic objects.
CLEAN AND CARE
Allow Sandwich Toaster to cool down completely before cleaning.
Clean housing of the Sandwich Toaster by wiping with a soft, damp cloth.
Wash Toasting Plates using warm soapy water.
Do not use harsh cleaning agents or abrasive objects (e.g. scrubbing pads
or metal brushes) for cleaning.
Wipe dry the Sandwich Toaster with a soft, dry cloth.
Put back parts and accessories of the unit to their proper places before
operating again.
Store unit in a cool and dry place.
SERVICE
Do not operate your KYOWA Sandwich Toaster if the unit malfunctions or
appears damaged in any manner. Bring the complete product to the place
of purchase or to any authorized KYOWA dealers for inspection, repair or
replacement.
Do not disassemble your KYOWA Sandwich Toaster by yourself. No user
serviceable parts inside. Refer all needed repair to an authorized KYOWA
service facility ONLY.
