MOUNT YOUR SENSORS
THERMO-HYGRO
Keep out of direct sunlight & ensure the sensor is well ventilated.
We recommend mounting under a deck or eave facing north.
WIND
Ensure the sensor is mounted vertically, an unobstructed rooftop is ideal. Your Wind
Sensor should be the tallest object in the area to avoid reduced wind speed values.
RAIN
Mount in an open area 1-2 meters off the ground on a level platform. Check the sensor
often to remove leaves or other debris that could cause low rainfall readings.
BASIC SETTINGS
1. When the station is first powered on it will show time and search for all sensors.
2. VOIR APP will alternate every 3 seconds, with the day, for 30 seconds to direct the
customer to download the La Crosse View App.
3. After 30 seconds (if not connected) station will provide Greeting (BIENVENUE) and
move into the Setting Menu.
• The REG. button will move through the Settings Menu.
• Use the + or - button to adjust.

Language: Whichever language is selected; the following instructions and weekday will
be presented in that language.
Weekday: The Weekday will set automatically when your Year, Month and Date are set.
Note: If you have connected to the La Crosse View™ app, time & date will automatically
update from the Internet.
RAIN READINGS
Press the PLUIE button to view different rain readings. Your station will stay on the last
reading selected.
NOW: Rain from the start of a rain event until there has been no rain for 30 minutes.
This will reset to zero after 30 minutes of no rainfall.

1 HOUR: The past one hour rain fall (12 consecutive 5 minute accumulated totals).
24 HOURS: Accumulated total from the last 24 consecutive 1 hour rainfall readings. Not
a midnight to midnight value. This updates each hour.
7 DAYS: Accumulated total from the last 7 consecutive 24 hour rainfall readings.
Updates at midnight each day. Be sure time is set correctly.
1 MONTH: Accumulated total defined by the calendar month (i.e. January 1 - January
31). Note: Press the PLUS (+) button to view your past 11 monthly totals.
1 YEAR: Current month, plus past 11 monthly totals.
TOTAL: Total rainfall since powered on or reset.
Note: As time passes without rain, the 1 hour, 24 hour, and 7 day rain totals will count
down to zero.
Reset Rainfall Readings (each reset individually):
 Press the PLUIE button to view individual rain readings.
 Hold the MINUS (-) button until individual values reset to current readings.
WIND READINGS
Press the VENT button to toggle through your top wind speed readings in the past:
1 HOUR: Top speed in the past 60 minutes.

24 HOURS: Top speed in the past 24 hours. Not a midnight to midnight total. Updates
each hour.
7 DAYS: Top speed in the past 7 consecutive days. Updates at midnight each day. Be
sure time is set correctly
1 MONTH: Top speed in the current calendar month (i.e. January 1 - January 31). Note:
Press the PLUS (+) button to view your past 11 monthly top speeds.
1 YEAR: Top speed in the current calendar year (i.e. January 1 - December 31).
Reset Wind Speed History (each reset individually):
• Press the VENT button to view individual wind readings.
• Hold the MINUS (-) button until individual values reset to current readings.
WIND DIRECTION: When connected to the Internet, your display will show Wind
Direction in place of your 1 Hour Top Speed.

Reception Indicator: During the synchronization, the indicator will animate while
searching for a signal. It will be solid when connected.
TEMPERATURE/HUMIDITY READINGS
Press the TEMP button to view indoor and outdoor HI | LO Temperature/Humidity
records and Feels Like and Dew Point.
Viewing order:
• Outdoor High Temp with Time/Date
• Outdoor Low Temp with Time/Date
• Outdoor High Humidity with Time/Date
• Outdoor Low Humidity with Time/Date
• Indoor High Temp with Time/Date
• Indoor Low Temp with Time/Date
• Indoor High Humidity with Time/Date

Reset Temperature/Humidity Readings (each reset individually):
• Press the TEMP button to view individual temperature/humidity readings.

• HI | LO reading will reset to current temperature, humidity, and current time/date.

TEMPERATURE TREND ARROWS
The trend arrows update every 15 minutes and reflect changes greater than 1°C over
the past hour.
Up arrow: Temperature is rising
Right arrow: Temperature is steady
Down arrow: Temperature is falling
FEELS LIKE TEMPERATURE
Feels Like temperature indicates both Wind Chill and Heat index on stations with wind
speed
Feels Like Temperature shows Wind Chill: When the temperature is below 10°C, and
there is an8 KMH sustained wind speed.
Feels Like Temperature shows Heat Index: When the temperature is above 26.6°C.
Feels Like Temperature shows Current Temperature: When the temperature is between
10.1°C and 26.5°C, the Feels Like Temperature will remain the same as the outdoor
value regardless of humidity or wind speed.
SENSOR OR INTERNET MIN/MAX TEMPERATURES

Not Connected: The Minimum and Maximum Temperatures will come from your outdoor
Thermo-Hygro Sensor.
Connected: The Minimum and Maximum Temperatures will come from Accu Weather.
PRESSURE READING
 The Relative Pressure reading will come from the station.
 In the Settings Menu, select between Hecto Pascal (HPA) or Inches of Mercury
(INHG) for unit readout, and even program specific pressure values if desired.
 If you choose to add extra sensors, press the CAPTEUR SUPPLEMENTAIRE button
to switch between sensor and pressure readings.
FORECAST ICONS
Not Connected:
 Your station will provide 6 Weather Icons that update according to Relative
Pressure.
Connected:
 Your station will display up to 12 Weather Icons, day and night variations, and
Chance of Precipitation values, provided by AccuWeather.
 These icons will indicate future weather conditions for your location.
 The Sun Icon will show from 7am to 7:00pm if the forecast is Sunny or Partly Sunny.

 The Moon Icon will show from 7pm to 7:00am if the forecast is Sunny or Partly
Sunny.
HOURLY AND DAILY FORECASTS
When connected to the Internet, your station can display future forecast information.
This is stored from the most recent AccuWeather update.
 Press the HORAIRE button to toggle through your forecast to come during the next
12 hours.
 Press the QUOTIDEN button to toggle through your forecast to come during the next
7 days.
 If not connected: Station will say CONNEXION AU WIFI when the button is pressed.

ADJUSTABLE BACKLIGHT
Press the ECLAIRAGE button to adjust your backlight intensity from OFF to full
brightness (5 levels).
AUTO DIM
Program your station to automatically dim during preselected times.
1. Hold the ECLAIRAGE button to enter Auto Dim Settings.
2. Press + or - button to adjust.
3. Press the ECLAIRAGE button to confirm and exit. When active the words AUTO
DIM will show by the time.
Auto Dim Order:
• Auto Dim OFF/ON
• Auto Dim Start Time (Hour Only)
• Auto Dim Stop Time (Hour Only)
Note: f you change the backlight intensity during the Auto Dim sequence, your station
will stay on the new setting until the Auto Dim is set to start again.
SEARCH/ADD/DELETE EXISTING SENSORS
Your station and each sensor have a unique ID number that will identify them in the
La Crosse View app. This has the added bonus of locking them into your weather
station until you manually delete them.

View ID numbers in station:
Press and release the CAPTEUR button. The ID number and type will show on the
bottom of the station.

Search for Individual sensors:
1. Press and release the CAPTEUR button to view sensor type and ID.
2. Hold the PLUS (+) button to search for the sensor. The reception indicator will flash
for up to 3 minutes.
3. Allow up to 3 minutes to view sensor and ID on station.
Note: Once sensor is found search will stop. The reception indication will stop
flashing.
Sensor and ID will show for 3 seconds.
Delete Sensors:

1.
Press and release the CAPTEUR button to view sensor type and ID.
2. Hold the MINUS (-)
button to delete the sensor from the station.

WI-FI STATUS

ALL OK CONNECTED: Your Station is connected to your Wi-Fi and its data should be
available in your La Crosse View app.
CHECK APP: Check you La Crosse View app for notifications.
LOST WIFI: Check your router and network connections.
NO WEATHER SERVICE: Weather/Time Service not connecting. This will be resolved
at the Weather Server. Please be patient.
