1. Features
Item Description
Power Button Power ON : Press and hold for 2 seconds or longer.
Power OFF : Press and hold for 2 seconds or longer.
Mode Button Group ID, Side Tone, Tx/Rx Mode, MIC level, Output level=Setting/Change
Up Button Increase the setting value in each mode such as Volume, Channel, ID, etc.
Down Button Lower the setting value in each mode such as Volume, Channel, ID, etc.
Talk Button Group Version : Talk On/Off
Team Version : Mic On/Off
Function Button Multi function Key
Headset Jack 3.5mm Headset Jack

2. Function Description
2-1. Volume Control
GM-2.4G has volume control function that serves user to change volume level wanted.
Volume level is displayed after power is turned on.
Volume level can be set with Up/Down button in the range of 0~8.
The default level is 3.
2-2. Group Setting
GM-2.4G has group setting function that serves user to change group to communicate.
Turn on the GM-2.4G.
When press and hold the Mode button, the LCD window changed to Setting Mode.
Setting the desired group by pressing the Up/Down button on the left side of device.
The Group can be set from 0~39.
Press and hold the Mode button to complete the setting.

2-3. ID Setting
GM-2.4G has an ID setting function that allows users to change their ID.
ID should be set not to overlap each other in the same group, and Master terminal of
“ 00 “ must exist.
Turn on the GM-2.4G.
Press and hold Mode button to enter the setting mode.
Press the Mode button briefly to enter the ID setting change window.
Set up the desired ID by pressing Up/Down button. The ID can be set up to 00~99.
- When ID is “00”, it is set as Master.
- When ID is “01~99”, it is set as Slave.
To complete the setting, press and hold the Mode button.
2-4. Side Tone Control
GM-2.4G can turn side tone On/Off.
Turn on the GM-2.4G.
Press and hold Mode button to enter the setting mode.
Press the Mode button twice in the setting mode to move to the side tone setting
change window.
Side tone can be turned On/Off by pressing the Up/Down button.
To complete the setting, press and hold the Mode button.

2-5. MIC Level Control
GM-2.4G can be used to adjust the MIC input level.
Turn on the GM-2.4G.
Press and hold Mode button to enter the setting mode.
Press the Mode button 3 times in the setting mode to move to MIC gain setting
change window.
Press the Up/Down button to change the MIC gain setting.
MIC gain can be adjusted from 1 to 5.
To complete the setting, press and hold the Mode button.
2-6. Security Code Setting
GM-2.4G can adjust the security code value.
Turn on the GM-2.4G.
Press and hold Mode button to enter the setting mode.
In the setting mode, press Mode button 4 times to move to the security code setting
change window.
Security code can be changed by pressing Up/Down button.
Security code has 4 digits and each digit can be set from 0 to 9, A, B, C, D, E, F.
Security code can be set one by one. To move to another digit, simply press Mode
button.
To complete the setting, press and hold the Mode button.

Replaceable battery
If an equipment is provided with a replaceable battery, and if replacement by an
incorrect type could result in an explosion (for example, with some lithium batteries),

- if the battery is placed in an OPERATOR ACCESS AREA, there shall be a marking
close to the battery or a statement in both the operating and the servicing instructions;
- if the battery is placed elsewhere in the equipment, there shall be a marking close to
the battery or a statement in the servicing instructions.
