2. INTENDED USE (ANVÄNDNINGSOMRÅDE)
e UVG Medical Torch intended use is to irradiate Lumina
Adhesives dressings with 365nm light. Irradiating the dressing
deactivates the adhesive and the dressing becomes easier to
remove. (UVG Medical cklampa ska användas för att belysa
Lumina Adhesives förband med 365nm ljus. Belysningen
avaktiverar hämedlet och gör att förbandet blir lättare att ta
bort.)

3. WARNING (VARNING)
UV Radiation (UV Strålning):
• UVG Medical Torch radiates articial UV-A light.
(UVG Medical strålar articiell UV-A-ljus.)
• Do not expose patient to more radiation than needed.
(Utsätt inte patienten för mer strålning än nödvändigt.)
• Avoid close range exposure to eye.
(Undvik UV-bestrålning av öga på nära håll.)
• Maximum transmission time on skin and eye at a distance
of 5 cm is 16 minutes, during a period of 24 hours.
(Maximal belysningstid på hud och ögon är 16 minuter,
under en 24 timmars period.)
4. BEFORE USE (FÖRE ANVÄNDNING)
Check that the lamp has not been damaged during transport.
In the event of external damage to the product, contact the
distributor, do not use the product. (Kontrollera att lampan inte
har skadats under transport. Vid händelse av en utvändig skada
på produkten, vänligen kontakta er distributör, använd inte
produkten.)
5. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (BRUKSANVISNING)
Operating (Användning)
• e Torch is activated and deactivated by a pushing the on/
o button located at the end cap of the Torch. (Lampan
stängs av och sätts på med en strömbrytare i änden på
lampan.)

• e Torch has a xed focus, do not unscrew front cover.
(Ficklampan har ett fast fokus, skruva inte av frontringen.)
• e Torch is intended for switching Lumina Adhesives
dressings, do not use the Torch for any other purpose.
(Ficklampan är avsedd för byte av Lumina Adhesives
produkter. Använd inte lampan för annat ändamål.)
• Make sure to clean Torch before use on the next patient.
(Se till att rengöra lampan före användning och mellan
patienterna.)
• e Torch is intended to be used until battery goes out, and
then be charged. (Ficklampan är avsedd att användas tills
batteriet laddats ur och sedan laddas på nytt.)
• Please do not rest any nger on the on/o button aer
activating or deactivating the torch. (Vänligen håll inte kvar
ngret på strömbrytaren eer aktivering eller avstängning av
cklampan.)
Change, or mount, battery (Byta, eller montera, batteri)
1. Remove the endcap
of the Torch by
twisting the endcap
anti clockwise.
(Avlägsna ändhylsan genom att vrida den moturs.)
2. Make a gentle tilt of the Torch to slide out the battery. (Luta
lampan och låt batteriet glida ut.)
3. When placing the battery into the Torch, be sure the polarity
of the battery is correct. (Vid insättning av batteri, se till att
batteriet är vänt åt rätt håll.)
4. Tighten the endcap by twisting it clockwise.
(Sätt fast ändhylsan genom att vrida det medurs.)

Charge Battery (Ladda batteri)
1. Connect AC adapter to mains outlet. (Anslut AC adaptern
till vägguttaget.)
Connect AC adapter circular DC jack to charger. (Anslut
kontakten på AC adaptern till laddaren.)
2. Observe battery polarity when
inserting the batteries into the charger.
Misplacement of the batteries in the
charger can damage the charger.
(Observera polariteten på batteriladdaren.
Felplacering av batterierna i
laddningsdockan kan skada laddaren.)
3. Place battery in charging dock and
make a gentle push. (Placera batteriet i
laddningsdockan och tryck till försiktigt.)

6. STORAGE AND DISPOSAL (FÖRVARING OCH AVFALL)
• Store the UVG Medical Torch and extra batteries in a dry
and cool environment (below 30˚C). (Förvara UVG Medical
lampan inklusive extra batterier i en torr och sval miljö,
under 30˚C.)
• Store and handle batteries with care, keep away conductive
objects that can short cut battery. (Förvara och hantera
batterierna med aktsamhet.)
• Do not dispose battery in re or water.
(Släng inte batterier i eld eller vatten.)
• Consumed batteries shall be recycled at waste
disposal sites. (Förbrukade batterier skall lämnas till
återvinningsstationen.)
7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
(RENGÖRING OCH UNDERHÅLL)
• e UVG Medical does not need maintenance with the
exception of cleaning and charging. (UV Medical behöver
inte underhåll med undantag för rengöring och laddning.)
• Cleaning shall be performed with a so lint free cloth with
70% Ethanol or 45% Isopropanol. (Rengöring ska ske med en
tunn mjuk duk samt 70% etanol eller 45% isopropanol.)
• Cleaning shall only be done with the end cap mounted
and tightened. (Rengöring ska endast ske med ändhylsan
monterad och åtskruvad.)

inside the lamp (unscrew end cap). e product have checked
according to the Labino Quality Control system. e quality
Control comprises and guarantees that UV-irradiance is
within specied span for the specic version.
