Sciener smart lock
Instructions
•Ö Notes：
•1、Hardware:Android or IOS device with bluetooth
•Android: Operating system Android 2.0 and above
•IOS: IOS device with bluetooth 4.0(iPhone 4s,iTouch 5,new iPad and
above)
•2、Keep the APP running and make sure the bluetooth is
turned on when using or setting the devices.
•APP Download：
•Android Version：Googleplay、Android market & other
android APP markets.
•Ios Version：Apple APP Store

Tips before using
•User account: A Sciener account is needed
when adding a new user.
•IOS version APP can register and sign in at the start page.
•Android version need to sign in during the process of adding
an user.
•There are 2 kinds of user,Normal user and Admin user.The first
user must be the only Admin user of each lock.The admin user
can set the lock and manage other normal users.

Add user
•Operating Procedure：
•1、Setting the devices：Hold the setting button beside the batteries,after
you hear a long beep,it means the lock is in setting mode,and do not
release the button until you finish all the setting steps).

•2、Add user：
•Open the Sciener APP and sign in with a sciener
account,touch the “+” button to search the lock
which is in setting mode,choose the lock to connect
and save it,you will hear a beep if it succeeds,and
you can release the setting button.
•Please note that the first user must be the only
administrator of each lock.

•3、Now you can open the door with just one press of the unlock button
on the lock,and turn the handle after a beep and a buzzer.Three seconds
later,the it will be relocked.

Unlock Options
•Auto connect & Manual connect

•When you choose Auto connect,you don’t have to open the
Sciener APP,it can be connected when it’s running in the
background.
•If you choose Manual connect,you need to enter the app
before you press the unlock button.

Set the connecting distance
•You can set the connecting distance between the lock and
your mobile device

Set the ONE BUTTON CODE
•Just in case of the mobile is out of power and you don’t have the key either,you
can also open the door with the ONE BUTTON CODE.Only the administrator of the
lock can set and change the code.

TWO WAYS TO SET THE CODE
•First,hold the setting button,and do not
release until it’s finished.Choose the one
button code and set the code with 6-10
numbers(“0” not included).
•The second way,you just input the code(6-10
numbers without “0”),and press the unlock
button to save.

How to use the ONE BUTTON CODE
•1、Hold the unlock button until you hear 2 beeps which
means the lock is in ONE BUTTON CODE mode.
•2、Press the unlock button to input your code.Press one time
stands for number “1”,two times stands for number “2” and
so on.Please note that,when input a number you need to stop
and wait for a beep to input the next one.
•3、After finish inputting the code,hold the unlock button until
you hear 1 beep or 4 beeps.One beep means the code is
right,you can open the door now.4 beeps means the code is
wrong,you need to input again.

Manage the users
•This function is only available for the administrator to manage
the normal users.With this function,the administrator can add,
delete or block any normal user.

Check the unlock records
•The administrator can check all the unlock records of the lock

Clear the lock data
•Hold the setting button to enter the setting
mode,and then hold the unlock button until
you hear a beep,which means the lock is
empty now.

SHARE THE KEY
•This function allows the administrator to share
the key to any other registered user of
Sciener.The administrator can limit the
effective time of the key.
•The first version(V1.0) of the lock can not
support this function.

•Step 1:Enter “Manage Users” and then choose
“Send A Key”.
