you are now holding:aspice/pepper/saltgrinderwitha ceramicgrindingmechanism withadjustablegrindingneness.
Instructions for use:
1) Unpackthegrinderandremoveallpackagingmaterialfromit.
2) Wipethegrinderwithadampcloth–it mustnotcomeintodirectcontact withwateroradishwasher.
3) Take theplastic/stainlesssteelbodyothegrinderbyturningitanticlockwise. Pourthespicesinto thehopperthrough
thellingopening.Ifthegrinderiselectric,alsoremovethebattery compartmentbyturningit.InsertAAAbatteries
accordingtothepolaritydiagramandputitbackuntilitts/clicksin.OnlyusequalityAAAbatteriesfromrenowned
manufacturers.Reinstall thebodyofthegrinderandturnitclockwisetolockitintodefaultposition.

4) Removethelidprotectingthegrindingmechanism(ifitisa partofthegrinder).Setthedesiredgrindingnenessby
turningtheroundgrindingnenessadjustmentdial.Loosentheadjustmentdialforacoarsergrindandtightenit for
anergrind.ATTENTION! Donottightentheadjustmentdialtotheextremepositionsonbothsidessoasnotto
damagethegrindingmechanism.
5) Touseit,holdthegrinderabovethefoodonlyforthetimenecessary forseasoningit.Afternishingseasoning,close
thelidusedforcapturingremainingspices(ifitisa partofthegrinder).
Safety information and maintenance:
Always wipeallparts ofthegrinderwithonlya dampclothandimmediatelydrythereafter.Neitherthegrinderoritsparts
may comeinto contact withrunningwateror adishwasher.Donotdisassemblethegrindingmechanism.Ifcleaningis
necessary,onlyloosenthegrindingpart oftheadjustmentdial andcleanusingabrushorbyblowingairthroughit.Store
onlyinadryplace.
