PRINTER SET UP
Unpacking
The items illustrated below are included in the
package with the printer.

Battery Power Adapter
Selecting a Location
1. Protect the printer from excessive heat such
as direct sunlight or heaters.
2. Avoid exposing the printer to excessive dust
and humidity.
3. Place the printer on a firm, level surface free
from vibration or shock.
Connecting the Power Adapter
This printer requires an external power supply. An
approved Class 2 power supply is required for the
operation of this product.
1. Make sure the power is turned off.
2. Insert the output plug of the power adapter
into the printer DC jack.

3. Plug in the power adapter to an outlet.
4. Only use the supplied adapter.
Bluetooth Connection
Follow the instructions in the meter manual for
using the Bluetooth Mobile Printer with the meter.
LOADING THE PAPER
Use a paper roll that meets the specifications. Do
not use paper rolls that are glued to the core. Make
sure data is not being transmitted to the printer
while loading paper.
1. Open the printer paper cover by gently lifting
the plastic tabs located on the cover.
2. Remove the empty paper roll core.
3. Align the paper so it is straight and sits in
the paper cradle correctly. The core must be
parallel to the platen, not skewed, so it can
roll freely.
4. Make sure the paper is curling up.
5. Unroll the paper so that the leading edge of
the paper extends at least two inches beyond
the printer tear bar.
6. Close the printer paper cover and make sure
it snaps into place on both ends.
7. Press the FEED button to make sure the roll
is properly loaded. If the paper wrinkles or

creases on the edges of the paper, load the
paper again.
8. Tear off the excess paper against the serrated
edge.
To replace the paper use 58 mm wide thermal
paper with the same specifications in the General
Specifications chart.

BATTERY
Replacing the Battery Pack
CAUTION: The cell used in this device may present
a fire or chemical burn hazard if mistreated. Do
not disassemble, heat above 100 °C (212 °F), or
incinerate.
1. Turn the printer off.
2. Turn the printer over. Open the battery lid by
lifting the tab with a finger. Avoid using a
sharp object.
3. Remove the battery pack
4. Insert the new battery pack. Make sure the
battery contacts are aligned with the printer
compression connectors. The contacts
are keyed to ensure the right polarity is
maintained.
5. Replace the battery cover.

Dispose of used batteries properly. Keep away from
children.
CAUTION: The battery used in this device may
present a fire or chemical burn hazard if not
handled properly.
◊ Do not disassemble the battery pack.
◊ Do not short-circuit the battery pack
terminals.
◊ Do not throw the used battery pack into a
fire.
Charging Procedure
The printer is equipped with a lithium-ion battery
pack. Although the battery pack is charged when it
is shipped from the factory, the battery may have
discharged. Recharge the battery pack with the
appropriate AC adapter before using the printer.
Turn the printer off and plug the adapter into an
AC outlet and connect the cable to the printer.
The battery pack takes 6-8 hours to become fully
charged.
NOTES:
◊ Turn the printer off before charging the
battery pack.

◊ Do not charge the pack longer than 24
hours or the batteries may deteriorate.
◊ The printer can be used immediately after
the adapter is connected.
◊ The room temperature should be between
5 and 40 °C during charging.
◊ With the Bluetooth options, the true charge
state of the battery can only be determined
with the printer power turned off.

POWER BUTTON: The POWER button with the
icon is located on the top of the printer. Use this

button to power the printer, or wake the printer
from sleep mode. Press and hold the power button
for 2 seconds to cycle the power.
FEED BUTTON: The FEED button with the icon is
located on the top of the printer. Press the button
once to advance one line or 10 mm.
CHARGER LED: When the Red LED is:
a) Off - indicates that the adapter is not plugged in
b) Off - indicates the battery if fully charged
c) On - indicates the battery is beaing charged
d) Blinking - indicates a battery error or no battery
inserted.
ERROR LED: The flashing Red LED indicates an error
condition. The most common error conditions are
out of paper or an open cover. The blinking pattern
will vary according to the error condition.
POWER LED: The Green LED indicates that the
power is ON when it is lit steadily or blinking
depending on the request.
ERROR INDICATION
The Error LED (Red) blinks periodically
depending on the error condition. The blinking
patternaccording to the error condition is as
follows:

PRODUCT WARRANTY AND NOTICES
STATEMENT OF LIMITED WARRANTY
OMNIPRINT warrants that your printer is free
from defects in materials and workmanship
and conforms to OMNIPRINT’s official published
specifications. The warranty period is one year
commencing on its Ship Date. The date on your
packing slip is the Ship Date, unless OMNIPRINT or
your reseller informs you otherwise.
During the warranty period OMNIPRINT or your
reseller, if authorized by OMNIPRINT, will provide
warranty service and will manage and install
engineering changes that apply to the printer.
If your printer does not function as warranted
during the warranty period, OMNIPRINT or your
reseller will repair it or replace it with one that is at
least functionally equivalent, without charge. The
replacement may not be new, but will be in good
working condition. If OMNIPRINT or your reseller
is uable to repair or replace the printer, you may

return it to your place of purchase and your money
will be refunded.
If you transfer your printer to another user, warranty
service is available to that user for the remainder of
the warranty period. You should give your proof of
purchase and this Statement to that user.
EXTENT OF WARRANTY
OMNIPRINT does not warrant uninterrupted or
error-free operation of a printer. The warranties
may be voided by misuse, accident, modification,
unsuitable physical, or operating environment,
improper maintenance by you, removal or alteration
of printer or parts identification labels, or failure
caused by a product for which OMNIPRINT is not
responsible.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Under no circumstances is OMNIPRINT liable for any
of the following:
1) Third-party claims against you for losses or
damages
2) Loss of, or damage to, your records or data
3) Special, incidental, or indirect damages
(including lost profit or savings) even if OMNIPRINT
or your reseller is informed of their responsibility.

WARNINGS
◊ Do not subject the printer to excessive
force or shock such as treading on it,
dropping it, or hitting it.
◊ Do not install the printer in locations with
poor ventilation or in locations in which the
air contains salt or toxic gases.
◊ Do not use the printer at a voltage other
than the specified voltage or at frequencies
other than the specified frequencies.
◊ Only power the printer with the supplied
adapter and specified battery.
◊ Do not insert or remove the power cable by
pulling on the cable.
◊ Do not drop or insert foreign objects like
paper clips, pins, etc. into the equipment. In
such case remove the object, if accessible,
or contact your reseller for help.
◊ Do not attempt to disassemble or modify
the printer. Any such unauthorized action
will void the warranty and may cause a fire
hazard or electric shock.
◊ Do not spill or spray any liquids onto the
printer. In such case, immediately turn off
the power, remove the power supply cable,
and contact your reseller for help.
