Installation:
STEP 1: Lay out the supplied parts and hardware as shown on the parts list. Begin the install by gathering
the 2 plastic pipe caps and pushing them into the open pipe ends on the bumper. This can be more
difficult to install than it would seem. The best method to install these is to push them until the first ring
is inside the pipe then quickly grab a rubber mallet and gently tap them into place until flush.
STEP 2: After the pipe caps are installed grab your drill and 7/16 metal bit and go to the rear of the
vehicle. Locate the two holes on the frame that are level with the exhaust. These holes are surrounded
by a small metal plate that will distinguish them. Drill these holes straight through as shown in
figure 1
then give the holes a sharp blast of air to clear any metal shavings from the area.

STEP 3: Once the holes are drilled go ahead and grab your bumper and 5/16 hardware. Align the bumpers
top two holes with the holes you’ve just drilled on the frame. Put one of the 5/16 bolts with a washer
through a hole on one side and finish it with another washer and nut. Do the same to the other side, but
do not tighten either nut as this hardware will be tightened later in the assembly.
STEP 4: Grab your 1/2in hardware and install it on the three holes through the bumper plate and radius
plate as shown in
figure 2
below. Be sure to leave these loose until the next step.
