Safety informaon
It is important always to read the manual before using the product. Flotaon Cushions should be
used only as described in this manual.
LASAL Flotaon Cushions are exclusively intended for use in chlorinated water.
Despite LASAL Flotaon Cushions’ great oatability they should never be regarded as life
jackets or other rescue equipment.
The responsibility for the safety of the bathers, the risk of drowning or other injury always
rest with the assistant sta whether LASAL Floang Cushions have been used or not.
Extra aenon should be paid to children below 3 years and people who are unable to
swim or move on their own.
When using LASAL Flotaon Cushions, always make sure that assisng sta is present in
the water and no longer than an arm’s length away from the user. Never leave the user
alone and unaended in the water.
When posioning the user in the water it is vital to keep the airways free.
Never place the user where either water or otaon cushion may block the airways.
Not all cushions are designed to be fastened around the body and it is therefore necessary
to ensure that they do not oat away from the user. Either user or helper must be able to
hold on to the cushion in order to avoid geng the head under water.
Avoid contact with sharp, pointed or rough items against the otaon cushions as this
might harm and at worst tear the cushion.
Never use damaged LASAL Flotaon Cushions. If there is leakage on the cushion allowing
the lling to spread into the water, it must be removed from the water immediately.
The lling is not edible and must be kept out of mouth, ears, nose and eyes.
Do not use LASAL Flotaon Cushions near or in contact with ames or hot surfaces, such as
open res, stoves, cigarees or heat lamps. Only the lling is ame retarded.

could result in permanent damage or at worst drowning.
