Quick Start Guide

Select the button to set
temperature units, time, date and probe type.
Connect the EL-EnviroPad-TC to the PC via the
USB cable provided.
The PC will detect that the device has
been connected. Locate the les from the
‘EL-EnviroPad-TC’ drive you wish to
download and copy them to your PC. Files can
be opened in Excel® for further analysis.
The cable provided with the device is used
for data transfer and recharging. The
EL-EnviroPad-TC will automatically start
recharging once it is connected to a PC or USB
mains adapter.

Thank you for purchasing a Lascar Electronics
EL-EnviroPad-TC. This device takes and
records temperature readings via an attached
thermocouple, supplied with the product.
Other o-the-shelf probes can also be used if
required. This quick start guide provides basic
information to help you use your new product.
To turn on simply press the button situated
below the screen. To turn o, press and hold
the button.
The device will arrive partly charged but ideally
you should charge it for 24 hours before use for
optimum performance.

Connecting the Thermocouple
Viewing Previous Data
There is a thermocouple connector port at
the top of the EL-EnviroPad-TC. Insert the
thermocouple into this port.
Select the button to view
previously saved data and choose the required
le. Data can be viewed in a graphical or table
format.
The device is congured to a K type probe. If
you wish to use a J, N or T type probe select
the button and choose the
correct probe type.
View Data
Data Logging
Select the button to record
and save temperature readings at set
intervals. Full Set-Up includes selecting
sample rate, setting alarms and when you
want the device to start recording data. Quick
Set-Up takes you straight to recording data.

Select the button to record
and save temperature readings as and when
required.
