provide general information and operation in truction .

1.Key introduction
In thi guide, different typing format indicate different operation:

Notes on phone usage
Your phone will give off electromagnetic wave . Do not place it near
torage medium uch a floppy di k.
U ing the phone near televi ion, land phone, radio and office automatic
device may cau e interference and affect the function of the mobile
phone.
Keep the phone dry; all kind of liquid can erode electronic circuit.
Keep the phone away from extreme temperature .
Keep the phone away from fire or a lighted cigarette.
Do not paint the phone.

Do not drop the phone or violently cru h or hake the phone.
Do not keep the phone near magcard and other object with magneti m.
The phone’ magneti m may clear the information tored on floppy di k,
pre-paid phone card and credit card.
Keep the phone away from hot place where the temperature may exceed
60°C, uch a da hboard, window ill, or area expo ed to direct unlight.
Do not di a emble or modify your phone. Thi can damage the phone,
cau e leakage and break the internal circuit.
U e only damp cloth or non- tatic cloth to clean your phone.
Do not u e alcohol, thinner, benzene or other chemical or abra ive
cleaner to clean your phone.
The phone will become warm under normal u e and while in battery
charging.
Do not leave the phone with battery unin talled or with the battery empty
for a long period of time. Thi may cau e data lo .
The metal part of the phone may irritate your kin depending on your
health condition.
Do not put the phone in the back pocket. Sitting on it may damage the
phone. Do not put the phone at the bottom of a bag. You may cru h it.
When the vibrate mode i on, place the phone carefully to prevent it from
being dropped from a height or being moved to a heat ource due to the
vibrating.
U e only the tylu approved by the phone manufacturer.
U ing tylu of unauthorized ource will violate the term and condition of
the warranty and may damage the touch creen.
Handle the tylu with care. Place it back to it proper toring place when
not in u e. Keep it away from children.
Do not pre the touch creen with needle , pen point or other harp
object ; it can damage the LCD and violate the term and condition of the
warranty.

4.Main Menu
On the Standby creen, pre K or tap the icon to enter the Main Menu. You
can then acce the variou function and operation .
5.Phonebook
New
To add New Contact

To dial the contact directly.

To end vcard to contact by SMS or by Bluetooth.
Add to Blacklist
To add contact to blackli t.

To delete the elected phonebook entry.

To mark or mark all entrie for further operation .

To copy the phonebook entrie from your SIM card to your mobile.

Blacklist: you can add an entry in Blackli t, or check call record to elect the
number you want to et a rejected number.
6.Call Log
Call hi tory function log all recent call including mi ed call , dialed call and
an wered call .
Note:
Refer to the Setting chapter for the phone pa word etup.
7.Mu ic
Upon entering the Mu ic Player, All mu ic in My mu ic file will be di played .
In the player etting , you have the following option :, Update playlist,
Repeat, Shuffle,Spectrum display.
8.Media
The memory card hould be in talled before u ing following function without
FM radio.
8.1. Sound recorder
Enter the Voice memo function, tap to tart recording, and tap
to
top. The memo can be played back immediately or u ing Option menu to do
the following function : Play,New,Delete,View,Rename,Append,Setting ,U e
a , Send.
The Sound file are tored in Audio file.
8.2. Image viewer
Upon entering the Photo Album, the photo in Photo file are li ted.
8.3. Video recorder
Before u ing Camcorder, make ure you have in erted a memory card. The
video will be aved in AVI format to Video file of your memory card.
8.4. Video player
Upon entering the Video Player, Video file li t will be di played. Several
function are available by Option menu: Play, Send, Rename, Delete,
and Sort by.
9.Setting
Enter Setting from the Main Menu. There are General, Phone and
Connection Setting .
9.1. Dual SIM settings
Only SIM1 open, Only SIM2 open or Dual SIM open.
9.2. Pen calibration
Click anywhere on the creen with your tylu to tart calibration.
9.3. Phone settings
Time and date: enter to et home city,date/time and format.
Auto power on/off: You can et the time and condition for the phone to
automatically power on/off it elf.
Language: Set di play language.
Input method settings: Include Multi language etting , Engli h etting ,
Handwriting etting and Handwriting language.
Display: Set wallpaper, Lock creen image,Screen auto lock,Power on/off
di play.
Flight mode: et Normal mode or Flight mode.
Backlight: Set the brightne of backlight.
Torch status: On/off.
9.4. Profile
Seven Profile are available: General Mode, Meeting Mode, Outdoor Mode,
Silent Mode.You can elect any of the e Profile or cu tomize your own profile
by adju ting the parameter of the Profile. Re tore to default etting by
u ing the Re tore option.

9.5. Security settings
You can et Phone lock, SIM lock, Remote tracker and Auto keypad lock here.
SIM security: Allow you to check the SIM card lock tatu and change
pa word.
Phone security: Turn the phone lock on/off and edit your phone pa word.
The default i 4321.
Privacy protection: If et per onal ecurity lock for Phonebook

Call hi tory and File manager, you hould input the pa word (default i 4321)
when enter the e function . Al o you can change pa word for your elf.
9.6. Connectivity
Di play data account ,and you can edit them.
9.7. Call settings
9.7.1. SIM1 Call settings
Call waiting
You can turn the call waiting on/off and look up the current tatu . When the
call waiting i turned off and your phone i bu y, all other incoming call will
hear the bu y ring tone.
Call divert
Set the divert method for the following different type of call : all, voicemail,
data, fax. The divert method are: divert all, when bu y, when no an wer,
when no ervice, when power-off, cancel all divert.
Call barring
Set the block method for the following different type of call : all, voicemail,
data, fax and SMS. Block option are: all outgoing, international outgoing,
international outgoing while abroad, all incoming, incoming while abroad,
cancel all barring, change pa word.
SIM2 Call etting i ame a SIM1 Call etting .
9.7.2. Advanced settings
Blacklist
Set the tatu of Reject number in blackli t.
And al o you can edit the blackli t number .
Auto redial
You can et whether or not to uto redial the number la t called that wa
unan wered.
Call time display
On, Off
Auto call recorder
If you et it on, then the call will be recorded automatically
Call time Reminder
You can et the duration of the call for the phone to remind you when the
time i reached.
Call limiter
You can et the phone' talking time
9.8. Restore factory settings
Re tore your phone to the factory or default etting through thi option. You
need to input your phone pa word (default i 4321) for thi operation.
All data will be deleted when your phone i re tored to it factory etting .
10.Me age
Thi chapter introduce the me aging ervice provided by the GSM network.
Some ervice may not be upported by the local network.
10.1. Writing messages
10.1.1. SMS
Enter the SMS editor creen. You may u e keypad, virtual keypad or
creen handwriting to input Engli h, digit and punctuation mark .
10.1.2. MMS
The MMS function allow you to end text and multimedia uch a picture ,
voice and video to the other phone. Additionally, you can end the MMS
me age u ing CC and BCC function .
If the MMS i multi-page, the Option menu will provide the following option :
Delete page, Go to and Move to. If there i a ubject in the MMS content ,
you will have Subject and Delete option in the Option menu.
10.2. Settings
You can adju t the variou etting of the me age function including Text
me age and Multimedia me age.

11.Camera
Before u ing Camera, make ure you have in erted a memory card. The
photo will be aved in JPEG format to your memory card.
Note:
Taking picture in dim lighting may re ult in poor picture quality.
After entering the Camera function, the Camera Preview creen will appear
with the tatu icon . Pre Cam or tap to take the picture.
12.Gallery
The Gallery provide a ummary for all file tored in memory card.

13.Tool
The Tool include the following function : Calendar, Alarm, and o on.
13.1. Bluetooth
You may do function for your Bluetooth etting uch a : Turn on/off, Paired
device , Search device , Setting .
13.2. Calendar
In addition to the we tern calendar, a lunar calendar i al o provided. You can
add, edit and look up event on different date .
13.3. Alarm
You can et up to 6 alarm clock . The Alarm Clock etting include: Title, Time,
Statu , Frequency and Ringtone. The frequency etting are: Once, Daily,
Monday, Tue day, Wedne day, Thur day, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Alarm Dialog will be di played when the alarm goe off. You can top the
alarm or nooze for 5 minute .
13.4. World clock
World clock i provided with a world map. You can tap on the left or right of
the current time zone to witch to the next time zone. The local time of the
city on the map i di played.
13.5. Ebook
The eBook function li t the eBook in TXT format tored in your memory
card. On the bottom of the creen, the ize and the number of row of the
elected eBook are di played. Scroll up or down the li t, and pre OK to open
the elected eBook.
13.6. Calculator
A ba ic calculator i provided
13.7. Unit Convert
The Unit Converter can help you convert Currency, Energy, Speed, Ma ,
Area, Volume, Power, Time, Pre ure, Length, and Temperature
13.8. BMI
BMI function i provided. By inputting your weight and height, you are able to
obtain your BMI and ave it. Thi allow you to monitor your BMI change
over a period of time.
13.9. Stopwatch
Stopwatch provide 20 et of entrie with both total and lap timer function .
14.WAP brow er
You may brow e WAP web ite . Make ure you have enabled GPRS network.
15.FM radio
Make ure the head et, which i u ed a the antenna, i plugged in before
u ing the FM radio.
The following function are available via the Option menu:
My channel: Edit My channel. You can et up to 30 favorite channel . In My
channel menu, you have the following option : Play, Edit, Delete, and Delete
all.
Auto search: Auto earch channel and then ave in My channel.
Manual input: Switch to your de ired channel by manual input of the radio

frequency.
Record: Select it, Record the channel.
Speaker: On, Off.
16. SAR (SPECIFIC ABSORPTION RATE) INFORMA
TION

19. LAVA WARRANTY CERTIFICATE
Limited warranty:
LAVA international Ltd. (LAVA) provide limited warranty for your mobile
phone and original acce orie delivered with your mobile phone
(hereinafter referred to a “product”)
The warranty period for the tran ceiver i one (1) year and for battery,
charger and head et i ix (6) month from the date of purcha e.
LAVA Warranty
Subject to the condition of thi Limited Warranty, LAVA warrant a
product to be free from defect in de ign, material and workman hip at
the time of it original purcha e by you, and for a ub equent period of
one (1) year for tran ceiver and ix (6) month for battery & charger.
You shall have coverage or benefits under this warranty in the
event that any of the following conditions are applicable:

pecified u able by LAVA.
