Mufer to cylinder
Put the 2 hexalobular socket screws (M5X56) through
the mufer assembly. Apply a thermostable screw-
thread glue onto the 2 screw holes and secure the
mufer to the cylinder using the torque spanner.

Carburetor mount to

Use 2 hexalobular socket screws (M5X30) (with thread
glue) to secure the carburetor mount to cylinder. 35-44 4-5

Ignition coil to cylinder
Use 2 hexalobular socket screws (M5X23) (with thread
glue) to secure the ignition coil to cylinder. One of the
screws should pass through the conductor plate rst,
and then through the ignition coil assembly.

Front engine cover to
crankcase
Use 4 hexalobular socket screws (M5X23) (with thread
glue) to secure the front engine cover to crankcase. 27-35 3-4
Clutch to crankshaft
Apply a thermostable screw-thread glue onto the
clutch threaded hole. Secure the clutch to the
crankshaft with a torque spanner.

rear engine cover
Tighten the 5 self-tapping screws (ST4.8X16F) to
secure the front engine cover and rear engine cover. 18-22 2-2.5
Connection cover to
front engine cover
Tighten the 4 self-tapping screws (ST4.8X16F) to
secure the connection cover and front engine cover. 18-22 2-2.5
Air lter base to
carburetor mount
assembly
Make 2 hexalobular socket screws (M5X55) pass
through the casing pipe, air lter base, carburetor and
carburetor washer, then secure them to the carburetor
mount assembly using the torque spanner.

Electric start motor to
front engine cover
Apply a thermostable screw-thread glue onto the 2
cross machine screws (M3X8). Secure the electric
start motor to the front engine cover with a torque
spanner.

Make 4 self-tapping screws (ST3.9X16F) pass through
the upper engine cover and dust lter, then secure the
upper engine cover to the front engine cover with a
torque spanner.

Tighten 1 self-tapping screw (ST2.2X6F) to secure the
LED light panel to starter switch base with a torque
spanner.

GENERAL SAFETY RULES
SAFETY
To protect the eyes from loose objects that could be thrown from the trimmer, always wear eye
protection with side shields marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1 when operating the trimmer.
Use only genuine manufacturer’s replacement parts for this product. Failure to do so may cause poor
t, poor function and possible injury.
Scarfs, neckties, jewelry, jackets or other loose clothing and accessories should be avoided as they
can be caught on or become entangled in the trimmer. Secure hair so it is above shoulder level. To
protect your legs and feet, long pants and closed toed shoes should be worn.
To improve your grip and protect your hands, wear heavy-duty nonslip gloves.
The sound level exceeds 85 dB(A). To prevent hearing damage, always wear sound barriers (ear plugs
or ear mufers).
GENERAL TRIMMER SAFETY
Never operate the trimmer with a damaged guard or without the guard in place.
Avoid getting into direct contact with the line.
Always remember to keep both hands on the control handles when the engine is running.
Do not operate the trimmer if there is a fuel leak as it is a re hazard. The fuel leak must be xed prior
to operating the trimmer.
Empty the fuel tank before storing if the trimmer will not be used for a few days.
Make sure the control handles have not accumulated oil and fuel and are clean and dry.
See Operator’s Manual for additional safety precautions.
WORK AREA
Operate only in well ventilated areas.
Observe all safety regulations for the safe handling of fuel. Mix and handle fuel in a container approved
for storing gasoline. Wipe the trimmer dry if fuel is spilled on it. Always move away from the fueling
area before starting the engine.
Fuel the trimmer at least 10 ft. (3 m) from the place where you start the engine and operate the
trimmer.
NOTE: The trimmer head will rotate during carburetor adjustment. Wear protective equipment and
observe all safety instructions.
