to clean the equipment. Always unplug the power cord and power adapter from the power outlet at the plug or
adapter and not by pulling on the cord. Never touch the power cord and power adapter with wet hands.

CONNECTIONS, CONTROLS, AND INDICATORS:
1MIC INPUT CH1 - CH3
Balanced microphone input (XLR/ 6.3 mm jack combo) It is also possible to use an unbalanced microphone
cable (mono jack). A 15 V phantom power can be switched on (switch 22).
2HI-Z
Using this pressure switch, the input of channel 1 (CH1) can be switched to high impedance (push switch
down for activation). Channel 1 can thus be used as a channel for instruments such as an electric guitar.
3LINE INPUT CH4 (RCA L/R)
Unbalanced line input (RCA) for connecting an external audio source (e.g., laptop, MP3 player). A stereo
signal is mono summed internally.
4LINE INPUT CH4 (3.5 MM STEREO JACK)
Unbalanced Line Input with a 3.5 mm stereo jack. A stereo signal is mono summed internally.
5HIGH
Equalizer high band (12 kHz) for input channels 1 to 4 (CH1 - CH4). When turned to the left, levels are lowe-
red, when turned to the right, they are raised. In the centre position (resting point), the equalizer is inactive.
6LOW
Equalizer low band (80 Hz) for input channels 1 to 4 (CH1 - CH4). When turned to the left, levels are lowered,
when turned to the right, they are raised. In the centre position (resting point), the equalizer is inactive.
7LEVEL
Volume control for channels 1 to 4 (CH1 - CH4).

CONNECTIONS, CONTROLS, AND INDICATORS:
8DFX
Effect Send controls for channels 1 to 4 (CH1 - CH4). The signal of the corresponding channel is tapped
behind the volume control (post-fader) and routed to the internal effects processor (DSP), according to the
setting of the Effect Send knob. It is important to ensure that the internal input of the effects unit is not
overloaded (watch the PEAK LED).
9PRESETS
Endless rotary switch for selecting one of the 16 internal digital effects. A list of all effects is located right
next to the controls on the effects unit (DSP).
10 DFX RET
By using the effects return knob, the effect signal can be mixed to the sum signal (MAIN signal).
11 MUTE
By pressing the MUTE button, the internal effect unit is muted, and the PEAK LED is continuously on. Pressing
once again cancels the mute status and the PEAK LED goes out.
12 PEAK LED
The PEAK LED lights up if the input to the internal effects processor is clipping (turn down the effect send
level DFX in channels 1 to 4 ), or if the internal effects unit is muted (MUTE).
13 LOW
Equalizer bass band (80 Hz) for the sum channel. When turned to the left, levels are lowered, when turned to
the right, they are raised. In the centre position (resting point), the equalizer is inactive.
14 MID
Equalizer mid band (2.5 kHz) for the sum channel. When turned to the left, levels are lowered, when turned to
the right, they are raised. In the centre position (resting point), the equalizer is inactive.
15 HIGH
Equalizer high band (12 kHz) for the sum channel. When turned to the left, levels are lowered, when turned to
the right, they are raised. In the centre position (resting point), the equalizer is inactive.
16 MAIN LEVEL
Volume control of the sum channel (total volume).
17 MAIN LEVEL METER
4 segment level meter for the sum channel. Once the peak LED (PK) lights up, the device is operating at
the distortion limit. It is not critical if the LED lights briefly at peak levels for the incoming signal, however
continuous illumination should be avoided by reducing the volume.

CONNECTIONS, CONTROLS, AND INDICATORS:
18 POWER-LED
Lights up once the system is properly connected to the power mains and switched on.
19 MONITOR
Volume control on the monitor channel. The signal corresponds to the sum signal and is tapped before the
volume control of the sum channel (MAIN LEVEL), and is therefore independently adjustable.
20 MONITOR OUT
Balanced mono output with 6.3 mm jack. Connection possibility for a further active speaker. Level adjustment
via the MONITOR volume control (No. 19).
21 MAIN POWER OUT
Output (6.3 mm jack) with 70 W RMS amplifier power for a passive speaker (e.g. LDMIX6G2 The impedance
of the connected speakers should not be less than 4 ohm. The volume is set to be parallel with the master
volume on the volume control MAIN LEVEL (No. 16). The signal corresponds to the sum signal.
22 PHANTOM ON / OFF
Switchable 15 V phantom power for the microphone inputs on channels 1 to 3 (CH1 - CH3). In "ON" position,
the phantom power is on and off in the "OFF" position.
23 REC OUT
Line output on RCA connectors. The present signal corresponds to the sum signal and is tapped before the
volume control of the sum channel (MAIN LEVEL), and is therefore independently adjustable.
24 110 - 120 V / 220 - 240 V
Switch for setting the operating voltage. The mains voltage of your power supplier and the operating voltage
of the device must be the same!
25 IEC POWER SOCKET WITH INTEGRAL FUSE HOLDER
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: BEFORE using this equipment, make certain that the mains voltage of your
energy utility and the operating voltage of the device match! Always replace the fuse with a fuse of the same
type and values according to the supply voltage (see label on the rear panel)
If the fuse blows repeatedly, please contact an authorised service centre.
26 POWER ON / OFF
On / Off switch for the power supply of the device.
