Introduction
The Revolver series signals the start of a new generation of plastic speakers. The speakers are multifunctional
two-way systems for full range applications. The Revolver series consists of passive and active versions of
speakers with an 8”, 10”, 12” or 15” bass chassis.
Concept
More power, more volume and a high sound pressure level with an improved bass response – all these characte-
ristics make the Revolver series a universal PA solution. The revolver series can be implemented in a wide range
of applications, as a PA, in installations or as monitor speakers. The active versions are equipped with a B&O ICE
power Class D module which guaranties high reliability and minimum weight. Additionally, the revolver series
offers all of the common protective circuits. Throughout the whole series, high end FE (8“/10“) respectively ND
(12“/15“) have been used exclusively.

PREVENTIVE MEASURES:
1.Please read the attached safety instructions as well as the following instructions carefully.
2. Please keep all the instructions.
3. Please use the device only as intended.
4. Please respect the valid waste management rules. Please deliver the packaging divided into plastic and
paper/ cardboard to the recycling management.
5. Please refer all servicing to qualified personel only if the device is damaged, exposed to liquid/rain or if it does
not operate normally.
6. Please, do not expose to any kind of heat such as ovens, radiators, or any other devices (incl. amplifiers).
Please check for enough distance between amplifiers and walls, racks, etc. to prevent overheating.
7. After connection please check the wiring to prevent any kind of accident or damage.
Please never use any kind of damaged cable and wiring.
8. Only use authorized and stable stands, brackets, shelfs, tables etc.. for installations. Please check for
adequate stability against collapse.
CAUTION:
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove cover (or back). No user serviceable parts inside. Refer
servicing to qualified personnel.
The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the
user to the presence of uninsulated “dangerous voltage” within the product´s enclosure that may be
of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk to persons.
The exclamation mark within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of
important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the
appliance.
CAUTION! HIGH VOLUME!
You will operate this system for professional use. Therefore the commercial use of this equipment is liable to the
rules and regulations of the Accident Prevention & Insurance Association of your industry sector. Adam Hall as a
manufacturer is bound to inform you formally about the existence of eventual sanitary risks.
These speakers are able to induce high acoustic sound pressure levels. 85 db is by law the maximum audio
pressure level which your ear can be exposed to during a work day. It was set according to the technical exper-
tise of the occupational medicine as a basis for the noise rating level. Higher sound levels or longer exposition
times could damage your ear. The time of exposition by higher sound pressure levels should be shortened in
order to prevent from ear damages. Here are a few reliable warning signals which show that you have exposed
yourself for a too long period to excessive sound pressure levels:
- You hear bell- or whistling sounds!
- You have the impression that you can’t hear high tones anymore!

INSTALLATION & PLACEMENT:
Recessed flanges make the cabinets suitable for mounting on speaker stands, but they can also be flown thanks to
the lashing points provided. Additionally, the speakers are formed in such a way, that they can also be used as floor
monitors. All cabinets are manufactured of high quality plastic.
Indoors, you can place the cabinet however you see fit. Use the built in flange for a speaker stand, hang the cabinet
from a flying system using the recessed threads provided in the top of the cabinet (each of which is protected by a
rubber cap when not in use). Outdoors, you must ensure that the cabinet is placed so that it will be protected against
direct exposure to rain and water spray.

1MICROPHONE INPUT
Balanced XLR/Jack microphone input.
2GAIN MICRO
Adjust the input sensitivity of the microphone input with this gain control. Please regard that microphones
needing phantom power (condenser microphones for example) will not work at these inputs since they do
not supply a phantom power.
3LINE INPUTS
Balanced XLR/Jack line input (mono).
4LINE INPUTS
Unbalanced stereo RCA line inputs.
5GAIN LINE
Adjust the input sensitivity of the line input with this gain control.
6LINE OUTPUTS
Balanced XLR output (mono). The two inputs (mic and line inputs) are mixed together according to the adjus-
ted levels and sent to this output. You can use this output to split the mixed inputs out to another active
speaker or amplifier.
Note: This output is split out before the master section (the controls 7, 8, and 10 on the Revolver 8”
and 10” models, and the controls 7, 8, 9 and 10 on the 12” and 15” models). This output is thus inde-
pendent from these controls.
7VOLUME MASTER
This is the master volume control. You can adjust the overall volume of the amplifier – unit.
8TREBLE
The treble control allows you to pad or boost high frequencies by -12dB respectively +12dB. (This function is
not available on the 8” and 10” models)
9MID
The Mid control allows you to pad or boost mid frequencies by -12dB respectively +12dB.
10 BASS
The bass control allows you to pad or boost low frequencies by -12dB respectively +12dB.
11 POWER
The power LED lights up green when the device is turned on. The red Clip-LED starts blinking when the
amplifier reaches its clipping threshold. This should be avoided, to do so, reduce the master level (control
nr. 7 on the diagram) until the LED stops blinking.

12 GROUND LIFT SWITCH
This switch is to avoid ground loop hum. Should a low humming noise (ground loop) occur, it can be elimi-
nated by switching the Ground Lift to On. Ground looping is caused by two pieces of equipment being doubly
earthed.
13 AC INPUT
Mains connector.
14 ON / OFF
Mains switch. Before switching on the power to the unit, all level controls should be set to minimum. Other
wise, microphones already connected to the system may cause undesired feedback.

LIMITED wARRANTY
This Limited Warranty applies to the Adam Hall, LD Systems, Defender, Palmer and Eminence branded products.
The statutory warranty rights towards the seller are not affected by this guarantee. In fact, it justifies, additional
independent warranty claims towards Adam Hall.
Adam Hall warrants that the Adam Hall product you have purchased from Adam Hall or from an Adam Hall autho-
rized reseller is free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use for a period of 2 or 5 years from
the date of purchase.
The Limited Warranty Period starts on the date of purchase. In order to receive warranty services you are required
to provide proof of the purchase date. Your dated sales or delivery receipt, showing the date of purchase, is your
proof of the purchase date. Should products of the brands named above be in need of repair within the limited war-
ranty period, you are entitled to warranty services according to the terms and conditions stated in this document.
This Limited Warranty extends only to the original purchaser of this Adam Hall branded product and is not transfe-
rable to anyone who obtains ownership of the Adam Hall branded product from the original purchaser. During the
Limited Warranty Period, Adam Hall will repair or replace the defective component parts or the product. All compo-
nent parts or hardware products removed under this Limited Warranty become the property of Adam Hall.
In the unlikely event that your Adam Hall product has a recurring failure, Adam Hall, at its discretion, may elect to
provide you with a replacement unit of Adam Hall´s choice that is at least equivalent to your Adam Hall branded
product in hardware performance.
Adam Hall does not warrant that the operation of this product will be uninterrupted or error-free. Adam Hall is not
responsible for damage that occurs as a result of your failure to follow the instructions included with the Adam
Hall branded product.
This Limited Warranty does not apply,
- to wear parts (e.g. accumulator)
- to any product from which the serial number has been removed or that has been damaged or rendered defec
tive as the result of an accident
- in case of, misuse, abuse, or other external causes
- by operation outside the usage parameters stated in the user´s documentation shipped with the
product
- by use of spare parts not manufactured or sold by Adam Hall
- by modification or service by anyone other than Adam Hall
These terms and conditions constitute the complete and exclusive warranty agreement between you and Adam
Hall regarding the Adam Hall branded product you have purchased.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
If your Adam Hall branded hardware product fails to work as warranted above, your sole and exclusive remedy
shall be repair or replacement. Adam Halls’ maximum liability under this limited warranty is expressly limited
to the lesser of the price you have paid for the product or the cost of repair or replacement of any hardware
components that malfunction in conditions of normal use.
Adam Hall is not liable for any damages caused by the product or the failure of the product, including any lost
profits or savings or special, incidental, or consequential damages. Adam Hall is not liable for any claim made by
a third party or made by you for a third party.
This limitation of liability applies whether damages are sought, or claims are made, under this Limited Warranty
or as a tort claim (including negligence and strict product liability), a contract claim, or any other claim. This limi-
tation of liability cannot be waived or amended by any person. This limitation of liability will be effective even if
you have advised Adam Hall of an authorized representative of Adam Hall of the possibility of any such damages.
This limitation of liability however, will not apply to claims for personal injury.
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that may vary from state to
state or from country to country. You are advised to consult applicable state or country laws for a full determina-
tion of your rights.
REQUESTING wARRANTY-SERVICE
To request warranty service for the product, contact Adam Hall or the Adam Hall authorized reseller from which
you purchased the product.

These products meet the essential requirements as well as the further standards of the EU Directives 199/5/EU,
89/336/EU.
CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THIS PRODUCT (ELECTRICAL WASTE)
(Applicable in the European Union and other European countries with separate collection systems)
This marking shown on the product or its literature, indicates that it should not be disposed with other household
wastes at the end of its working life. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncon-
trolled waste disposal, please separate this from other types of wastes and recycle it responsibly to promote the
sustainable reuse of material resources.
Household users should contact either the retailer where they purchased this product, or their local government

Einleitung
Die Lautsprecherboxen der Revolverserie stellen eine neue Generation Kunststoffboxen dar. Dabei handelt es sich
um multifunktionale Zweiwegesysteme für den Fullrangebetrieb.
Die Revolverserie besteht aus Lautsprecherboxen mit einen 8“, 10“, 12“ oder 15“ Basschassis in aktiven und
passiven Ausführungen
Konzept
Mehr Leistung, Volumen und ein hoher Schalldruck mit tiefer Abstimmung, machen die Revolver Serie zu einer
universellen Beschallungslösung. Egal ob als FOH, Bühnenmonitor (bereits mit abgeschrägtem Monitorwinkel)
oder Installationsbox - die Revolver Serie bietet verschiedenste Anwendungsmöglichkeiten. Die aktiven Versionen
sind mit einem B&O ICE Power Class D Modul aufgebaut und garantieren neben einem zuverlässigen Dauerbe-
trieb ein sehr geringes Gewicht. Die Revolver Serie verfügt zudem noch über alle gängigen Schutzschaltungen. In
der ganzen Serie wurden ausschließlich hochwertige FE (8“/10“) bzw. ND (12“/15“) Lautsprecher verbaut.

8. Verwenden Sie ausschließlich stabile und passende Stative bzw. Befestigungen wenn das Gerät fest installiert
wird. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät sicher installiert ist und nicht herunterfallen kann.

Entfernen Sie niemals die Abdeckung, da sonst die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schocks besteht.
Im Inneren des Gerätes befinden sich keine Teile, die vom Bediener gewartet oder repariert werden können.

Vorsicht! Hohe Lautstärke!
Diese Übertragungsanlage wird von Ihnen professionell eingesetzt. Daher unterliegt der Gebrauch bei gewerbli-
cher Nutzung den Regeln und Vorschriften der zuständigen Berufsgenossenschaft. Adam Hall als Hersteller ist
daher verpflichtet, Sie auf möglicherweise bestehende gesundheitliche Risiken ausdrücklich hinzuweisen.
Mit diesen LAutsprechern können hohe Schalldrücke erzeugt werden. 85db ist der Schalldruck, der laut Gesetz
als maximal zulässiger Wert über die Dauer eines Arbeitstages auf Ihr Gehör einwirken darf. Er wird nach den
Erkenntnissen der Arbeitsmedizin als Berurteilungspegel zu Grunde gelegt. Höhere Lautstärken oder längere
Einwirkzeit können Ihr Gehör schädigen. Bei höheren Lautstärken muss die Hörzeit verkürzt werden, um eine
Schädigung auszuschließen. Sichere Warnsignale dafür, dass Sie sich zu lange zu lautem Geräusch ausgesetzt
haben, sind:
- Sie hören Klingel- oder Pfeifgeräusche in den Ohren!
- Sie haben den Eindruck, hohe Töne nicht mehr wahrzunehmen!

MONTAGE & AUFSTELLUNG:
Durch die eingelassene Hülse sind die Boxen für den Betrieb auf einem Stativ geeignet, es sind jedoch ebenso Befes-
tigungspunkte zum Fliegen vorhanden. Die Box kann aber dank ihrer Form auch als Bodenmonitor verwendet werden.
Alle Gehäuse sind aus einem hochwertigen Kunststoff gefertigt.
Platzieren Sie die die Box entsprechend Ihren Vorstellungen im Innenbereich. Benutzen Sie den eingebauten Flansch
für einen Hochständer. Die auf der Oberseite der Box eingelassenen Gewinde (jeweils mit einer Gummikappe abge-
deckt) sind für die Montage von Fluggeschirr vorgesehen. Wenn Sie die Box im Außenbereich einsetzen, muss sie vor
direkter Regeneinwirkung und Spritzwasser geschützt aufgestellt werden.

1MICROPHONE INPUT
Symetrischer Mikrofoneingang in XLR- Klinkenausführung
2GAIN MICRO
Über diesen Gain Regler können Sie die Empfindlichkeit des Mikrofoneingangs einstellen. Beachten Sie
bitte, dass Mikrofone die eine Phantomspeisung benötigen (beispielsweise ein Kondensatormikrofon) an
diesen Eingängen nicht funktionieren werden, da sie nicht über eine Phantomspeisung verfügen.
3LINE INPUTS
Symetrischer Mono Lineeingang in XLR - Ausführung.
4LINE INPUTS
Unsymetrischer Stereolinee ingang in Cinch - Ausführung.
5GAIN LINE
Über diesen Gain Regler können Sie die Empfindlichkeit des Lineeingangs einstellen.
6LINE OUTPUTS
Symmetrischer Mono Ausgang in XLR – und Klinkenausführung. Die zusammengemischten Eingangssig-
nale werden vor der Endstufeneinheit abgezweigt und zu diesem Ausgang geleitet. Sie können diesen Aus-
gang beispielsweise dafür verwenden, um mit den gemischten Eingangssignalen weiteren aktive Lautspre-
cher oder Verstärker anzusteuern.
Wichtig: Dieses Ausgangssignal wird vor der Masterklangregelung und dem Mastervolumen (Regler
7, 8 und 10 bei der Revolver 8“ und 10“ Box und Regler 7,8,9 und 10 bei der Revolver 12“ und 15“
Box, der Abbildung) abgegriffen, es ist also unabhängig von diesen Einstellungen.
7VOLUME MASTER
Regeln Sie die Gesamtlautstärke der Endstufe.
8TREBLE
Mit dem Treble Regler können Sie die Höhen des Ausgangssignals jeweils um 12dB anheben oder absenken.
9MID
Mit dem Mid Regler können Sie die mittleren Frequenzen des Ausgangssignals jeweils um 12dB anheben
oder absenken. (Diese Funktion steht bei den 8“ und 10“ Ausführungen nicht zur Verfügung)
10 BASS
Mit dem Bass Regler können Sie die Bässe des Ausgangssignals jeweils um 12dB anheben oder absenken.
11 POWER
Power LED leuchtet grün wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist. Die rote Clip-LED beginnt zu blinken wenn der
Verstärker übersteuert, also bis in den clip Bereich ausgesteuert wird. Ein andauerndes Blinken dieser LED
sollten Sie vermeiden, regeln Sie dazu die Gesamtlautstärke (Regler Nr. 7 auf der Abbildung) so weit zurück,
bis die clip LED aufhört zu Blinken.

Wenn Sie an die Eingänge der Aktivbox netzgespeiste und durch Schutzkontakt geerdete Instrumente
anschließen, kann eine Brummschleife durch doppelte Erdung entstehen. Das dadurch zustande kommende
tieffrequente Brummen können Sie durch Betätigen des Ground-Lift-Schalters beseitigen.
13 AC INPUT
Schließen Sie an dieser Kaltgerätebuchse das Netzkabel an.
