Instruction Manual
Thank you for choosing the Leaf & Bean Electric
Coffee Grinder. To ensure proper operation
and to maintain the lifespan of your appliance,
please read these instructions carefully before
use.
Features
• One touch button operation for easy use
• Grinds up to 50 grams of coffee beans in
approx. 30 seconds
• Transparent lid allows you to easily check the
grind level as you go
• Stainless steel wing-blades also grind herbs
and spices
Safety First
This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure they do
not play with the appliance.
• Read all the instructions before operating
appliance and retain for future use.
• This appliance is intended for indoor
household use only.
• The supply cord should be regularly examined
for signs of damage, and if the cord is
damaged, the appliance must not be used.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by qualified persons in order to avoid
a hazard.
• Pull out from power outlet by grasping the
plug - do not pull the cord.
• Do not use an extension cord. Do not immerse
appliance, plug or cord in water or any other
liquid.
• Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces.
• This appliance is not to be operated by means
of an external timer or separate remote-
control system.
• Unplug appliance when not in use or when
being cleaned.
• Allow to cool before cleaning and storing.
• The appliance should always be used on a
hard and stable surface, such as a table or
benchtop.
• Do not use appliance for anything other than
its intended use.
• Do not use a damaged appliance.
• Caution: To prevent damage to the appliance
do not use alkaline cleaning agents when
cleaning, use a soft cloth and a mild detergent.
• Never use grinder with liquids.
• Do not use an empty grinder.
• The grinder has a maximum capacity of 50g at
one time. Do not overfill the grinder.
• Do not use grinder without lid in place as
contents may be ejected when grinder is used.
• Keep away from moving parts; always allow
the blades to stop rotating before removing lid.
• Take care when cleaning grinder as blades are
sharp.
Packaging and Recycling
The materials used for this product’s packaging
can be reused, recycled and disposed of through
specific waste streams.
• REUSE: Keep packaging to safely store or
transport your appliance, preventing damage.
• RECYCLE: Look for recycling symbols on
packaging components to identify if they are
recyclable. Check with your local authority
to find out what materials are accepted for
recycling in your area.
• DISPOSE: Look for symbols on packaging
components and dispose of materials
accordingly.
Operating your Coffee Grinder
• Clean the appliance before use. (See Care and
Storage)
• Place the coffee grinder on a stable surface,
fully unwind the electrical cord and plug into
the power point.
• Remove the lid (twist anti-clockwise) and
measure the desired quantity (maximum 50g)
of coffee beans into the lid of the grinder. The
lid when full is 50g. If grinding hard herbs or
spices we recommend not filling to maximum
level, grind these in smaller batches to prevent
overloading the grinder.
• Tip the beans into the base unit of the grinder
and refit the lid.
• Press lightly down on the lid and twist
clockwise to lock the lid into position.
• Press and hold down the button to start
grinding the coffee beans.
• When the coffee beans have reached the
desired grind (usually after approximately 30
seconds) release the pressure on the button.
• Allow the blades to stop spinning before
removing the lid to check the consistency of
the grind.
• If further grinding is required, replace the lid
and repeat the steps above. If the grinder does
not operate after replacing the lid, check that
the rim is free of coffee grounds.
• Remove the ground coffee and use, never store
ground coffee in the grinder.
• Clean and allow the base unit to cool before
storing.
NOTE: Do not operate for more than 60 seconds.
If desired grind is not achieved after 60 seconds
of continuous use allow the grinder to cool for 60
seconds before restarting.
Care and Storage
• Switch off the grinder and unplug.
• Remove the lid and wash in warm water.
Rinse and wipe dry, ensure no water is caught
inside the lid, if there is simply shake the lid to
remove. The grinder is not dishwasher safe.
• Taking care not to touch the blades with your
hands, remove any residual coffee grounds
from the base unit and lid rims using a brush.
• Allow to dry thoroughly before storing.
• Wipe the outside of the appliance with a damp
cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning agents as these
may scratch the surface.
• Never immerse base unit, electrical cord or
plug in water.
• Store the cord by winding into the cord storage
compartment in the base.

Consumer Law. You are entitled to a
replacement or refund for a major failure
and compensation for any other reasonably
foreseeable loss or damage. You are also
entitled to have the goods repaired if the goods
fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure
does not amount to a major failure.
Albi offers a 12 month guarantee on the motor and
heating (this excludes normal wear and tear or if
care and use instructions have not been followed).
During this period Albi will repair, replace or
refund a defective product. Albi asks you to
cover the cost of postage if the product needs to
be sent back to us for inspection. If Albi deems
the product is defective, we will reimburse your
postage expense. Albi will be responsible for
postage of the repaired/replacement product
back to you.
If a fault/defect is identified cease using the
product immediately. To claim on this guarantee,
take the product, proof of purchase and full
details of the alleged defect to the retailer from
whom the product was purchased. If you cannot
