correctly, if it has been dropped or damaged

the unit must not be used.

showers, basins or other vessels
containing water and do not immerse in
water or any other liquids.
7NEVER place the unit near heat sensitive
materials e.g. carpets, bedding. Use the heat
proof mat provided.

and operating.
7NEVER wind the mains cord around the
handle or barrels when hot or while storing.
7NEVER store while still connected to the mains.
7NEVER attempt repairs yourself. Repairs to
electrical appliances should only be performed
by a qualified electrician. Improper repairs
may place the user at serious risk and will
invalidate the guarantee.
7NEVER carry or suspend the appliance by the
mains cord.

IMPORTANT SAFETY POINTS
Read these instructions thoroughly before using this appliance or connecting to the
mains supply.
A 13 amp BS1362 ASTA approved fuse must be fitted.
Before switching on, make sure that the voltage of your electricity supply is the
same as that indicated on the rating plate. Connecting it to any other power
source may cause damage.
This product may be fitted with a non-rewirable plug. If it is necessary to change
the fuse in the plug, the fuse cover must be refitted. If the fuse cover becomes lost
or damaged, the plug must not be used until a suitable replacement is obtained.
If the plug has to be changed because it is not suitable for your socket, or due
to damage, it should be cut off and a replacement fitted, following the wiring
instructions shown. The old plug must be disposed of safely because inserting it
into a socket could cause an electrical hazard.
The wires in the mains cable of this product are coloured in accordance with the
following code:
Blue = Neutral Brown = Live
If the markings on the terminals of your plug do not correspond to the colours
shown of the wires in the mains cable, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured Blue must be connected to the terminal which is
marked Nor coloured Black.
The wire which is coloured Brown must be connected to the terminal which is
marked Lor coloured Red.
DO NOT connect any wires to the earth terminal.
This symbol indicates that this is a
2-core appliance is Class II and does
not require an earth connection.
Plug should be BS1363 approved.

Fit a 13 Amp fuse.
Ensure that the outer sheath of the cable is
rmly held by the clamp.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• Hair should be clean, dry and tangle free before using the product.
• Plug the appliance into a suitable mains socket.
• Ensure the voltage being used is the correct voltage for this product.
• The indicator light will glow red when the unit is switched on.
• Leave the unit on its safety stand and rest on a smooth, flat heat
resistant surface.
• Wait for a few minutes until the appliance reaches the required temperature.
• Allow unit to cool before storing away.
• Take extra care when using the curling tong as it can get very hot.
LEE’S HOT TIPS
• Before using my ARGANOIL®ULTRA LONG CHOPSTICK STYLER™,
I recommend using my ARGANOIL®FROM MOROCCO MIRACLE HEAT
DEFENCE SPRAY.
• Make sure the hair is dry and there are no knots or tangles within the hair to
avoid any snagging.
• Section the hair into manageable sections.
• Taking one of these sections, wrap the hair around the curling tong.
• Be careful not to let the appliance touch the scalp.
• To hold your style use my HoLD TiGHT HAiRSPRaY.
FOR TIGHT CORKSCREW CURLS
• Take a small section roughly 1cm wide.
• Wrap it around the barrel extremely tight with no gaps between each twist.
• Hold in place for 8 – 10 seconds and release.
• Repeat these steps around the whole of your head.
• Allow the hair to cool.
• Shake your hair out with your fingers to break up the curls and run your
fingers through each curl for more volume.

PREPARING FOR USE
• Please read and retain these instructions before operating for future reference.
• Remove all packaging and keep safe.
• For domestic use only.
• Do not allow young children to play with this product. Adult supervision is
required at all times if the product is used near young children.
OPERATION
This unit operates on a main AC 220-240VAC 50-60Hz 27W.
THE HEAT PROTECTION GLOVE MUST ALWAYS BE WORN DURING USE.
Use the heat proof mat to prevent damage to heat sensitive surfaces.

FOR LOOSE, SOFT WAVES
• Take a section roughly 3cm wide and wrap it around the barrel.
• Hold in place for 5 seconds and release.
• Repeat around the whole of your head.
• Allow the hair to cool.
• Brush out each curl with my DE-STRESS THE MESS DETANGLING COMB.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• The appliance must be unplugged before cleaning.
• Let the appliance cool down before cleaning.
• Clean the unit with a soft cloth or sponge moistened with a mild soap
and water.
• Dry thoroughly before use.
• Do not use any harsh detergents, abrasives, solvents or cleaners.
• Never immerse in water to clean.
STORAGE
• Ensure the product is completely dry, switched off and unplugged from the
mains before storage.
• Store in original box in a cool, dry place.
• Store in a safe place, away from children.
SERVICING
There are no user serviceable parts inside this appliance. Always refer servicing
to qualified service personnel. If you drop or damage your product, do not use
until it has been inspected and approved by a qualified electrician.

This product is guaranteed for twelve months from the date of original
purchase. Any defect that arises due to faulty materials or workmanship will
either be replaced, refunded or repaired free of charge where possible during
the period set by the dealer from whom you purchased the unit.

knobs or consumable items.
• The product must be correctly installed and operated in accordance with the
instructions contained in this manual.
