Hand-Held Micro Torch

The following instructions were provided by the manufacturer.
1. Center the Gas Adjustment Dial between the (-) and (+) signs.
2. Rotate the Air Adjustment Ring to half expose the air holes.
3. Using your thumb, pull down the Safety Switch. (See Figure 1.)

4. To Light the Torch:
Hold the torch in your hand and, using your thumb, press and hold down the
Ignition Button. (It may take two or three tries before the torch ignites. Each attempt
will require pulling down the Safety Switch, then pressing the Ignition Button again.)
For a Constant Flame: Before releasing the ignition button, press the
Continuous Flame Button with a finger or thumb of your free hand. (See Figure 2.)
To adjust the intensity of the flame, use the Gas Adjustment Dial and the
Air Adjustment Ring (see the Glossary of Feature.)
5. To turn the torch off, press the Ignition Button to release the Continuous
Flame Button. This will cut off the gas supply and extinguish the flame.
Filling the Gas Canister
This torch uses standard butane fuel. Fill the torch in a well-ventialted room, away from any open
flame.
Turn the torch off and make sure the flame is out.
Let the torch cool at least 5 minutes before filling the cylinder.
Hold the torch upside down and insert the can's nozzle into the Gas Filling
Valve.
Press the nozzle into the valve to release the gas. Once the gas begins to seep
out around the edge of the nozzle, the torch is full and you should remove the can.

Contains flammable gas under pressure. Do not use near sparks or open flame. Do not puncture
or incinerate container or store at temperatures above 120°F. Keep out of the reach of children.

Warning/Safety Hints
•Read the instructions carefully before operating the appliance. Keep these
instructions and read them when necessary.
•Use only butane lighter fuel.

•Do not use the appliance if it shows any damage.
•Close the taps, valves and adjusting knobs of the appliance before connection or
refilling.
•Refill the tank in a well-ventilated place, in a flame or ignition source free
atmosphere, far away from other persons. Do not smoke while refilling.
•Do not put an ignited appliance down.
•Assembly and adjustment made in the factory shall not be modified. It can be
dangerous to try to modify the adjustment or the construction of the appliance, to
dismantle some parts or to use components other than those recommended.
•Refilling by an inadequate method may lead to serious accidents.
•Verify that seals, if any, at the connections are well placed and not damaged.
•Check the hoses for damage.
•Be careful not to heat the refill containers or the refillable gas tank or burn
them.
•Do not work in an enclosed space, maintain good ventilation.
•Work only in a clean place, far away from combustible or greasy materials.
•Wear eye-protection equipment.
•Avoid breathing welding/soldering fumes.
•Allow the appliance to cool down before storing.
•Use only specified spare parts.
•Never try to repair a damaged tool.
•Do not direct the flame toward any person.
•Warning! The flame is not easily visible in the sun.

•After use, the safety lock should be engaged.
•Do not throw the appliance or the container into a fire.
•Always wear protective gloves and use proper tools to handle hot items.
•Avoid contact of flux with skin and eyes.
•Always have a fire extinguisher and a bucket of water near the torch and work
area.
•Never attempt to modify the torch construction and never use unapproved
fuels.
