Points of attention installation Disk
Tools
• Cross-head screwdriver
• Socket or open-ended spanner 10 mm
• Open-ended spanner 17 mm
• Allen key 2.5 mm (door), 3, 4 & 6 mm (swivelling base)
Installation sequence
Remove stone cladding > Position the Disk >
Ret stone cladding > Connect the Disk.
Note:
• Never move the Disk with the stone
cladding tted.
• The stone cladding is fragile.
Handle with care.
• During installation, lay the stones
down out of the way in a safe place.
Remove stone cladding
Note the position of all 7 stones.
Remove the air box closing stone.
Lift and remove the top stone. Remove the
protective cardboard.

Lift and remove the side stones. Loosen
the top bolt slightly rst. The side stones
are marked Right and Left.
Slide the top base stone out. Leave the
protective cardboard in place. Be careful not to
damage the steel edge of the base.
Lift and remove the rear stone. Loosen the
upper bolts (2 x) slightly rst.
Lift and slide the bottom base stone out.

Remove from the pallet
Remove the poker and special tools from
the base.
Unscrew the Disk from the pallet
(2 x screws).
Use protective padding when moving the stove with a hand truck.

Position the Disk
Mark the hole centre on the oor. Lines
should be no more than 20 cm long. The
minimum distance between the hole
centre and wall is 33.5 cm.
Use the special tools to determine the
exact position. Swivelling base: remove
the transport restraint rst (see swivelling
base).

Non-swivelling

Swivelling base 2 x 60°
Remove the transport restraint. The Disk
can now swivel through 2 x 60°.
Swivelling base 360°
For 360°; remove the swivel limiter and
incorporate it in an item of jewellery.
Level the swivelling base (if required)
Loosen the 4 mm socket head screws slightly (2 x).
Use the 3 mm socket head screws (3 x) to level the base.
Retighten the 4 mm socket head screws (2 x).
Level the non-swivelling base (if required)
Use the levelling feet (4 x) and tighten the
lock nuts.

Fresh air feed (option)
Swivelling base:
Mount the stainless steel stub to the air box.
Mount the stainless steel stub to the cover
plate. Connect the hose. Secure it to the
stainless steel stub if required.
Non-swivelling base:
Mount the stainless steel stub to the air box.
Connect the hose. Secure it to the stainless steel
stub if required. If the fresh air supply comes in
through the wall, do not connect the hose until
after the air box closing stone has been installed.
Ret stone cladding
Fit the base stone rst. Push until it makes
contact with the stop. The stone will nd its
way into the recess in the steel plate.
Place protective cardboard on the rst base
stone.
Place protective cardboard on the second
base stone and push it into position. Push
until it makes contact with the stop.
Remove the protective cardboard (2 x).

Fit both side stones and tighten the top bolt
in each case.
Fit the rear stone and tighten the top two
bolts.
Place protective cardboard on the top faces.
Lift the top stone into position. Lugs
determine the exact position. The stone
“clicks” into place.
Fit the air box closing stone.
Remove the
protective
cardboard.

General instructions and regulations
Installation
• To secure the warranty, the Disk must be installed by a properly qualied person employed by
a dealer recognized by Harrie Leenders Haardkachels. See leenders.nl for a current list of
addresses of recognized dealers or contact the manufacturer.
• The stove is susceptible to scratching. Handle with care.
• After installation, check the draught by burning some kindling wood.
Use
• All local regulations including those referring to national and European standards must be
observed when installing the appliance.
• Ensure there is sufcient ventilation/air supply in the room where the stove is installed.
Air extractors such as a cooker hood may cause problems due to ue gases escaping from the
stove into the room.
• The appliance is not suitable for a shared ue system.
• The appliance must be installed on a oor having sufcient bearing capacity.
• Ensure adequate access for cleaning the appliance, the ue-gas connection and the chimney.
Safety instructions
• Glass is quite susceptible to breaking and broken glass is quite sharp. Take appropriate measures.
• For general safety, we refer to the VCA guidelines.
• Note: After installation, ensure there is no inammable and/or explosion-hazardous material in or
on the stove such as a spray can, packing material and the like.
