mountedinternallywithin3metresofthedoorcontact.



Checkforcablesandpipesinthewallbeforeusingthedrill.
Makesurethecorrecttypedrillbitandscrewdriversareused.


FittingtheTransmitter

Undothe2screwsandremovethelidfromtheA
transmitterunit.

Breakoutthemostappropriatecableentry
pointinthebackbox.

Fixthebackboxtothewallwiththescrews&plugs
providedthroughthe2fixingholes“A”  A


FittingtheDoorContact

Connect2wirestothedoorcontact(seedrawingbelow).

Fixthepartwiththewirestothedoorframewith
thescrewsprovided.

Clipthewiretidilywiththeselfadhesiveclampsprovided.

Fixthemagnetparttothedoorwiththescrewsprovided.
Note:thereshouldbenomorethan10mmgapbetweenthe    
twopartsofthedoorcontactwhenthedoorisclosed.


BatteryLife

WARNING:Ifthedoorisleftopenforanextendedperiodthiswillcauseunnecessarydrainonthebatteryand
mayreduceitslifeconsiderably.

Thetransmitterbatteryischeckedonceaday,ifthevoltagefallsandstaysbelowapresetlevelfor7consecutivedaysalow
batteryalertisautomaticallytransmitted.Oncealowbatterycallisreceivedthedoorcontactshouldbereplacedwithin7days.

“Beep‐Beep”forthedurationoftheexittime.Lettheexittimeexpirethenopenthedoor,donotdisableintrudermodeonthe
Reachunit,whentheentrytimeexpiresanintruderalarmcallwillbereportedtotheControlCentre.


DeletinganIntruderDoorContactfromaReachat‐homealarmunit

Enter1670usingthekeypadontherearoftheReachunit–thefrontlightwillFLASHFASTGREENandtheunitwillannounce
“ProgramMode‐Ready”.
Enter#041andtheReachwillannounce“DeleteRadioDevice”followedbya“Beep”.
Enterthe8digitintruderdoorcontactIDtobedeleted;afterthe“Beep”press#toexit.
PressthekeytoexitProgramMode;theunitwillsounda“Double‐Beep”andthefrontlightwillreturntoSTEADYGREEN.


The8digitIDcanbefoundonalabelinsidetheintruderdoorcontacttransmitter–itwillalwaysstartwith50xxxxxx





