•Findtheroomemergencypower-off(EPO)switch,disconnectingswitch,orelectricaloutletIfanelectrical
accidentoccurs,youcanthenoperatetheswitchorunplugthepowercordquickly
•Donotworkaloneunderhazardousconditionsornearequipmentthathashazardousvoltages
•Disconnectallpowerbefore:
–Performingamechanicalinspection
–Workingnearpowersupplies
–Removingorinstallingmainunits
•Beforeyoustarttoworkonthemachine,unplugthepowercordIfyoucannotunplugit,askthecustomer
topower-offthewallboxthatsuppliespowertothemachine,andtolockthewallboxintheoffposition
•Ifyouneedtoworkonamachinethathasexposeelectricalcircuits,observethefollowingprecautions:
–Ensurethatanotherperson,familiarwiththepower-offcontrols,isnearyoutoswitchoffthepower,if
necessary
–Useonlyonehandwhenworkingwithpowered-onelectricalequipment;keeptheotherhandinyour
pocketorbehindyourback
