Important information about OLED screen and folio cover
Do ot scratch the scree with glass, tweezers, or a y other hard or
sharp objects that are ot recomme ded to use with the Thi kPad X1
Fold Ge 1.
Avoid splash a d wipe off liquids from the scree as soo as possible.
A y exte ded co tact with the scree could result i deformatio s
a d color fadi g.
Ha dle the folio cover ge tly. The folio cover is made of ge ui e
leather. It is ot removable a d is i te ded to protect the computer.
Pulli g hard will result i perma e t damage to the folio cover.

devices a d objects that may be affected by mag ets, such as credit
cards.

The LED i dicator i the power butto shows the system status of your computer.
• Blinking for three times: The computer is i itially co ected to power.
• On: The computer is o or the computer is co ected to power.

Split-screen function
The split-scree fu ctio allows you to ha dle multiple tasks simulta eously i differe t areas of the
computer scree . Select o e of followi g methods of your prefere ce:
• Tap the desktop splitter ico i the task bar to switch betwee split-scree view a d full-scree view as
show . Every time you tap the ico , a pop-up wi dow will be displayed o your scree . Choose a
preferred layout based o the pop-up messages.

• Slightly fold the computer or ope it flat to switch betwee split-scree view a d full-scree view as
show . Every time you slightly fold the computer or ope it flat, a pop-up wi dow will be displayed o
your scree . Choose a preferred layout based o the pop-up messages.
Note: Whe you slightly fold the computer or ope it flat to switch the scree layout, you ca customize
the scree behaviors by lo g pressi g desktop splitter ico .

Connect to i-Fi networks
Tap the etwork ico i the Wi dows® otificatio area, a d the select a etwork for co ectio . Provide
required i formatio , if eeded.
Connect to a cellular network
If your computer has a wireless wide area etwork (WAN) card a d a micro-SIM card i stalled, you ca
co ect to a cellular data etwork a d get o li e usi g the cellular sig al.
Note: The cellular service is provided by authorized mobile service carriers i some cou tries or regio s.
You must have a cellular pla from a service carrier to co ect to the cellular etwork.
To establish a cellular co ectio :

1. Tur off the computer. If a a o-SIM card is i stalled, skip step 1 to 3.
2. I stall a a o-SIM card as show .
3. Tur o the computer.
4. Tap the etwork ico i the Wi dows otificatio area, a d the select the cellular etwork ico from
the list. Provide required i formatio , if eeded.
Turn on the Airplane mode
Whe the Airpla e mode is e abled, all wireless features are disabled.
1. Tap the actio ce ter ico i the Wi dows otificatio area.
2. Tap Airplane mode to tur o the Airpla e mode.
Interact with your foldable PC
Your foldable PC provides you various ways to avigate the scree .
Use the touch screen
You ca avigate the scree with followi g simple touch gestures.

Your foldable PC might come with the Le ovo Fold Mi i Keyboard (model: TK008), a wireless, mag etic
keyboard with touchpad. Use the keyboard to work more easily a d effectively.
The keyboard is available as a optio . You ca purchase o e from Le ovo at https://www.le ovo.com/
accessories.
Pair the keyboard
To pair the keyboard with your foldable PC, do the followi g:
1. E able Bluetooth fu ctio o your foldable PC. You also ca e able the Swift Pair fu ctio for easy
co ectio .
2. Tur o the keyboard a d the LED i dicator is i solid gree for about three seco ds, the the LED
i dicator tur s off.
3. Press a d hold the Bluetooth key for about three seco ds u til the LED i dicator is bli ki g i
blue.
4. Place the keyboard close to your foldable PC to establish Bluetooth co ectio .
5. Follow the o -scree i structio s.
Use the keyboard in different modes
The keyboard works best with your foldable PC i both la dscape mode a d mi i clamshell mode.

otherwise the keyboard does ot attach properly.

3 Power switch: Slide the power switch to tur o or tur off your keyboard. To wake up the keyboard,
press a y key or tap the touchpad.
To check the battery power status, do the followi g:
1. Ope the Start me u a d select Settings ➙ Devices ➙ Bluetooth & other devices.
2. View the battery status i the Mouse, keyboard, & pen sectio .
4 Micro USB connector: Whe the keyboard is placed betwee the completely folded computer, the
keyboard charges automatically (for selected models). O rare occasio s, you might eed to work with your
computer a d charge the keyboard at the same time. As a alter ative, use a 5V ac power adapter a d a
Micro USB cable to charge the keyboard. Your keyboard does ot come with a 5V ac power adapter or a
Micro USB cable, prepare them by yourself.

Charge the keyboard

Put your foldable PC i the mi i clamshell mode with the camera side upward, a d the attach the keyboard
to the mag etic side as show . Fold the computer a d the keyboard charges automatically. O e four-hour
charge e ables you to use the keyboard for up to eight hours. E sure that the remai i g battery power of the
computer is higher tha 50%, otherwise the keyboard does ot charge.
The LED i dicator bli ks amber three times whe the keyboard is co ected to computer power, the the
LED i dicator tur s off.

You also ca use a 5V ac power adapter a d a Micro USB cable to charge the keyboard. The keyboard is
fully charged i about two hours.
