tips on se tting a nd using IdeaTab.

Screen lock/unlock
In standby mode, press the Pow er button to lock yo ur IdeaTab. To unlock the screen,
press the Power bu tton, and then dra g the on-s creen s lider to e nter the interface displayed
before i t locks.
Sleep/Wake
If you do not to uch the s creen for a while, IdeaTab dims its sc reen to enter sleep mode
for power saving.

You can charge your Id eaTab whether it i s on or off.
When th e batter y level falls below the th resho ld, IdeaTab will alert you with a ton e and
the battery st atus ico n will ch ange into . We recommend you p lug the AC power
adapter into your Id eaTab in the direc tion of the orange arrow as s hown above figure.
If your Id eaTab is being charged while it is o n, the bat tery status icon (loc ated on the
status bar of the sc reen) wi ll appe ar as . After the batte ry has fi nishe d charg ing, the
status bar will show the fu lly cha rged ic on .

Turning Ide aTab off
While i n standby mode, press and h old the Power butto n and the n follow the on-screen
instructions to confirm shutdown.

Camera
The camera has following func tions: photo, vide o, panorama and multi-angle etc.
Touch > Camera. Now you c an reco rd the wonderf ul mome nts of your life with
the cam era.
Touch > Gallery. Now you ca n view photos/vi deos from your I d eaTa b.
Album
You can zoom in /out a photo by d ouble -tappi ng or movi ng your t wo fingers apar t/together
while touching the scre en.

The above functions require your IdeaTa b to connect to the Internet via wirelless network.
Touch > Browser. Now you can browse th e Web and download a pplic ations.
Adding a pps/w idgets to the desk top
Tap and hold th e icon of yo ur desi red app licati on or wid get, unti l the des ktop
backgro und pat tern appears o n the scre en, and then place the icon where ver you wi sh.
Tou c h >WIDGETS. You can drag yo ur favor ite appl icatio ns and wi dgets onto the
desktop.
Tap and hold any icon on t he desk top and then drag it to your preferre d locati on or
delete i t from the d esktop.
You can conn ect Ide aTab to the PC's USB port with the c able provided f or batte ry
charging or dat a transf erring with the PC.
Installing apps and games
Transfer the APK setup file from the PC to IdeaTab, and then open i t in the file manager
on IdeaTab. The installer will run automatically.
IdeaTab supports SIM c ard and SD card extensio n. To insert SIM card and SD card, d o
the foll owing:
Step , Open the side c over.
Step , Inser t the SIM card a nd the SD card as shown in the fig ure.

Editing the desktop If your computer has an integrated Bluetooth adapter card, it can connect to and transfer
data wirelessly with other Bluetooth enabled devices, such as notebook computers, PDAs
and cell phones. You can transfer data between these devices without cables and up to
10 meters range in open space.
Bluetooth connection
The actual maximum range may vary due to interference and transmission barriers.
Wi-Fi connection
You can connect your Ide aTab to the Internet using Wi-Fi. When Wi-Fi is on, your IdeaTab
will automatically scan for Wi-Fi hotspots within range. Select the Wi-Fi hotspot you want
to connect to.
Mobile networks
You can enable/disable mobile data connection and change the network mode and
access point in Mobile data settings.
