HOW YOUR CAT & DOG REPELLER WORKS:
Once operational, your Cat & Dog Repeller becomes your
“silent sentry” to keep out unwanted cats and dogs from around your
home, yard and garden. Constantly sweeping a targeted 70˚area from
the front of the unit, once motion is sensed by the passive
infrared technology it triggers an ultrasonic siren in 5 second bursts
that you won’t hear, but dogs and cats will. The sirens are so
annoying the unwanted animals will move away from the area, and
learn to stay away as the sirens will trigger if and when the canine or
feline intruder returns. If a second movement is detected during the
first ultrasonic burst, the unit will continue to issue 5 second bursts
until no motion is detected.
• Power ON LED - confirms the unit is active and on when lit.
• TEST Button - to confirm your ultrasonic function is working, push
the Test Button while the unit is on and the ultrasonic sound
is lowered to an audible level, to confirm the unit
is working properly. Do not hold the Test Button down for more than
a short burst as the noise will become irritating to you. Once you
release the test button, the unit returns immediately to the ultrasonic
level.
• Battery Powered - requires two 9 volt Alkaline Batteries (not included).
• Optional DC Adapter Available - if power is available, an optional
outdoor rated AC Adapter with 50 ft. cord may be purchased which
would do away with the need for batteries. See the enclosed order

POWER OPTIONS:
The Cat & Dog Repeller uses two (2) 9 volt Alkaline Batteries (not
included). Batteries last approximately 2000 sound releases under
normal conditions.
TO INSTALL BATTERIES:
1. Turn knob on battery cover on back of unit counter clockwise to
remove cover.
2. Insert two 9 volt Alkaline Batteries in the correct orientation.
3. Replace battery cover and turn knob clockwise to tighten.
POWER BY (Optional) ADAPTER
There is an input jack built in to the back (bottom) of the unit for a 110
volt adapter that is available for use with the Cat & Dog Repeller. To

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Your Lentek Cat & Dog Pest
Repeller can be wall or fence
mounted. It can also stand alone.
Determine coverage area. Place
the product directly aiming
toward the area where you want
the maximum repelling effect.
See diagram to the side. The
primary ultrasonic coverage
area is within the 70 degree cone
range. If standing alone and not mounted, simply turn the direction of
the speaker to aim at the point desired. If mounted, loosen the nut on
bottom of the bracket (see parts list), aim at the point desired,
and re-tighten the nut underneath to firmly set the direction of the
ultrasonic sirens. When mounted, the rotating bracket allows
you to aim the ultrasonic sirens to cover a 70 degree target zone
over a full 180 degree area.
CONTROLS:
POWER ON/OFF SWITCH – located on the side of the unit, turns it
on or off accordingly. When On, the Red LED indicator will light.
TEST – Test Button is found on the front of the unit. To confirm the
ultrasonic function is working, press the TEST button and the sound
will be brought up to a level audible by humans. Only press if
concerned that the ultrasonic function is not working.
PIR Sensor – is located behind the white frosted plastic housing in
the front and to work correctly should not be covered by debris or
mud.
