Preparing the water test disk
Using a clean plastic cup, collect a
water sample from 12"-18" below the
surface of your pool.
Draw the water into the syringe
provided. Rinse the syringe before
each test.
On a flat even surface, hold the
syringe vertically and insert the tip
into the fill hole of a new disk and fill.
Align the D-shape in the disk to the
D-shape hub in the test chamber and
gently push it down.
Tip: When inserted correctly the plunger will stand up
straight. Press the plunger with slow pressure to fill.
Tip: Always dry off the outside of the disk completely
before putting it in the test chamber.

Filling the test disk
Press the plunger with slow, even pressure to fill the disk.
Carefully add sample water until the fourth chamber fills to
the top past the embossed fill line. It’s okay to fill past this line.
Overfilling
If the disk is overfilled, water will flow out of the overflow
hole in the center. The disk is not leaking. Dry with a
lint-free cloth before testing.
Underfilling
Do not underfill the disk. If the reagent chambers aren’t
filled entirely, the results will be inaccurate.
Air bubbles
Push the syringe slowly to avoid bubbles. If an air bubble
forms, pull the plunger back to draw the bubble out of the
disk to avoid inaccurate results. Continue the filling process.
Disk handling
Disks must be kept clean and dry all the time. Only handle
disks by the edges, and avoid touching the top or bottom.
Wet disks should be dried thoroughly with a lint-free wipe.
10-minute time limit
Disks should be filled and used within 10 minutes of opening
the package. Reseal disk package immediately and always
store disks with the package closed.

AccuBlue Home™ can evaluate up to 10 vital water chemistry parameters in a single
test. It’s suitable for testing pools and spas that use chlorine, salt, or bromine as
their primary sanitizer. The primary sanitizer you use determines which parameters
AccuBlue Home™ tests.
Regularly testing your water is key to maintaining a clean, safe, and beautiful pool.
Leslie’s recommends that pool owners test at least weekly, and more frequently
based on the number of swimmers or weather events. After running a test in the
app, clear step-by-step instructions will guide you to perfect water balance so
your pool can be clean, safe, and beautiful all year long.

Caring for your water

For best results, store the device in an area that is dry and free from strong
chemical vapors. Always store disks in a dry space at room temperature and keep
them in the bag provided. Disks must not be stored in the light.
Test disks cannot be reused, but they can be recycled. Recyclers should check with
the local authorities. Some states may require that no chemical residue remains on
the plastic or may not be able to accept plastic waste with stainless steel
mixing beads.
The optical system of the AccuBlue Home™ device must be kept clean and dry for
optimal performance. Never fill the test disk inside the test chamber and dry it
with a lint-free wipe before placing it inside. Do not allow water to enter the test
chamber or other parts of the device. Clean the exterior with a damp,
lint-free cloth.
To clean the test chamber and optic lenses, use a can of compressed air. Blow the
air into the test chamber, lid, and the bottom of the chamber, making sure to get
around the LEDs and photodiodes. Use a cotton swab dampened with window
cleaner to gently swab the LEDs and photodiode lenses. Do not use alcohol;
it will leave a thin residue over the optics when dry.
