To prevent damage to your

the light source for any length
of time.
Please note that fast changes
in lighting may trigger epilep-
tic seizures with photosensi-
tive persons or persons with
epilepsy!
Install the unit safely and ex-
pertly. If it is installed at a place
where people may walk or sit
under, it must additionally be
secured (e.g. by a safty rope;
fix the safety rope so that the
maximum falling distance of
the unit will not exceed 20cm).
•
The unit is suitable for indoor use only.
Protect it against dripping water, splash
water and high air humidity. The ad-
missible ambient temperature range is
0–40°C.
•
The heat generated inside the unit must
be dissipated by air circulation; never
cover the air vents of the housing.
•
Immediately disconnect the mains plug
from the socket
1. if the unit or the mains cable is visibly
damaged,
2. if a defect might have occurred after
the unit was dropped or suffered a sim-
ilar accident,
3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case the unit must be repaired by
skilled personnel.

Never pull the mains cable to disconnect
the mains plug from the socket, always
seize the plug.
•
When transporting the unit, always seize
its lower part. Never carry the unit by its
moving head or rotary arm.
•
No guarantee claims for the unit and no
liability for any resulting personal dam-
age or material damage will be accepted
if the unit is used for other purposes than
originally intended, if it is not safely in-
stalled or not correctly connected or op-
erated, or if it is not repaired in an expert
way.
If the unit is to be put out of oper-
ation definitively, take it to a local
recycling plant for a disposal which
is not harmful to the environment.

Introduction
Unpacking: Thank you for purchasing the TWIST-40LED
moving head wash, every fixture has been thoroughly tested and
has been shipped in perfect operating condition. Carefully check
the shipping carton for damage that may have occurred during
shipping. If the carton appears to be damaged, carefully inspect
your fixture for any damage and be sure all accessories necessary
to operate the unit has arrived intact. In the case damage has
been found or parts are missing, please contact the
manufacturer or your dealer for further instructions. Do not return
this unit to your dealer without first contacting.
Warning! To prevent or reduce the risk of electrical shock or fire, do
not expose this unit to rain or moisture.
Caution! There are no user serviceable parts inside this unit. Do not
attempt any repairs yourself; doing so will void your manufactures
warranty. In the unlikely event your unit may require service
please contact the manufacturer or your dealer.

Power Supply: Before plugging your unit in, be sure the source voltage
in your area matches the required voltage for your fixture, the model is
workable in 100-240V/50~60Hz. Please make sure your unit voltage
matches the wall outlet voltage before attempting to operate you fixture.
DMX Linking: To ensure proper DMX data transmission, when using
several DMX fixtures try to use the shortest cable path possible.
The order in which fixtures are connected in a DMX line does not
influence the DMX addressing. For example; a fixture assigned a DMX
address of 1 may be placed anywhere in a DMX line, at the beginning, at
the end, or anywhere in the middle. When a fixture is assigned a DMX
address of 1, the DMX controller knows to send DATA assigned to
address 1 to that unit, no matter where it is located in the DMX chain.

Temperature
Press the ENTER button to when the Temperature test is blink on the
display. Pressing Enter button and the display will show the temperature of
the unit. To go back to the functions without any change press the MENU
button again. Hold and press the MENU button about one second or wait
for one minute to exit the menu mode.
Pro defaults
Press the MENU button to show PRO Defaults on the display. Use the
DOWN and UP button to select the YES (run built-in program to set the
fixture to Pro defaults settings) or No., Press the ENTER button to setup.
To go back to the functions without any change press the MENU button
again. Hold and press the MENU button about one second or wait for one
minute to exit the menu mode.
How to control the unit
You can operate the unit in three ways.
1. Master/slave built-in preprogram function
2. Easy controller
3. Universal DMX controller
No need to turn the unit off when you change the DMX address, as new
DMX address setting will be effect at once. Every time you turn the unit on.
It will show TWIST-40LED on the display and move the motors to their
position and you may hear some noises for about 20 seconds. After that
the unit will be ready to receive DMX signal or run the built in programs.
Sound sense
Select Sound sense, press the enter button to confirm, present mode will
blink On the display use the down and up button to change the sound
sense from 0-100. Once the mode has been selected, press the ENTER
button to setup, to go back to the functions without any change the MENU
button again. Hold and press the MENU button about one second or wait for
one minute to exit the menu mode.
Pan Reverse
With this function you can reverse the Pan-movement.
Tilt Reverse
With this function you can reverse the Tilt-movement.
