LASERWAARSCHUWING
1. Lees aandachtig deze gebruiksaanwijzing voordat u de
laser in gebruik neemt.
2. Kijk niet in de laserstraal. De laser moet boven of onder
ooghoogte worden geplaatst.
3. De laser niet naar personen of dieren richten.
4. Niet binnen het bereik van kinderen houden.
5. Verwijder in geen geval de op het toestel aangebrachte
veiligheidsetiketten.
6. Vermijd schokken en laat het toestel niet vallen, dit kan
de laser beschadigen.
7. Laat het toestel niet achter in een explosiegevaarlijke
omgeving.
8. Gebruik steeds de koer voor het transporteren van het
instrument.
9. Reinig het toestel alleen met een zachte droge doek.
10. Probeer het toestel niet te openen of zelf wijzigingen aan
het apparaat aan te brengen.
11. Onderhoud en reparatie van het toestel mogen enkel
door een erkende serviceonderneming worden uitgevo-
erd.
Al onze apparaten worden in de fabriek gecontroleerd en
zijn perfect afgesteld. Het toestel kan echter door schok-
ken worden ontregeld of zijn nauwkeurigheid verliezen.
Controleer zelf regelmatig de nauwkeurigheid
van het toestel, in het bijzonder bij aanvang van
grote meetwerkzaamheden.
Wij wijzen alle verantwoordelijkheid van ons af
voor fouten tijdens de constructie, plaatsing,
fabricage of montage die het gevolg kunnen
zijn van een slechte werking van het toestel.
LASERKLASSE 1
Dit toestel kan zonder bijkomende
veiligheidsvoorzieningen worden gebruikt.
De bescherming van de ogen wordt normaal
gegarandeerd door de natuurlijke knipperreex van het oog.
De informatiesticker voor laserklasse 1 bevindt zich op het toes-
tel. Verwijder nooit de op het toestel aangebrachte veiligheids-
en informatiestickers.

CONTROLE VAN NAUWKEURIGHEID
BELANGRIJK:
Voordat u aan het werk gaat altijd de nauwkeurigheid control-
eren! LEVELFIX is niet verantwoordelijk voor eventuele schade
die door het gebruik van deze laser zijn ontstaan. U bent ten
allen tijden zelf verantwoordelijk voor het gebruik en de nau-
wkeurigheid van het instrument.
1. Plaats de 860H op een vlakke, horizontale ondergrond of
statief op ongeveer 30 meter van een wand.
2. Lijn de eerste as zo uit, dat deze loodrecht op de wand
staat. Laat de 860H zichzelf volledig automatisch water-
pas stellen.
3. Markeer de positie van de straal (X+).
4. Draai de laser 180° en laat de laser zichzelf automatisch
waterpas stellen.
5. Markeer de tegenoverliggende zijde van de eerste as (X-)
6. Lijn de tweede as van de 860H door hem 90° te draaien,
zodat deze as loodrecht op de wand staat. Laat de laser
zichzelf automatisch waterpas stellen.
7. Markeer de positie van de straal (Y+).
8. Draai de laser 180° en laat de laser zichzelf automatisch
waterpas stellen.
9. Markeer de tegenoverliggende zijde van de eerste as (Y-)
De 860 valt binnen specicaties als de maximale afstand tussen
de 4 markeringen minder is dan 3mm.
Is de afstand groter dan 3 mm dan moet de laser gekali-
breerd worden.
Neem hiervoor contact op met uw dealer of een door
LEVELFIX geautoriseerde service center.
DE LASER OPSTELLEN
Plaats de laser zo vlak mogelijk op een statief of oppervlak.
Druk op TOETS 1 om in te schakelen. De laser zal niveleren en
LED 1 zal groen knipperen. Wanneer de laser is genivelleerd
zal LED 1 continu groen branden en zal de laser gaan roteren.
De laser is nu klaar voor gebruikt.
Na het instellen drukt u op TOETS 4, LED 4 zal groen branden.
Er kan nu een afschot in de X-as ingesteld worden. De Y-as
zal in deze stand genivelleerd blijven. Ook zal de TILT-functie
blijven werken op de Y-as. Met TOETS 5 & 6 kan nu een afschot
naar boven of beneden op de X-as ingesteld worden.
Druk nogmaals op TOETS 4 om op de Y-as een afschot in te
stellen, LED 4 zal rood branden. De X-as zal in deze stand
genivelleerd blijven. Ook zal de TILT- functie blijven werken
op de X-as. Met TOETS 5 & 6 kan nu een afschot naar boven of
beneden op de Y-as ingesteld worden.
Druk op TOETS 3 om de manuale stand in te schakelen. LED
3 zal rood branden. De laser zal zich niet meer zelfnivelleren.
Als de manuele modus is ingeschakeld kan de laser onder een
willekeurige hoek van maximaal 50° gezet worden.
Na ongeveer 30 seconden zal de TILT-functie auto- matisch
worden ingeschakeld. TILT-LED 2 zal dan groen gaan branden.
Bij een schok of zware trillingen die de nauwkeurigheid van de
laser beïnvloeden stopt de laser en zal de TILT-LED (2) groen
knipperen. U kunt de laser weer laten roteren door op de TILT
TOETS (2) te drukken. U dient in dit geval de laser te control-
eren of deze nog op het juiste niveau is ingesteld.

ONDERHOUD GARANTIE EN AANSPRAKELIJKHEID
• Behandel meetinstrumenten met zorg.
• Reinig het toest el na elk gebruik met een zacht doekje.
• Bevochtig indien nodig het doekje met water.
• Wis het toestel zorgvuldig droog indien het nat is
geworden.
• Berg het toestel enkel op in perfect droge toestand.
• Neem de batterijen uit het toestel indien het voor langere
tijd niet wordt gebruikt.
• Gebruik geen oplosmiddelen voor het reinigen.
• Transporteer het toestel enkel in de originele opbergk-
oer.
De 860H dient elk contact met water te vermijden,
dit kan de elektrische circuits beschadigen.
Niet in het directe zonlicht laten liggen.
Niet blootstellen aan hoge temperaturen: de behuizing en
sommige kunststof onderdelen in het toestel zouden hierdoor
kunnen vervormd worden. De laser niet opbergen in extreem
koude omstandigheden, dit kan leiden tot condensatie in het
toestel en tot vochtdamp wanneer het toestel terug op bedrijf-
stemperatuur komt. Daardoor kunnen de optieken aandampen
en de elektronische aansluitingen oxideren.
BERG HET INSTRUMENT NOOIT VOCHTIG OP IN EEN
GESLOTEN KOFFER!
MOGELIJKE FOUTEN
Indien de laser foutieve maten aanduidt, kan dit te
wijten zijn aan:
• het gebruik van de laser in de buurt van glazen of
kunststof vensters.
• bevuiling/verstopping van de laservensters.
• een onopgemerkte schok of stoot op de bouw-
plaats: vandaar dat het belangrijk is om de nau-
wkeurigheid van de laser regelmatig te testen.
• grote temperatuurschommelingen : b.v. gebruik
van de laser in koude omstandigheden na
opberging in een warme omgeving. Wacht enkele
minuten om het toestel aan de omgevingstem-
peratuur aan te passen.
De garantieperiode bedraagt 1 jaar. De garantie geldt niet voor
storingen of defecten die te wijten zijn aan:
• slecht gebruik van het toestel.
• niet naleven van de in de gebruiksaanwijzing genoemde
voorschriften.
• schokken, slechte behandeling, gebruik van niet geschikte
batterijen , slechte elektrische aansluiting, enz.
Alle reparaties die niet worden uitgevoerd in onze fabriek, onze
servicelialen of door ons erkende servicebedrijven hebben tot
gevolg dat de garantie vervalt. Er wordt uitdrukkelijk op gewezen
dat wij geen enkele andere (uitdrukkelijke of stilzwijgende) ga-
rantie leveren met betrekking op de kwaliteit, verkoopbaarheid,
noch voor het gebruik van de laser voor speciale doeleinden.
CONTROLEER ZELF REGELMATIG DE
NAUWKEURIGHEID VAN HET TOESTEL,
IN HET BIJZONDER BIJ AANVANG VAN GROTE
MEETWERKZAAMHEDEN.
Wij wijzen alle verantwoordelijkheid van ons af voor fouten
tijdens de constructie, plaatsing, fabricage of montage die het
gevolg kunnen zijn van een slechte werking van het toestel vero-
orzaakt door slecht onderhoud of door willekeurige aansluitin-
gen of combinaties met andere apparaten.
GEBRUIK VAN DE ACCU
De 860H werkt met een NIMH accupakket welke aan de voor-
zijde van het instrument geplaatst kan worden. Schuif de rode
vergrendelknop volledig naar rechts om de accu uit te nemen.
Om de accu te vergrendelen schuift u de rode schuif naar de
middenpositie en om op te laden geheel naar links, de laadplug
zal dan toegankelijk zijn. Laad de accu tenminste 1 keer per 180
dagen op!
Bij te lage batterijspanning zal het batterij-indicator op het toet-
senbord rood branden. Laadt de accu altijd op met de originele
meegeleverde lader.

Het symbool met de doorgestreepte afvalbak
op wielen betekent dat, bij afdanking, het
product in de Europese Unie gescheiden moet
worden ingezameld voor recycling.
Dit geldt zowel voor het product zelf

LASER WARNING
1. Please read this user manual carefully before starting up
the laser.
2. Do not look directly into the laser beam. The laser must
be set up either above or below eye level.
3. Do not point the laser towards people or animals.
4. Keep the laser out of the reach of children.
5. Do not remove the safety labels.
6. Do not shake or drop the device as this could damage it.
7. Do not leave the device in an explosive atmosphere.
8. Always transport the laser in its case.
9. Always clean the device with a soft dry cloth.
10. Do not open the device or attempt any work on the
equipment.
11. Laser maintenance and repair must only be done by a
specialist company.
All devices are checked and shipped in perfect
condition, but should any impact occur, a device
may lose precision.
The user must regularly check the precision of
the machine, particularly before carrying out
substantial work.
Levelx company shall accept no responsibility
for problems regarding the construction,
installation, manufacture or assembly which may
result from improper use of the device.

This means that the device may be used with no additional
safety precautions.
Eyes are normally protected by aversion responses and the blink
reex.
The laser class 2 warning label is located on the device. Do not
remove any of the labels from the tool.

CHECKING THE ACCURACY
IMPORTANT!!!
Always check accuracy before starting work!
LEVELFIX is not responsible for any damage caused by the use
of this laser. You are responsible for the use and accuracy of
the instrument at all times.
1. Place the 860H on a at, level surface or tripod approxi-
mately 100 feet (30 meters) from a wall.
2. Align the rst axis so that it is perpendicular to the wall.
Let the 860H level itself fully automatically.
3. Mark the position of the beam (X+).
4. Rotate the laser 180° and let the laser level itself againy.
5. Mark the opposite side of the rst axis (X-)
6. Align the second axis of the 860H by turning it 90° so
that it is perpendicular to the wall. Let the laser level
itself again.
7. Mark the position of the beam (Y+).
8. Rotate the laser 180° and let the laser level itself again.
9. Mark the opposite side of the rst axis (Y-)
The 860 is within spec if the maximum distance
between the 4 marks is less than 3mm.
If the distance is greater than 3 mm, the laser must be
calibrated.
Please contact your dealer or a LEVELFIX authorized ser-
vice center for this.
SET UP
Place the laser on a at surface or on tripod. Press KEY 1 to
switch the instrument on. The laser will level and LED 1 will
ash green. When the laser is leveled, LED 1 will glow contin-
uous green and the laser will begin to rotate. The laser is now
ready for use.
After setting, press KEY 4, LED 4 will be green. A slope in the
X-axis can now be set. The Y-axis will remain level in this
position. Also, the TILT function will continue to operate on the
Y-axis. With KEY 5 & 6 you can now set a slope up or down on
the X-axis.
Press KEY 4 again to set a grade on the Y axis, LED 4 will be
red. The X-axis will remain level in this position. Also, the TILT
function will continue to operate on the X-axis. With KEY 5 & 6
you can now set a slope up or down on the Y-axis.
Press KEYN 3 to activate manual mode. LED 3 will light up red.
The laser is no longer self-leveling. When the manual mode
is switched on, the laser can be set at an arbitrary angle of up
to 50°.
After about 30 seconds, the TILT function will be turned on
automatically. TILT LED 2 will then light up green. In the event
of a shock or severe vibration aecting the accuracy of the
laser, the laser will stop and the TILT LED (2) will ash green.
You can start the laser again by pressing the TILT KEY (2). In
this case, you should check whether the laser is still set to
the correct level.

MAINTENANCE WARRANTY AND RESPONSIBILITY
• Handle measuring devices with care.
• Clean the device after every use with a soft cloth. If
nessesary, dampen the cloth with water.
• If the instrument gets wet, clean it and dry it carefully.
• Only put the laser away when it is completely dry.
• Remove the batteries and rechargeable batteries when
switching o the aser for a long time.
• Do not use solvent to clean the laser.
• Only transport the laser in its original case.
The 860H is not watertight or airtight.
Do not get it wet, as this may damage
the internal circuits. Do not leave it in direct
sunlight or exposed to high temperatures. The laser body and
some internal parts are made of plastic and can warp at high
temperatures. Do not store the laser in a very cold environment,
as this can cause condensation to form on the internal
parts when the laser is warmed up. This can mist up the beam
windows and cause the internal circuit boards to rust.
NEVER STORE AN INSTRUMENT IN WET
CONDITIONS IN A CLOSED CASE!
POSSIBLE ERRORS
If the measurements calculated by the laser are incorrect, this
could have been caused by:
• Using the laser near to plastic or glass windows (may give
false information).
• A dirty or obstructed beam window.
• A slight movement of the device. If this is the case, check
the precision of the device once more.
• Signicant temperature dirences: if the laser is used
in a cold environment after being stored in a warm envi-
ronment, wait a few minutes for the laser to reach room
temperature before carrying out any measurements.
The device has a two-year warranty. This warranty does not
cover breakdowns or faults which may have been caused by:
• Incorrect use of the device.
• Non-respect of the instructions described in the user-
manual.
• Ocuts, poor handling, use of unsuitable batteries, poor
electrical connections etc.
Repairs made other than by our factory, our service centres
or authorized service stations relieve our company of further
liability under this guarantee. This warranty is made expressly
in place of all other warranties, expressed or implied, with
respect to quality, merchantability, or tness for a particular
purpose.
THE USER MUST CHECK THE DEVICE
REGULARLY AND BEFORE CARRYING OUT
SUBSTANTIAL WORK.
Levelx company shall accept no responsibility for problems
regarding the construction, installation, manufacture
or assembly which may result from a machine failure due to
poor maintenance of the device or hazardous connections to
other devices.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
The 860H works with a NIMH battery pack which can be placed
on the front of the instrument. Slide the red lock knob all the
way to the right to remove the battery. To lock the battery, slide
the red slider to the middle position and to charge all the way
to the left, the charging plug will then be accessible. Charge the
battery at least once every 180 days!
If the battery voltage is too low, the battery indicator on the
keyboard will light up red. Always charge the battery with the
original charger supplied.

AVERTISSEMENT LASER
1. Lire attentivement le manuel d’utilisation avant de mettre
le laser en marche.
2. Ne pas regarder le faisceau laser dans les yeux. Le laser
doit être mis en station au-dessous ou au-dessus de la
hauteur des yeux.
3. Ne pas pointer le laser vers une personne ou vers un
animal.
4. Ne pas laisser le laser à la portée des enfants.
5. Ne pas enlever les étiquettes de sécurité.
6. Ne pas choquer, faire tomber l’appareil, cela
endommagerait le laser.
7. Ne pas laisser l’instrument dans une atmosphère
explosive.
8. Toujours transporter le laser dans son coret.
9. Toujours nettoyer l’instrument avec un chion sec et
doux.
10. Ne pas ouvrir l’instrument ou tenter une quelconque-
intervention sur l’appareil.
11. L’entretien et la réparation de l’appareil ne peuvent
êtreectués que par une société spécialisée.
Les appareils sont tous vériés et partent parfaitement
réglés, mais en cas de choc, un instrument peut perdre
de sa précision ou peut même se dérégler totalement.
Tout utilisateur doit vérier la précision de son
instrument régulièrement et en tous cas avant
tous gros travaux.
LEVELFIX n’accepte aucune responsabilité suite à des
problèmes de construction, implan- tation,
fabrication, montage qui pourraiten résulter d’un
mauvais fonctionnement de l’appareil.
CLASSE LASER 1
Cela permet d’utiliser l’appareil sans précaution de sécurité
supplémentaire.
La protection de l’oeil est normalement garantie par des répons-
es d’aversion et le réexe du clignement de l’oeil. L’étiquette
d’avertissement de la classe laser 2 se trouve sur l’appareil. Ne
retirer aucune des étiquettes apposées sur cet outil.

VÉRIFICATION DE LA PRÉCISION
IMPORTANT :
Vériez toujours la précision avant de commencer le travail!
LEVELFIX ne peut être tenu responsable de tout dommage
causé par l’utilisation de ce laser. Vous êtes responsable de
l’utilisation et de la précision de l’instrument à tout moment.
1. Placez le 860H sur une surface plane et horizontale ou
sur un trépied à environ 30 mètres d’un mur.
2. Alignez le premier axe de manière à ce qu’il soit per-
pendiculaire au mur. Laissez le 860H se mettre à niveau
automatiquement.
3. Marquez la position du faisceau (X+).
4. Tournez le laser de 180° et attendez qu’il se mette
automatiquement à niveau.
5. Marquer le côté opposé du premier axe (X-)
6. Alignez le deuxième axe du 860H en le tournant de 90°
pour que cet axe soit perpendiculaire au mur. Laissez le
laser se niveler automatiquement.
7. Marquez la position de la faisceaux (Y+).
8. Tournez le laser de 180° et attendez qu’il se mette
automatiquement à niveau.
9. Marquer le côté opposé du premier axes (Y-)
Le 860 est conforme aux spécications si la distance maxi-
male entre les 4 marques est inférieure à 3 mm.
Si la distance dépasse 3 mm, le laser doit être calibré.
Veuillez contacter votre revendeur ou un centre de service
agréé LEVELFIX.
MISE EN PLACE DU LASER
Placez le laser aussi plat que possible sur un trépied ou une
surface. Appuyez sur la touche 1 pour mettre en marche. Le
laser se met à niveau et la LED 1 clignote en vert. Lorsque le
laser est mis à niveau, la LED 1 est verte et le laser commence à
tourner. Le laser est maintenant prêt à être utilisé.
Après le réglage, appuyez sur la touche 4, la LED 4 s’allume en
vert. Vous pouvez maintenant dénir une pente sur l’axe X.
L’axe Y restera nivelé dans cette position. La fonction TILT con-
tinuera également à fonctionner sur l’axe Y. Avec les TOUCHES
5 et 6, vous pouvez maintenant dénir une pente vers le haut
ou vers le bas sur l’axe des X.
Appuyez à nouveau sur la touche 4 pour dénir une pente sur
l’axe Y, la LED 4 s’allume en rouge. L’axe des X restera nivelé
dans cette position. De même, la fonction TILT continuera
à fonctionner sur l’axe X. Vous pouvez maintenant utiliser
les TOUCHES 5 et 6 pour dénir une pente ascendante ou
descendante sur l’axe des ordonnées.
Appuyez sur la touche 3 pour activer le mode manuel. La LED
3 s’allume en rouge. Le laser ne se met plus à niveau automa-
tiquement. Lorsque le mode manuel est activé, le laser peut
être réglé sur n’importe quel angle jusqu’à 50°.
Après environ 30 secondes, la fonction TILT s’active automa-
tiquement. La LED 2 TILT s’allume en vert. En cas de choc ou de
vibration grave aectant la précision du laser, celui-ci s’arrête
et le LED TILT (2) clignote en vert. Vous pouvez à nouveau
faire rotation le laser en appuyant sur la TOUCHE TILT
(2). Dans ce cas, vériez que le laser est toujours au bon
niveau.
