III. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
!!!!! HAND WINCH IS PROHIBITED FOR LIFTING OBJECTS!!!!!
Before operating the product, read and understand all important Safety information. Basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk and injury to person and damage.
Become acquainted with the controls and proper use of the product.

Only well-instructed adults should operate the product. The product is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the product by a person responsible for their safety.
Read all the instructions before operating the product.
Keep the area clean and free
-Cluttered area invite accidents.
Observe work area environment conditions
-Do not expose the product to rain.
-Do not use in damp or wet locations.
-Ensure that work area environment is kept well lit (sunlight or artificial lifting).
Dress properly
-Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry that could be caught in moving parts.
-Rubber gloves and non-skid footwear are recommended as well as a cap to contain long
hair.
Use the most appropriate product and do not force the product.
-Do not force small product or accessory to do the work of heavy-duty product.
-Do not use the product for purposes other that those for which it is intended. The product
will do a better and safer job at it’s rated load if it is used for the purposes it was designed
for
Keep safe distance and keep children away
-Keep yourself and others at a safe distance from the work area, the product and steel cable
when it is pulling under load.
-Keep bystanders (esp. children) and animals away from the work area.
-Keep the product away from children or from their environment.
Never allow children to operate the product. Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the product.
Do not damage the cable
-Never move the product by dragging it by cable.
-Keep the cable away from heat and sharp edges.
-Do not step or roll over the product or steel cable.
-During operating, do not step over the product or the steel cable.
Safety at work
-Use both hands when transporting the product.
-Use proper protective equipment according to the work environment.
-Keep proper footing at all times and balance.
-Important: Never pull loads greater than the maximal capacity of the winch.
-Do not attempt to pull stationary of fix loads.
-Do not apply any side force on the load
-Not for lifting loads and Never transport persons
Avoid starting the product unintentionally
-The ratchet switch should always be fully engaged.

Check for damaged parts
-Before using or re- using the product, carefully Check for all parts, to determine if product
will operate properly and perform it‘s intended fiction. Any part that is damaged should be
repaired or replaced by an authorized service center.
-Check for alignment and binding of moving parts, any broken parts or mounting fixtures,
and any other condition that may proper operation.
-Regularly check the steel cable for signs of tear and wear. Replace any damage cable at the
authorized service center.
-Unless otherwise stated in the instructions, any part that is damaged should be properly
repaired or replaced by a qualified technician.
Repair the tool
-When repairs are carried out, only identical replacement part should be used to avoid
endangering the user.
-Repair the product by a qualified technician.
-Repair should be carried out by qualified technicians, using original spare parts; to avoid any
dengare for user.
Product maintenance
-Keep the product properly maintained and clean for a better and safer performance.
-Follow the instructions for lubricanting and changing the accessories.
-Inspect all moving parts and mounting bolts and nuts prior to use. Tighten if necessary.
-Keep handles dry, clean free oil and grease.
Rewind the cable
-To rewind the cable correctly, apply a slight load on the cable.
-For this purpose, hold the cable in one hand (wearing protective gloves), and rewind the
cable with other hand.
-Do not allow the cable to slip through your hand.
Attention: do not overreach and stay alert
-Keep proper footing and balance at all times
-Pay attention to what you are doing and use your common sense
-Do not use the product when you are tired, while under the influence of alcohol,
prescription medicine of drugs.
Important
-The users and/or operators are responsible for any damages or injury caused to properties
and persons.
Store idle equipment
-When not in use, product must be locked up in a dry location. Always lock up product and
keep out of reach children
Accessories.¨
-The use of any accessories, other than those recommended by the manufacturer or stated
in the instruction manual, may reset in injury or may cause damages.
Remark:
-The safety precautions and instructions given in this manual are unable to cover in detail all
the conditions and situations that may arise.
-The operator and/or user must use common sense and caution when operating the product
especially for any matter that are not referred in the above.

Special warnings when using the manual winch
There is no problem if the cable is rewound unevenly while pulling a load unless there is a pile-up of
cable a tone end of the drum. If this happens, reverse the winch to relieve the load and move the
anchor point further to the center of the vehicle.
When the job is done, we recommend unwinding the cable and then rewilding it neatly.
Never connect the hook to the cable. This could damage the cable. Always use sling or chain of a
suitable strength.
Watch your winch while it is in operation; if a vehicle is used, keep at a safe distance.
First get a few feet out to ensure the cable is not pulling just on one side.
A jammed cable can break the winch.
The winch hook must be attached to the vehicle frame.
Do not attach two hooks to the winch mounting apparatus. They must be attached to the vehicle
frame.
As the greatest pulling power is achieved on the innermost layer of the winch, it is advisable to
unwind as much cable as you can for heavy loads (remembering to leave at least 3 turns on the
drums). If this is not practical, use a snatch block and double line arrangement a neat, tight winding
prevent the cable from twisting and being pinched hen load is applied. If the cable should twisted
and pinched, unwind and then rewind a few inches of the cable. Do not use a twisted cable under
load, unwind it by hand.
Apply blocks to wheels if the vehicle is on an inline
About the cable
Before starting, make sure that the steel cable is correctly wound around the drum and the pitch is
equal to the cable diameter
Make sure the cable is in good condition and is attached properly.
Do not use the winch if the cable is worn, frayed.
Do not move the vehicle to pull load.
Please check and respect the maximum load listed on the label of winch, neglecting the capacity
marked on the hook.
If the steel cable is worn out, it must be replaced with an original or same specifications cable, by an
authorized service center. Do not replace the cable with a cable of lesser strength
About safety
Keep away from the cable pulling line. If the cable should slip or break, it would “whiplash“ along this
line.
Keep hands, clothing, hair and jewelers clean of the winch when in use
Ask another persona to help you make sure the winch is operating safety. Make sure this persona is
at a distance from the vehicle and the cable before starting the winch.
About the limits
Never exceed the pulling limits if the winch.

IV. GETTING STARTED
Mounting the winch
The winch can be mounted using the base (fig. 1 part 6.)
Put the ratchet switch on the middle position and pull out the cable, until the holes on the bottom
of the base (6) are visible.
Please the winch base on a firm and flat surface. Then use at least 3 set of 3/8¨ bolts and loping nuts
(not provided), in a triangle pattern, to fox the base on the mounting surface.
Use extra metal or hardwood board when necessary.
Ratchet switch (fig. 1 part 7)
The rochet switch (7) has 3 positions:
For T12
For T 25 (in axis 1+2)
- Higher position:
Place ratchet switch on this position for
releasing (unwinding) the cable.
Place ratchet switch on this position
for pulling (rewinding) the cable.
-Middle position:
Place ratchet switch on this position for both
releasing and putting the cable. (Warning: only
use this position when there is no load on the
cable)
Place ratchet switch on this position
for both releasing and putting the
cable (Warning: only use this position
when there is no load on the cable)
-Lower position:
Place ratchet switch on this position for pulling
(rewinding) the cable.
Place ratchet switch on this position
for releasing (unwinding) the cable.
Installing the crank handle (fig. 2)
a) insert the metal plate [a] on bolt axis
b) insert the handle [b] on bolt axis
c) Tighten with nut [c] (provided)
V. OPERATION
CHECK THE WINCH CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING AND RUNNING IT!
Use
The winch shown in this operation manual is solely for putting uses on vehicle and hauling boss and
not for professional and/or industrial applications.
Do not use it for hoisting or lifting as for this type of application hoists must couly with particular
safety requirements.
The winch shown in this operation manual is not intended for the transportation of person.
This winch must only by used to recover vehicles or to pull lorry to Loir boss from travelers.
Suggestion:
The best way to get acquainted with how the winch operates is to carry out a few test runs before
you actually need to use it.

Pay attention to the noise the winch makes during operation. It is important to recognize the
difference in sound between a light, steady pull, a heavy pull and sounds caused by load jerking or
shifting.
Operation:
1. Block the vehicle wheel to prevent rolling backwards. Put your vehicle in neutral gear. Release the
hand brake.
2. Pull out the cable (see 4.2) to require length with the crank handle. Always leave at least free turns
of cable around the spool to prevent the cable from being pulled out of the winch.
3. Before hooking the load, make sure the distance between the load and steel cable is minimal. Hook
up the load using a pulling point, tow strap or chain. Do not wrap the cable around the load and do
not hook the load directly onto cable. This could damage the load and twist or fray the cable
4. Rotate the fourth jaw sprocket in position for winding (see 4.2)
5. The operator/ user shall pull the load with care. The rope should be in the load winding tension.
6. Rewind the cable and load with the crank handle.
WARNING:
1. Do not use the winch with the vehicle in the gear or in „P“ (park break) position on as this could
damage the vehicle transmission. Chock vehicle.
2. Do not wrap the cable around the load and do not hook the load directly onto the cable. This could
damage the load and twist or fray the cable.
3. Keep hands, clothing, hair, and jewelry clear of the drum area and cable when using the winch
4. Do not use the winch if the cable is frayed, twisted or damaged.
5. Do not allow anyone to stand near the cable or in the cable pulling line. Blind the winch while it is
on. If the cable should slip of break, it could fling out.
Pulling capacity
The winch has a capacity of 540 kg (T12) or 1080 kg (T25). Applying this measurement to practical
applications, the winch can used to pull the following:
(R) Polling load - a wheeled moving vehicle of up to 540 kg (T12) or 1100 kg /T25)
(M) Marine load - a water borne craft of up to 450 kg (T12) or 1000 kg (T25).
(T)Pulling load - a load of up 180 kg (T12) or 360 kg (T25) from a dead stop on level grand
The pulling capacity reduce as the incline increases.
For example, the rolling capacity for model T 12 is reduced from 540 kg on flat grand to 90 kg on a
45°angle.
Please after to the following chart for estimated pulling capacity (rolling weight) on various inclines.

VI. Maintenance and storage
Which maintenance
1. Follow the instructions for lubricating periodically. Lubricate the cable and hook regularly with slight
of oil. Grease the gears every 6 months. Use any good quality waterproof grease.
2. Inspect periodically all parts, rope, accessories and replace them if damaged or used.
3. Have damage parts replaced by an authorized service center.
4. Check the nuts periodically and tighten then if they are released.
Storage
Product must be stored in dry location. Always lock up product and keep out of reach of children.
