Insert the butane container nozzle vertically down into the
FILLING VALVE. For best results, with pump-action several times.
(Please see Figure 2)
When the gas starts to overflow, remove the container nozzle from
FILLING VALVE immediately to stop the filling operation.
Wait at least 3 minutes to allow fuel gas to stabilize before igniting.
DO NOT OVERFILL THE GAS TANK.
Overfilling could cause igniting issues and erratic flame.
Before igniting, move the SAFETY LEVER (under the IGNITION BUTTON) to the left,
while simultaneously rotating the SAFETY LEVER in a clockwise direction until it clicks
into its place on the left side of the tool. (Please see Figure 3) Now, push the
IGNITION BUTTON for flame ignition. (Please see Figure 4) After ignition, the
SAFETY LEVER will automatically spring to the middle position.
NOTE: The flame will be extinguished and the SAFETY LEVER will spring back (to the
right) when releasing the IGNITION BUTTON before moving the CONTINUOUS
FLAME LOCK to the right to lock the flame. For temporary work, do not release the
IGNITION BUTTON until your work is finished.
Figure 1 Ensure the Continuous Flame Lock
is turned to ”OFF” position
before refilling.
