The DualTester is being provided with a
receiver. You can place this in the water
to measure whether the sound is
covering the water surface properly.
You can plug the DualTester to the
transducer-output on your LG Sonic.
It measures whether the powerbox is still
generating ultrasound and if the correct
frequencies are still used.

1.1 power on: Press and hold the power on/off button for 2 seconds
1.2 Power off: Press and hold the power on/off button for 5 seconds.
1.3 Note: Dual tester unit shuts down automatically when no
buttons are pressed for 2 minutes.
2.1 function: To test whether sound is being emitted into the water by your LG Sonic unit correctly.
To test if the ultrasound covers the whole water body.
2.2 Start test - Connect the DualTester receiver (5) to the connection number (2).
- Make sure the receiver is connected to the stick (4) appropriately.
- Use the stick to hold the receiver underwater at several places in your water body,
always make sure the receiver is aimed towards the LG Sonic unit.
- Turn on the DualTester, Press the button “mode” until the words “Transducer test” appear on the screen.
- Press the button “start”, the unit will now start measuring the sound, this may take up to 1 minute.
- The DualTester will show you the result “Pass” or “Fail”
3.1 function: To measure whether the control box is still generating ultrasound and whether
the correct frequencies are being generated.
3.2 Start test - Connect the “connector to power box” (1) to the transducer output on your LG Sonic unit.
- Turn on the DualTester by holding the Power on button for 2 seconds.
- Press the button “mode” until the words “Power boxr test” appear on the screen.
- Press the button “start”, the unit will not start measuring the frequencies,
this may take up to 1 minute.
- The DualTester will show you the result “Pass” or “Fail”
