Congratulations for buying LG KP501 – Cookie!
When you activate your mobile for the rst time, you will be
invited to do some initial conguration (set up the date,
hour, touch screen when applicable, …). The settings for
Orange World, SMS, MMS will be automatically congured.
This guide will help you to congure your device to access
Internet, your e-mail and Mobile TV.
NB: If you have purchased your device as a Mobistar Pack
in a Mobistar Center, some settings could already have
been implemented on it.

. In order to create this account, you need to access the settings menu as follows:
Click on the icon “Main Menu” Select this Tab Click on the icon “Connectivity”



. We will create the Access point & the Internet prole to access the Web. Firstly, the Access point:
Click on “Access points” Click on “Add access point”
Fill these elds with following:
Connection title: Orange World
Bearer: GPRS
Authentication: No auth
APN: mworld.be
Click on “Save” when all elds have
been lled



. Secondly the Internet prole.
Click on “Internet proles” Click on “Add prole” Change from OFF to ON
Fill these elds with following:
Title: Orange World
Use proxy: on
Access point: Orange World
Click on “Save” when all elds have
been lled

Title: Orange World
Use proxy: on
Proxy server address: 212.065.063.143
Proxy server port: 8080

. Create your e-mail account as follows:
Click on the icon “Message”Scroll down and select
“Settings”
Click on “Email” Click on “Email accounts”



Click on “Add account”. Insert your e-mail address
and your password to access
this e-mail account.
Click on “Continue” when done.
Insert your Username
Click on “Continue” when done.
Select POP3 or IMAP4 according
to your provider settings.
Click on “Continue” when done.

according to your provider
settings and click on “Continue”.
Insert gprs.mobistar.be as
Outgoing server and click
“Continue”.
SMTP authentication put on OFF
and click on “Continue”.
Insert your Account name and
click on “Continue”.



You can select “Yes” if you want to check
your e-mail already now.
If you prefer to check later, select “No”

Internet prole: Orange World
Click on “Save” when all elds have been lled
