Power ON and cleaning
1. Operation mode 2. Starting location
1. Install the Home Station after removing the
protection plastic wrap.
2. While in use (cleaning/recharging), always
keep the power cord plugged.
1. Turn the Main Power Switch on the rear-left
of main unit.
3. Starting and stopping the cleaning
2. Turn the power ON by pressing the 'Start/
Stop' button on main unit.
Be careful not to touch the main button on the unit, when
switching ON the power. Otherwise, the button may
possibly not work.
Pressing the button may turn ON the display.
Make sure to install it on a plane spot free of obstacles
within a 1.5 mdistance left-right and 2 mdistance
forward and not exposed to direct sunlight.
Keep the spare cords in order on the power cord hook.
• If the Charging Terminal has dusts on it, recharging could
fail. Clean regularly the Terminal with a dry mop.
• When putting the Robot Cleaner upside down, make sure to
put it on a soft cloth laid on the floor.
• Before turning over the main unit, remove the Dust Bin, first.
Otherwise, dusts may pour down from the Bin.

After the Robot Cleaner is turned on, press the 'Start'
button on the remote control. A melody will sound and
cleaning will begin.
Press the STOP button during the cleaning cycle to
'Stop' cleaning.

Robot Cleaner nds the Home
Station to recharge itself, if cleaning
is complete or the battery is low.
In the latter case, above, the robot
nds the areas it could not cover
and continue to work on them.
The height of a threshold the robot can climb is
max. 15 mm; with the Mop Plate attached, 5 mm.
•
With the Mop Plate attached, the height is limited
to such a level since it is required to prevent dusts
from contaminating the carpet, etc.
•
Threshold climbing height also may vary depending on the shape of thresholds.
• Precautions with Learning mode
– 'Learning Mode' is available only when the robot
starts cleaning at Home Station.
– Robot Cleaner memorizes every aspect of the
environment it was put under from when it started
cleaning at Home Station to the moment it nished
its mission.
– Robot Cleaner learns the new conditions when the
location of Home Station has been changed.
– If learning mode is recognized, voice message will
say "The learning cleaning process is complete."

Tip
Empty the Bin after cleaning is nished, and clean the
Filter once a week with a brush.
Cut off and remove the hairs twined around the Brush
with the cleaning tool along the furrows.
Clean the lens regularly with a cleaning brush.

A warning message will be given if an alien material is
found on the Brush. Please remove any foreign material.
The battery requires charging.
If the Robot Cleaner cannot nd
the Home Station manually attach
the Robot Cleaner to the Home
Station for recharging.

1. Smart Diagnosis 2. Learning Mode
• In one of the following cases, Smart Diagnosis
may not work.
– If Robot Cleaner is detached from Home
Station
– If Battery is low
– If Dust Bin is not in place
– If Mop Plate is attached
• In 'Smart Diagnosis' mode, Robot Cleaner will
move about 50 cm. Clear any object in the way
within a 1 mradius from Home Station so that
its operation is not disturbed.

Tip
Robot Cleaner is capable of diagnosing itself through
Smart Diagnosis. For any irregularity found in the
Diagnosis, contact the local LG service center.
Robot Cleaner is capable of memorizing the cleaning
environment through its Learning mode for intelligent
cleaning operation.
Mop Plate attached to the robot may sometimes blind the sensor
to cause a malfunctioning (i.e., going backward or circling in a
same spot), so attach the Plate along the lines guided.

Press the 'HOME' button on Remote Controller or main unit.
A warning message will be given if there is no Dust
Bin or Filter Cover available.
