The Intelix INT-HD70-TXWP extends HDMI, IR, and RS232 over a single solid core shielded Category 5e
or greater cable using the Valens VS010TX HDBaseT chip. The INT-HD70-TXWP supports 1080p video
signal up to 70m and 4K signals up to 4K@60Hz / 4:2:0 / 8 bit color up to 40m. The INT-HD70-TXWP
supports CEC pass through and is HDCP 2.2 compliant. 48V PoH built in allows the transmier to be
powered from a compable Intelix receiver, the transmier also has 12V DC output for powering 3rd
party device nearby.
The INT-HD70-TXWP is compable with all Intelix HDBaseT product oerings and any product that
meets the HDBaseT specicaons.

Installaon Instrucons
Quick Start
1. Connect video source to transmier HDMI IN
2. Connect display technology to receiver (not included) HDMI OUT
3. Connect transmier and receiver together with a shielded Category 6 cable
4. Connect control (oponal)
5. Apply power to receiver to power enre circuit
Connect an HDMI source device to the HDMI input on the INT-HD70-TXWP transmier using an HDMI cable that
is less than or equal to 5 meters in total length for 1080p signals and 1.5 meters for 4K@60 signals.

HDMI Output (Receiver not included)
Connect a display to the HDMI output on a compable Intelix receiver (not included) labeled HDMI OUT using
an HDMI cable that is less than or equal to 5 meters total length for 1080p signals and 1.5 meters for 4K@60
signals. It is recommended to keep the HDBaseT receiver near the display input as it is not recommended that
an acve HDMI cable be used on the HDMI output on the HDBaseT receiver.

1 8 Twisted Pair Wiring
Use TIA/EIA-568B wiring for Category 6
connecon between send and receive
units.
To ensure proper performance of the INT-HD70-TXWP, it is recommended that you use solid core, shielded Category 6
F/UTP cabling at a minimum. Category 5e F/UTP may perform well up to a certain length but may not support power over
HDBaseT reliably longer distances.
For opmized performance use the following Liberty Wire and Cable branded cabling;
Category 6 plenum; 24-4P-P-L6SH
Category 6A plenum; 24-4P-P-L6ASH
Category 6 NON-plenum; 24-4P-L6SH
Category 6A NON -plenum; 24-4P-L6ASH
When using shielded category cabling ALWAYS...
....use shielded connectors
....properly ground the category cable

Connecng IR Control
Device Control using IR
Point the device IR remote at the front of the INT-HD70-TXWP wall plate where the IR receiver is located,
IR signals will now travel through HDBaseT to a complabe HDBaseT Intelix receiver where the IR emier is
aached to the electronic / IR controllable device.
The INT-HD70-TXWP is capable of transming a uni-direconal IR signal through the HDBaseT circuit.
The INT-HD70-TXWP features a built in IR receiver on the front panel of the wall plate so an IR receiver is not
required. An IR receiver (Intelix DIGIB-EYE sold seperately) can be connected to the IR IN on the back of the
wall plate to transmit IR signals to a compable Intelix HDBaseT receiver. When using the IR funcon in this
manner, power will need to be provided as there is no power pin provided for the IR receiver on the
INT-HD70-TXWP.
To pass 3rd party IR system signals through the INT-HD70-TXWP, such as a control system, connect the TS
connector of the IR-AC coupling cable (purchased seperately) to the IR output port of the control system and
connect the TRS connector of the IR-AC cable to the IR IN port of the INT-HD70-TXWP.
Device Control from Control System
Passing IR Signals:
The INT-HD70-TXWP is capable of passing IR signals between 33 and 55 KHz. To prevent damage
to any of the electronics, the extenders should be powered o while inserng or removing any IR
components. Inserng an IR receiver into the IR IN port may damage the IR circuit for that extender.
Apply Power
Connect the included power supply to the Intelix HDBaseT receiver and lock the power supply to the power
connector by twisng the locking collar clockwise. It is not required that both the transmier and receiver be
powered simultaneously.
NOTE: You can power the INT-HD70-TXWP with an external power supply to power the wall plate locally as
well as supplying power to a 3rd party device using the 12V OUT phoenix connector on the INT-HD70-TXWP.
This requires a 12V/2A DC power supply connected to the 12V IN of the INT-HD70-TXWP and will pass through
12V/500mA to 3rd party device.
