INSTRUCTIONS
This quick user guide should be used in conjuction with the
Instruction Manual provided with your LIFESAVER®jerrycan.
FIRST USE
1Priming - Unscrew and remove pump from the
LIFESAVER® jerrycan. Fill with tap water, camp water
or water from any clean source. Screw pump firmly
back into place. Let stand for 5 minutes.
ROUTINE USE
1Caution! - When filling the LIFESAVER® jerrycan with
water take care to keep the tap area clear. Do not
unscrew tap in the field.
5Operation & Storage - Your LIFESAVER® jerrycan
will work in any orientation. As the water gets low
changing the orientation will improve the flow rate.
Protect from freezing and shocks.
2Filling - Unscrew and remove pump. Fill with water
from tap, camp, river, lake, stream or other source.
Use the cleanest water source available. This will
prolong the life of your LIFESAVER® jerrycan.
3Pumping - Turn tap off. Twist pump handle to unlock
and pump a few times. Twist pump handle to lock
closed.
4Drinking - Turn tap to open postion and clean sterile
drinking water will flow. Pump again to improve flow.
Turn tap off.
2Pump & Discard - Turn tap to open position. Untwist
pump handle and pump untill water starts to flow.
Discard first 2 litres. Your LIFESAVER® jerrycan is
ready to use.

PREMIÈRE UTILISATION
1Préparer - Dévisser
et retirer la pompe du
LIFESAVER®jerrycan. Remplir avec
de l’eau du robinet, de l’eau d’un
campement ou de l’eau de n’importe
quelle source propre. Revisser la
pompe fermement. Laisser reposer
5 minutes.
PRIMER USO
1Cebado - Desenrosque
y extraiga la bomba de
la LIFESAVER®jerrycan. Llene el
recipiente con agua del grifo, de
pozo o agua de cualquier fuente
limpia. Vuelva a enroscar la bomba
con firmeza en su sitio. Espere 5
minutos.
UTILISATION DE ROUTINE
1Attention ! - Assurez-vous
de maintenir la zone du robinet
propre lorsque vous remplissez le
LIFESAVER®jerrycan avec de l’eau. Ne
pas dévisser le robinet sur le terrain.
USO RUTINARIO
1¡Atención! - Al llenar
la LIFESAVER®jerrycan de
agua, tenga cuidado de mantener
limpia la zona del tapón. No
desenrosque el tapón en el campo.
5Utiliser et entreposer -
Votre LIFESAVER®jerrycan
fonctionnera dans tous les sens.
Lorsque le niveau de l’eau baisse,
changer d’orientation permet
d’accroître le débit. Protéger le bidon
du gel et des chocs.
5Uso y almacenamiento -
Su LIFESAVER®jerrycan
funcionará en cualquier orientación.
Cuando el nivel de agua baje, si
cambia la orientación mejorará el índice
de flujo. Proteja de los golpes y la
congelación.
2Remplir - Dévisser et retirer
la pompe. Remplir avec de
l’eau du robinet, d’un campement,
d’une rivière, d’un lac, d’un ruisseau
ou d’une autre source. Utiliser la
source la plus propre possible pour
prolonger la durée de vie de votre
LIFESAVER®jerrycan.
2Rellenado - Desenrosque y
saque la bomba. Llene el
recipiente con agua del grifo, pozo,
río, lago, corriente u otra fuente.
Use la fuente de agua más limpia
disponible. Esto prolongará la vida
de su LIFESAVER® jerrycan.
3Pomper - Tourner la
poignée de la pompe pour
déverrouiller et pomper plusieurs
fois. Tourner la poignée de la pompe
pour verrouiller.
3Bombeo - Quite el tapón.
Gire la manivela de la
bomba para desbloquear y bombee
varias veces. Gire la manivela de la
bomba para cerrarla y bloquearla.
4Boire - Tourner le robinet
sur la position ouverte et
de l’eau potable, stérile et propre
s’écoulera. Pomper de nouveau pour
améliorer le débit. Tourner le robinet
pour le fermer.
4Bebida - Gire el grifo a
posición abierta y fluirá agua
limpia, estéril y potable. Bombee de
nuevo para mejorar el flujo. Cierre el
tapón.
2Pomper et amorcer -
Tourner le robinet sur la
position ouverte. Tourner la poignée
de la pompe et pomper jusqu’à
écoulement de l’eau. Amorcer avec les
2 premiers litres. Votre LIFESAVER®
jerrycan est prêt à l’emploi.
2Bombear y desechar -
Gire el grifo a la posición
abierta. Desenrosque la manivela
de la bomba y bombee hasta que
el agua empiece a fluir. Deseche los
2 primeros litros. Su LIFESAVER®
jerrycan está lista para su uso.
