Normal Operation:
The Light & Motion Solite LED lights all have
one switch on the top of the head that controls
power. A brief button push activates “Cruise”
mode where you will nd 3 settings: High,
Medium, and Low. A single click cycles through
each of these settings.
A Read/Flash mode is available upon pressing
and holding the power button while the light
is o, a single click will cycle through Flash and
Read modes.
To turn o: hold button for one second.
Inbetriebnahme:
Die Steuerung des Lichts wird durch den Schaltknopf
oben auf dem Lampenkopf vorgenommen. Durch ein
kurzes Drücken des Schaltknopfs leuchtet die Solite auf
ihrer höchsten Lichtstufe. Durch jedes weitere Drücken
stellt sich die mittlere und niedrigste Leuchtstufe ein.
Jedes weitere Drücken führt dich erneut durch diese
Lichtstufen. Für den Lese-und Blinkmodus, drücke den
Schaltknopf bei ausgeschaltetem Licht solange bis sich
der Lesemodus einstellt. Durch weiteres Drücken, stellt
sich das Blinklicht.
Auszuschalten: Den Schaltknopf eine gute Sekunde
gedrückt halten.

Les phare LED Light and Motion SOLITE ont tous un
contrôle de puissance sur la partie haute du boitier de
lampe. Une brève impulsion active le mode « Croisière
» qui a 3 positions: Pleine puissance, demi puissance,
et basse puissante. Ces modes changent avec un clic
d’interrupteur.Un mode lec ture/ash est disponible en
pressant longuement le contrôle de puissance quand le
phare est éteint. Chaque clic supplémentaire permet de
passer du mode Flash au mode lecture.
Pour éteindre : Presser le bouton pendant une seconde.

When the battery gets to
5-10% of capacity the light
will ash and switch to a
lower setting to conserve
battery life. The light will
continue to ash a warning
every three minutes unless
you manually change the
setting.
LOW BATTERY WARNING
Always fully charge your system before its rst use. Systems are shipped only
partially charged and must be fully charged to achieve the proper run time.
The Lithium-Ion battery contained in Solite will power you through many
hundreds of rides and will serve you well if you follow these simple rules:
• Never store the battery dead. Charge it up after your ride, before storing.
• Charge before you ride if you haven’t charged it within a few days.
Lithium-Ion batteries lose charge slowly over time.
• For long term storage, be sure to charge your battery every three months.

• Obwohl der Li-Ion Akku eine langsame natürliche Entladung hat, lade
deine Urban vor der Benützung erneut auf, falls du sie einige Tage nicht
mehr benützt hast.
•Bei längerem Nichtgebrauch empfehlen wir dir, deine Solite alle 3 Mo-
nate erneut aufzuladen.
Toujours donner une pleine charge a votre système avant de vous en servir
pour la première fois. Nos Solite sont livrés partiellement chargés et doivent
être complètement chargés pour donner leur pleine autonomie.
La batterie Lithium Ion de votre Solite vous éclairera pendant des cen-
taines de voyages et vous servira très longtemps si vous suivez ces quel-
ques règles :
• Ne jamais ranger la batterie quand elle est déchargée. Chargez la après
votre voyage avant de la ranger.
• Chargez votre batterie avant de partir si vous ne l’avez pas fait depuis
quelques jours.
• Si vous rangez votre Solite longtemps sans vous en servir, assurez vous de
le charger tous le 3 mois.

Alle Light & Motion Produkte
sind mit einem Warnblinkli-
chtfunktion (bei niedrigem
Akku-Ladestand) und einem
Niederentladungs-Schutz aus-
gestattet. Ist der Akku auf eine
Ladung von 5-10% gesunken,
so stellt sich ein erstes Warn-
blinken des Scheinwerfers ein
und die Lichtstärke reduziert
sich allmählich mit dem Ziel,
die verbleibende Akkuleis-
tung optimal auszunutzen.
Das Warnblinken wird sich
alle 3 Minuten wiederholen,
sofern du nicht auf die nächst
niedrigere Stufe wechselst.

devra alors être rechar-
gée avant de fonctionner.

wird für 10 Sekunden

Sie kann nicht mehr einge-
schalten werden, bevor du
sie nicht wieder auädst.
Charging with the USB Cable
1. Plug the included USB cable into the appropriate USB port on
your computer or wall adapter.
2. Attach the Solite to the USB cable, inserting the plug into the
micro-USB charge port on the top of the battery.
3. Once the battery is attached to the USB charger - a ashing red,
amber, or green LED will illuminateon the back on the bottom left
side of the tail-light indicating the level of charge for the battery.
4. When the green LED stops flashing and remains a constant
green, this is an indication the batteryis fully charged.
The Solite will charge from depleted to full in about 5 hours.
Auaden mit dem USB Kabel
1. Stecke den USB Stecker in die entsprechende Steckvorrichtung dei-
nes Computers oder in ein herkömmliches Ladegerät mit USB Ausgang.
2. Öne den Gummideckel beim Akku (neben Lampenkopf ) und
stecke den Micro-USB Stecker ein. Achte auf die Ausrichtung des
Micro-USB Steckers.
3. Sobald deine Solite an der Spannung angeschlossen ist, zeigt die
Ladeanzeige je nach Ladestatus ein blinkendes rotes, gelbes oder
grünes Licht. Die Ladeanzeige bendet sich oben rechtsauf dem Ak ku.
4. Sobald die Ladeanzeige ein konstantes grünes Licht zeigt, ist
der Akku vollständig aufgeladen.
Bei leerem Akku dauert die Auadung in etwa 5 Stunden.
Chargement avec le câble USB
1. Brancher le câble USB inclus dans la sortie USB de votre
ordinateur ou dans une autre sortie USB disponible.
2. Brancher le câble USB sur la SOLITE en insérant la prise micro
USB dans la prise en haut du phare.
3. Quand le câble USB est branché, une LED clignotante rouge,
orange ou verte située a l’arrière en haut a droite du module
batterie, s’allume, indiquant le niveau de charge de la batterie.
4. Quand la LED verte s’arrête de clignoter et reste constante
verte, la batterie est chargée.
Une charge complète prend environ 5 heures.

Light & Motion provides warranties against manufacturer
defects for 2 years starting from the date of purchase. While
the warranty is non-transferable and does not cover failures
from misuse or battery issues beyond one year, damaged
lights can usually be repaired for a nominal fee. Proof of
purchase required for warranty support.
Returning Products for Warranty Evaluation
& Repair
Should your system malfunction for any reason, submit a
service request to the Light & Motion service department at:

We will contact you the following business day to nalize
the arrangemen ts for your repair. When returning
your system, please make sure to unplug the battery
from the light before shipping. Always package your
light so that the switch cannot be pressed accidentally
by the light moving around in the box. All warranty and
repair products should be returned, with proof of purchase
from an authorized dealer to:
