Switching on & off, brightness selection,
zooming
A twist of the bezel on your MYO turns it on/off
and adjusts the focus of the beam from spot to
ood (zooming). For MYO lights with LEDs, the
bezel is also used to select either the LEDs or the
Xenon halogen beam. From the «off» position,
turning the bezel lights the LEDs rst for energy-
efcient proximity lighting, then the Xenon
halogen bulb for powerful long-range lighting.
MYO
To increase the burn time of this single light
source lamp, you can replace the Xenon halogen
bulb with the standard bulb, which is less
powerful but more energy-efcient (see table).
MYO 3 / MYOBELT 3
The 3 LEDs are «non-regulated» for 1 level of
energy-efcient lighting.
MYO 5 / MYOBELT 5
The 5 LEDs are equipped with an electronic
current-regulating system that maintains
constant brightness, provides 3 power levels,
and has a reserve power mode that activates
automatically when the batteries are nearly spent,
giving low-level proximity lighting and greatly
extending burn time. (see diagram*).
The 3 power levels are as follows:
- OPTIMAL: ideal balance between power and
burn time
- MAXIMAL: maximum power
- ECONOMY: maximum burn time
You may select the power level most suitable
to your activity. The system is intially set to
OPTIMAL. To select the next level (MAXIMAL),
quickly turn the light on and off. Another quick
on/off switches to the ECONOMY level, then back
again to OPTIMAL, etc.
Batteries
Install AA/LR6 alkaline batteries as shown in the
diagram. Do not mix brands of batteries, or new
batteries with used.
Warning: defective or fully discharged batteries,
or water in the battery case can damage the lamp
(oxidation of the contacts).
The burn time of your lamp will be considerably
reduced when the (alkaline) batteries are cold.
The battery case on the MYO BELT 3/5 can be
worn under your clothing to keep the batteries
warm in cold environments. The LEDs often give
better light than the Xenon halogen bulb when
the batteries are cold or low.
Unlocking/locking the bezel
Your MYO will not work when the bezel is locked.
To unlock it, tilt the headpiece forward until the
pin comes out of the notch. Take care to lock the
bezel when the MYO is not in use (see diagram).
If the light accidentally turns on in your pack, the
heat produced by the Xenon halogen bulb can
damage the lamp.
In case of malfunction
Make sure the batteries are good, and that
they are properly installed with respect to their
polarity. Remove and re-install the bulb. Try the
spare bulb. Check the contacts for corrosion.
If corroded, gently scrape the contacts clean
without bending them.
If your lamp still doesn’t work, contact PETZL
After-Sales Service.
Maintenance
After use in a humid environment, remove the
batteries, the bezel, and the bulb. Allow the lamp
to dry thoroughly, keeping the battery case, bezel,
and headpiece open. Water in the headpiece or
battery case can cause the lamp to malfunction.
The LEDs cannot be dismantled. LEDs have a
very long life and do not require service.
The PETZL guarantee
This product is guaranteed for 3 years against
all faults in materials or manufacture. Exclusions
from the guarantee: normal wear and tear,
modications or alterations, incorrect storage,
damage caused by accidents, by negligence, or
by use for which this product is not intended.
Responsibility

whether direct, indirect or accidental, or for any
other type of damage arising or resulting from
the use of its products.

Une seule commande pour faire fonctionner votre
MYO, la «bague optique», interrupteur et zoom.
Pour les MYO équipées de LED, cette bague
permet de sélectionner le foyer LED ou le foyer
Xénon halogène. Le foyer LED est sélectionné en
premier pour un éclairage de proximité utilisant
peu d’énergie et en second le foyer Xénon
halogène, éclairage puissant. Le zoom permet
de régler l’éclairage Xénon halogène, faisceau
«spot» éloigné ou faisceau large. Les MYO
permettent d’optimiser votre éclairage (distance,
durée) en fonction de vos besoins.
MYO
Pour cette lampe mono foyer, vous avez la
possibilité d’augmenter votre autonomie en
remplaçant votre ampoule Xénon halogène par
l’ampoule standard moins puissante mais plus
économique (voir tableau).
MYO 3 / MYOBELT 3
Le foyer 3 LED est «non régulé». Il offre un
éclairage très économique.
MYO 5 / MYOBELT 5
Le foyer 5 LED est régulé. Le dispositif
électronique de régulation maintient un niveau de
lumière constant. Lorsque les piles sont presque
déchargées, la lumière diminue brusquement
vers un niveau d’éclairage minimum de survie
(voir schéma*).
D’autre part, ce foyer 5 LED offre 3 puissances
différentes d’éclairages au choix dans un ordre de
priorité d’usage.
- OPTIMAL : meilleur rapport puissance /
autonomie.
- MAXIMAL : puissance maximale.
- ECONOMIQUE : grande autonomie.
Vous choisissez la puissance d’éclairage adaptée
à votre activité. Cet éclairage commence toujours
par le niveau OPTIMAL. Pour sélectionner le
niveau d’éclairage suivant (MAXIMAL), éteindre
et rallumer en moins d’une seconde. On passe de
la même façon au niveau ECONOMIQUE puis de
nouveau au niveau OPTIMAL etc...
Verrouillage (Lock)
Prendre soin de verrouiller la bague optique.
Si votre lampe reste accidentellement allumée
dans un sac de transport, la chaleur dégagée par
l’ampoule Xénon Halogène peut endommager la
lampe.
Piles
Utilisez des piles alcalines. Ne pas mélanger des
piles de marques différentes, des piles neuves
avec des piles usagées.
Attention, des piles défectueuses, fortement
déchargées ou de l’eau dans le boîtier peuvent
endommager la lampe (oxydation des
contacts...).
L’autonomie des piles alcalines baisse
considérablement à basse température. Au froid
ou lorsque les piles sont usées, le foyer LED
peut éclairer plus que le foyer Xénon Halogène.
Les boîtiers piles déportés des MYO BELT 3/5
peuvent se glisser sous les vêtements pour
garder les piles au chaud. Et le poids n’est plus
sur la tête.
En cas de dysfonctionnement
Vériez les piles et le respect de leur polarité.
Retirez et replacez l’ampoule. Testez avec
l’ampoule de rechange. Vériez l’absence de
corrosion sur les contacts. En cas de corrosion,
grattez légèrement les contacts sans les
déformer. Si votre lampe ne fonctionne toujours
pas, contactez le Service Après Vente PETZL.
Entretien
Le foyer LED n’est pas démontable Les LED ont
une durée de vie très longue. De l’eau dans la
bague optique ou le boîtier à piles peut créer un
dysfonctionnement. Après utilisation en milieu
humide, retirez les piles, la bague optique et
l’ampoule. Séchez intégralement (bague optique
et boîtier ouverts).
Garantie PETZL
Ce produit est garanti pendant 3 ans contre tout
défaut de matière ou de fabrication. Limite de
la garantie: l’usure normale, les modications
ou retouches, le mauvais stockage, les
dommages dus aux accidents, aux négligences,
aux utilisations pour lesquelles ce produit n’est
pas destiné.
Responsabilité
PETZL n’est pas responsable des conséquences
directes, indirectes, accidentelles ou de tout autre
type de dommages survenus ou résultant de
l’utilisation de ce produit.

Ein- und Ausschalten, Auswahl, Zoom
Ein einziger Schalter erfüllt alle Funktionen:
der ‘optische Ring’. Für diejenigen MYOs, die
mit LED ausgestattet sind, kann mit diesem
Ring auch zwischen LED und Xenon halogen
umgeschaltet werden. Die LED Lichtquelle dient
zum Ausleuchten der näheren Umgebung bei
geringem Energieverbrauch. Xenon halogen
hingegen bietet kräftiges Fernlicht, bei höherem
Verbrauch. Mit der Zoom Funktion kann der
Xenon halogenstrahl gebündelt oder erweitert
werden. Die MYO passt sich Ihren Bedürfnissen
an: Ausleuchtung auf Distanz, Brenndauer.
MYO
Für diese Lampe mit einfachem Lichtstrahl
ist auch eine Standardbirne (statt der Xenon
halogen) erhältlich, die weniger Energie
verbraucht. Siehe Tabelle.
MYO 3 / MYOBELT 3
Die LED Lichtquelle ist nicht einstellbar. Sie
bietet eine Helligkeitsstufe, die sehr sparsam im
Verbrauch ist.
MYO 5 / MYOBELT 5
Die 5 LED Lichtquelle ist mit einer Elektronik
ausgestattet. Sie hält die Helligkeit auf gleichem
Niveau, solange bis die Batterien fast leer sind.
Sodann wird automatisch auf ‘Überlebensmodus’
umgeschaltet, (Siehe Darstellung*).
Weiterhin bietet die 5 LED Lichtquelle 3
unterschiedliche Helligkeitsstufen zum Betrieb an.
- OPTIMAL: ausgewogenes Verhältnis Helligkeit /
Brenndauer.
- MAXIMAL: maximale Helligkeit
- ECONOMIC: lange Brenndauer.
Wählen Sie einfach die geeignete Stufe für
Ihre Aktivität. Beim ersten Einschalten wird
automatisch die mittlere Stufe gewählt. Zum
Umschalten auf MAXIMAL, einfach aus-
und innerhalb einer Sekunde sofort wieder
einschalten. Auf gleiche Weise erfolgt das
Umschalten auf ECONOMIC, dann wieder
OPTIMAL, usw.
Verriegelung (Lock)
Denken Sie daran, Ihre MYO zu verriegeln,
denn beim versehentlichen Brennenlassen z.B.
im Rucksack könnte sich die von der Xenon
halogenbirne ausgehende Wärme stauen und der
Reektor beschädigt werden.
Batterien
Verwenden Sie Alkalibatterien. Mischen Sie nicht
die Batterien unterschiedlicher Hersteller, und
auch nicht neue mit alten Batterien.
Achtung, defekte oder komplett entladene
Batterien und Wasser im Batteriefach können die
Lampe beschädigen (Oxydation der Kontakte...).
Die Lebensdauer von Alkalizellen reduziert
sich erheblich unter Kälteeinwirkung. In kalter
Umgebung, oder wenn die Batterien schon etwas
entladen sind, kann die LED Lichtquelle heller
sein als die Xenon Halogen.
Das Batteriefach der MYOBELT 3/5 kann unter
der Jacke getragen werden, damit die Batterien
warm bleiben. Und auf dem Kopf ist weniger
Gewicht.
Bei Fehlfunktion
Überprüfen Sie die Batterien, und ob nicht
Plus und Minus vertauscht sind. Wechseln Sie
die Birne aus (Ersatzbirne im Lieferumfang
enthalten). Sind die Kontakte korrodiert? Wenn
ja: kratzen Sie vorsichtig, um die Kontakte
nicht zu verbiegen. Falls Ihre Lampe immer
noch nicht funktioniert, wenden Sie sich an den
Kundendienst von PETZL.
Wartung und Pege
Die LED Lichtquelle ist fest montiert.
Die LED haben eine sehr hohe Lebensdauer.
Wasser in der Optik oder Im Batteriefach kann
die Funktion beeinträchtigen. Nach Gebrauch in
feuchter Umgebung nehmen Sie die Batterien
heraus, schrauben Sie den optischen Ring ab,
und die Birne heraus. Lassen Sie alles geöffnet
komplett trocknen.
PETZL Garantie
Auf dieses Produkt gewähren wir 3 Jahre
Garantie gegen sämtliche Material- und
Fabrikationsfehler. Garantieeinschränkung:
Normaler Verschleiß, Veränderungen oder
Manipulationen , falsche Lagerung, unfallbedingte
Schäden, Schäden aufgrund von Nachlässigkeit,
sowie aufgrund einer Verwendung, für die das
Produkt nicht vorgesehen ist.

Accensione, spegnimento, selezione, zoom
Un solo comando per far funzionare la vostra
MYO, la «ghiera ottica», interruttore e zoom. Per
le MYO dotate di LED, questa ghiera permette di
selezionare il faro LED o il faro Xenon alogeno.
La prima selezione è quella del faro LED che offre
un’illuminazione ravvicinata a basso consumo
energetico, mentre la seconda selezione è quella
del faro Xenon alogeno per un’illuminazione
potente. Lo zoom permette di regolare l’intensità
luminosa del faro Xenon alogeno: fascio
luminoso profondo o fascio luminoso ampio. Le
MYO permettono di ottimizzare le caratteristiche
d’illuminazione (distanza, durata) a seconda delle
vostre esigenze.
MYO
Per questa lampada monofaro, avete la possibilità
di aumentarne l’autonomia sostituendo la
lampadina Xenon alogena con la lampadina
standard, meno potente ma più economica (vedi
tabella).
MYO 3 / MYOBELT 3
Il faro 3 LED non ha regolazione. Consente un
solo livello d’illuminazione molto economico.
MYO 5 / MYOBELT 5
Il faro 5 LED è dotato di un dispositivo elettronico
di regolazione che mantiene un livello di luce
costante. Quando le pile sono quasi scariche,
l’intensità luminosa passa immediatamente al
livello minimo d’illuminazione di sopravvivenza
(vedi schema*). Inoltre, questo faro 5 LED offre
3 diverse potenze d’illuminazione da selezionare
secondo un ordine di priorità d’utilizzo.
- Livello OTTIMALE : miglior rapporto potenza /
autonomia.
- Livello MASSIMO : massima potenza.
- Livello ECONOMICO : grande autonomia.
Potete quindi scegliere la potenza d’illuminazione
adatta alla vostra attività. L’illuminazione
comincia sempre dal livello OTTIMALE. Per
selezionare il livello d’illuminazione successivo
(MASSIMO), spegnere e riaccendere in meno di
un secondo. Con la stessa procedura, si passa
al livello ECONOMICO, poi di nuovo al livello
OTTIMALE etc...
Bloccaggio (Lock)
Ricordarsi di bloccare la ghiera ottica. Se la
lampada resta accidentalmente accesa nello
zaino, il calore generato dalla lampadina Xenon
Alogena può danneggiare la lampada.
Pile
Utilizzare pile alcaline. Non mischiare pile di
marche differenti o pile nuove con pile usate.
Attenzione, pile difettose, molto scariche o acqua
nel portapile possono danneggiare la lampada
(ossidazione dei contatti...). L’autonomia delle
pile alcaline diminuisce considerevolmente alle
basse temperature. In condizioni di freddo o
quando le pile sono consumate, il faro LED può
garantire più luce del faro Xenon Alogeno.
I portapile separati delle MYO BELT 3/5 possono
essere messi facilmente sotto gli indumenti per
tenere le pile al caldo ed eliminare così anche il
peso sulla testa.
Se la lampada non funziona
Controllare le pile e rispettarne la polarità.
Togliere e sostituire la lampadina. Provare con
la lampadina di ricambio. Vericare l’assenza di
corrosione sui contatti. In caso di corrosione,
raschiare leggermente i contatti senza deformarli.
Se la lampada ancora non funziona, contattare il
Servizio Post Vendita PETZL.
Manutenzione
Il faro LED non è smontabile.
I LED hanno una durata lunghissima. Inltrazione
d’acqua nella ghiera ottica o nel portapile può
causare il non funzionamento della lampada.
Dopo l’utilizzo in ambiente umido, togliere le
pile, la ghiera ottica e la lampadina. Asciugare
completamente (ghiera ottica e portapile aperti).
Garanzia PETZL
Questo prodotto ha una garanzia di 3 anni contro
ogni difetto del materiale o di fabbricazione.
Limitazione della garanzia : non sono coperti
dalla garanzia l’usura normale, le modiche o i
ritocchi, la cattiva conservazione, i danni dovuti
agli incidenti, alle negligenze o agli utilizzi ai quali
questo prodotto non è destinato.

Encender, apagar,
seleccionar, aplicar zoom
Un sólo mando para utilizar su MYO, el «anillo
óptico», el interruptor y el zoom. Para las
MYO equipadas con LED, este anillo permite
seleccionar el foco LED o el foco halógeno de
Xenón. En una primera posición, se selecciona
el foco LED para una iluminación de proximidad
con un bajo consumo de energía; y en una
segunda, se selecciona el foco halógeno de
xenón, de iluminación potente. El zoom permite
regular la iluminación halógena de Xenón,
entre un haz de luz «spot» alejado o un haz
de luz ancho. Las MYO permiten optimizar la
iluminación (distancia, duración) según sus
necesidades.
MYO
Para esta linterna monofoco, tiene la posibilidad
de aumentar su autonomía cambiando la
bombilla halógena de Xenón por una bombilla
estándar menos potente, pero más económica
(ver tabla).
MYO 3 / MYOBELT 3
El foco de 3 LED es «no regulado». Ofrece un
sólo nivel de iluminación muy económica.
MYO 5 / MYOBELT 5
El foco de 5 LED regulados está equipado con
un dispositivo electrónico de regulación que
mantiene un nivel de luz constante. Cuando las
pilas están casi descargadas, la luz disminuye
bruscamente a un nivel de iluminación mínimo de
supervivencia (ver esquema*).
Por otra parte, este foco de 5 LED ofrece
3 niveles diferentes de iluminación a escoger por
un orden de prioridad de uso.
-ÓPTIMO : mejor relación potencia/autonomía.
-MÁXIMO : potencia máxima.
-ECONÓMICO : gran autonomía.
Usted escoge la potencia de iluminación que se
adapte mejor a su actividad. Esta iluminación
empieza siempre por el nivel ÓPTIMO. Para
seleccionar el nivel de iluminación siguiente
(MÁXIMO), apague y vuelva a encender en
menos de un segundo. Se pasa del mismo
modo al nivel ECONÓMICO y así otra vez al nivel
ÓPTIMO, etc.
Bloqueo (Lock)
Procure que el anillo óptico quede bloqueado.
Si la linterna queda encendida accidentalmente
dentro de una bolsa de transporte, el calor
desprendido por la bombilla halógena de xenón
puede estropear la linterna.
Pilas
Utilice pilas alcalinas. No mezcle pilas de marcas
distintas, o pilas nuevas con pilas usadas.
Atención: las pilas defectuosas, muy descargadas
o la presencia de agua en la caja portapilas
pueden estropear la linterna (oxidación de
los contactos...). La autonomía de las pilas
alcalinas desciende considerablemente a bajas
temperaturas. Con el frío o cuando las pilas están
usadas, el foco LED puede iluminar más que
el foco halógeno de Xenón. La caja portapilas
separable de las MYO BELT 3/5 puede llevarse
bajo la ropa para mantener calientes las pilas.
Además se libera el peso de la cabeza.
En caso de mal funcionamiento
Verique las pilas y respete su polaridad. Retire
y cambie la bombilla. Pruebe con la bombilla
de recambio. Verique la ausencia de corrosión
en los contactos. Si existiera corrosión, rasque
ligeramente los contactos sin deformarlos.
Si la linterna todavía no funciona, póngase en
contacto con el servicio posventa de PETZL.
Mantenimiento
El foco LED no es desmontable. Los LED tienen
una vida útil muy larga. La presencia de agua
en el anillo óptico o en la caja portapilas puede
provocar un mal funcionamiento. Después de su
uso en ambientes húmedos, retire las pilas, el
anillo óptico y la bombilla. Séquelos totalmente
(anillo óptico y caja portapilas abiertos).
Garantía PETZL
Este producto está garantizado durante 3 años
contra cualquier defecto en los materiales o
de fabricación. Se excluye de la garantía : el
desgaste normal, las modicaciones o retoques,
el mal almacenamiento, los daños debidos a los
accidentes, a las negligencias y a las utilizaciones
para las cuales este producto no está destinado.

ーム機能
ミオは一つの動作で操作でき、ズームベゼル
がスイッチになります。LED付ミオは、ベゼ
ルを回すことでLEDかクセノンハロゲンバル
ブを選べます。まず、近距離を照らすエネル
ギー効率の良いLEDが点灯し、その次にパワ
ーのあるクセノンハロゲンバルブが点灯しま
す。ズーム機能は、遠くの一点を照らす光線
から、幅の広い光線まで調節できます。ミオ
ランプは、あなたのニーズに合わせて最大限
活用できます。
ミオ
光源が一つなので、クセノンハロゲンバルブ
から、それよりパワーを抑えたスタンダード
球に変えることにより、電池寿命を引き伸ば
せます。(表を参照)
ミオ3/ミオベルト3
3LEDは光量の調節機能はなく、経済的な光を
提供します。
ミオ5/ミオベルト5
5LEDは電子制御システムが付いていて一定の
光量を提供します。
電池の量がほぼ完全になくなりそうなとき、
光量は最小のサバイバルレベルに切り替わり
ます(図を参照)。
加えて、5LEDは優先度に合わせて3段階の光
量レベルに切り替えられます。
―最適レベル：光のパワーと電池寿命を長時
間継続させるために最適です。
―最大レベル：最大の光のパワーを提供しま
す。
―エコノミーレベル：電池寿命を最大限に保
ち、アクティビティに合わせ最良の光線パワ
ーを選べます。光線は常に最適レベルで点灯
し、次の最大レベルに切り替えるには瞬時に
スイッチをオン/オフに動かし、同じ操作をも
う一度行えばエコノミーレベルに切り替わり
、また最適モードに戻ります。
ロック
ベセルをロックして下さい。もしバッグの中
でスイッチが入ってしまい長時間放置された
場合、クセノンハロゲンバルブによる熱がラ
ンプにダメージを与えてしまいます。
バッテリー
アルカリ電池を使用して下さい。
メーカーの違うバッテリーや古いバッテリー
と新しいバッテリーを一緒に使用しないで下
さい。
不良バッテリーや放電したバッテリーの使用
、バッテリーケースに水が入った場合はラン
プにダメージを与える場合があるので注意し
て下さい(電池接点部分の酸化)。
アルカリ電池は低温に影響を受けやすいもの
です。低温下において、またはバッテリーが
なくなりかけた時、LEDはクセノンハロゲン
バルブよりも明るい光を提供します。ミオベ
ルト3/5のバッテリーケースは衣類の中に入れ
てバッテリーを暖められます。頭上にかかる
重さを軽減できます。
うまく作動しない場合
電池と電池の電極が正しいかどうか確認して
下さい。電球を取り替え、予備球でチェック
して下さい。電極部分が腐蝕していないか確
認して下さい。もし腐蝕していたら、電極を
曲げないように注意しながらやすりで磨いて
ください。それでもランプが点灯しない場合
はアルテリア アフターセールスサービスに連
絡して下さい。
メンテナンス
LEDは寿命がとても長いため、取り外す必要
がありません。ベゼルやバッテリーケースの
中に水が入ると作動しなくなる場合がありま
す。
湿気の多い場所で使用した場合、バッテリー
、ベゼル、バルブを取り外し、バッテリーケ
ースとベゼルを開けたまま完全に乾かして下
さい。
ペツル保証
この製品は製品不良、製造不良に対して3年間
の保証期間が付いています。しかし、通常の
磨耗や破損、製品の改造、不適切な保管、事
故や過失によるダメージ、またはこの製品の
目的でない使用方法によるダメージはこの保
証の対象にはなりません。
責任
ペツルはこの製品の使用によって起こった、
直接的または間接的な事故や、いかなるダメ
ージや怪我にも責任は負いません。
バルブ/LEDに関して
以下の項目でミオに関する光源の技術を理解
できます。ペツルのバルブは最良の質を提供
するために細かい基準に合わせて作られてい
ます。そしてそれらは個別に点検されていま
す。
スタンダードバルブ
よく知られている白熱球の原理で作動します
。フィラメントが電流により白く、熱くなり
、ガラス内部の真空の空間で光を発します。
光を発しながらフィラメントは次第に古くな
っていきます。
クセノンハロゲンバルブ
白熱球ですが、バルブ内部は圧力をかけてク
セノン/ハロゲンガスが注入されています。こ
れらのガスによりフィラメントが古くなる速
度は低下し、フィラメントの熱効率がよくな
り、さらに明るい光を提供します。
LED(発光ダイオード)
二つの電極からなるLEDと、光を導く小さい
リフレクターにおかれたエミッター(セミコン
ダクター)全体は、レンズの役割をする透明な
樹脂で覆われていて、LEDが割れにくくなっ
ています。ペツルのLEDは幅広く照らせる白
い光を放ち、近くを照らすのに理想的です。
ダイオードは熱を伴わずに光を放ち、セミコ
ンダクターは電流により活性化されほとんど
熱を持たずに白い光を放ちます。その結果バ
ッテリーが長持ちします。その他の利点とし
てLEDの寿命は事実上ほぼ無制限です。ペツ
ルのLEDは100％厳選されています。ロボッ
トが光を照らし、一つ一つLEDのテストを行
い、パフォーマンスの優れたものを選び出し
