For your own safety, please read this user manual carefully before you initially start-up.
INTRODUCTION
Thank you for having chosen a LIGHTSIDE Safety Mirrorball.
Unpack your mirrorball. Before you initially start-up, please make sure that there is no
damage caused by transportation. Should there be any, consult your dealer and do not
use the device.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
In order to ensure a safe operation, it is absolutely necessary for the user to follow the
safety instructions and warning notes written in this user manual.
Important: Damages caused by the disregard of this user manual are not subject to
warranty. The dealer will not accept liability for any resulting defects or problems.
The mirrorball must always be secured with a secondary attachment!
INSTALLATION
The installation must always be secured with a secondary safety attachment. This
secondary safety attachment must be constructed in a way that no part of the installa-
tion can fall down if the main attachment fails.
Procedure:
The mirror ball should be installed outside areas where persons may walk by or be
seated.
The mirrorball has to be installed out of the reach of people.
Caution: Mirrorballs may cause severe injuries when crashing down! If you have doubts
concerning the safety of a possible installation, do NOT install the mirrorball!
The mirrorball has to be secured via an appropriate safety chain. This chain has to be
built and constructed in a way that it can hold 12 times the weight for 1 hour without
any harming deformation.
The length of the chain must never exceed 100 cm.
Install the mirrorball chain with the screw-on chain link at the installation eyelet of the
mirrorball and tighten the xation screw.
Insert the fourth chain link of the mirrorball chain with the mirrorball in the screw-on
chain link and tighten the xation screw.

For overhead use, always install a safety chain on the mirrorball that can hold at least 12
times the weight of the installation. The safety chain must be slightly longer than the
mirrorball chain. Pull the safety chain through the attachment eyelet of the mirrorball
and in the attachment eyelet of the motor.
Make sure that the rotation of the mirrorball is never slowed down or stopped by
decoration material etc.
Make sure that no side forces can impact on the installation.
Please check in regular intervals, if the installation material (e. g. shackles, screw-on
carabines or screw-on chain links) or chain links have been deformed. Uninstall the
mirrorball immediately in such a case.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The operator has to make sure that safety-relating and machine-technical installations
are inspected by an expert after every four years in the course of an acceptance test.
The operator has to make sure that safety-relating and machine-technical installations
are inspected by a skilled person once a year.
The following points have to be considered during the inspection:
1) All screws used for installing the devices or parts of the device have to be tighly
connected and must not be corroded.
2) There must not be any deformations on housings, xations and installation spots
(ceiling, suspension, trussing).
3) Mechanically moved parts like axles, eyes and others must not show any traces of
wearing (e.g. material abrading or damages) and must not rotate with unbalances.
4) The electric power supply cables must not show any damages, material fatigue (e.g.
porous cables) or sediments. Further instructions depending on the installation spot and
usage have to be adhered by a skilled installer and any safety problems have to be
removed.
Maintenance and service operations are only to be carried out by authorized dealers.

INTRODUCCIÓN
Gracias por elegir la Bola de espejos de Lightside.
Desembale su bola de espejos. Antes de comenzar, porfavor aseguresé de que ho haya
ningun desperfecto causado por el trasporte. En el caso de que exista alguno, consulte
con su vendedor y no use el aparato.
INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
Con el n de garantizar un manejo seguro, es absolutamente necesario para el usuario
seguir las instrucciones de seguridad y notas de advertencia escritas en este manual.
INSTALACIÓN
La instalación siempre debe ser efectuada con una segunda suspensión independiente .
Este accesorio de seguridad secundario debe estar construido de una manera que
ninguna parte de la instalación puede caer si falla el accesorio principal .
Procedimiento:
La bola de espejos debe ser instalado fuera de áreas dónde personas pueden entrete-
nerse o sentarse.
La bola de espejos tiene que ser instalada fuera del alcance de la gente.
La bola de espejos tiene que ser asegurada a través de una cadena de seguridad
apropiada. Esta cadena tiene que ser fabricada de una manera que pueda llevar 12 veces
su carga durante 1 hora sin sufrir daños.
La longitud de la cadena no debe superar 100 cm .
Monte la cadena con el eslabón de de rosca en la sujeción de la instalación de la bola y
apriete el tornillo de jación.
Inserte el cuarto eslabón de la cadena con la bola de espejos en el eslabón de rosca y
apriete el tornillo de jación.

Siempre instale una cadena de seguridad en la bola de espejos que pueda contener al
menos 12 veces el peso de la instalación. La cadena de seguridad debe ser ligeramente
más larga que la cadena de la bola de espejos .
Asegúrese de que la rotación de la bola de espejos nunca se ralentiza o se detiene por el
material de decoración, etc
Por favor, compruebe regularmente , si el material de instalación o eslabones de la
cadena se hayan deformado . Si es así, desinstale la bola de espejos de inmediato.
LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
El operador tiene que asegurarse de que la seguridad de las instalaciones son inspeccio-
nadas al menos una vez al año .
Los siguientes puntos deben ser considerados durante la inspección :
1 ) Todos los tornillos deben estar correctamente jadoss y no corroídos.
2 ) No debe haber deformaciones en la caja , jaciones o partes de la instalación (techo,
abajamiento , truss ) .
3 ) No deben haber rastros de desgaste en las partes mecánicas, y no deben girar
con desequilibrios .
4 ) Los cables de suministro de energía eléctrica no debe presentar ningún daño
o desgaste.
Las operaciones de mantenimiento y servicio deben ser llevadas a cabo por
distribuidores autorizados.
