Link Plus (L2)

Range & Posioning
The wireless range of a single Link Plus should cover a
typical large house. To ensure the best performance, try
not to posion the Link next to radiators, water tanks
or very thick walls. Sing the Link as high up as possible
within your home (e.g. on the rst oor) will always
provide the best coverage.
Voice Control
You can use your voice with Siri on compable Apple
devices, with Google Assistant, and with Amazon Alexa
to issue commands to Lightwave, to control devices e.g.
“Turn the living room lights on”. See www.lightwaverf.
com for more informaon.
Control from anywhere
You can control Lightwave devices whilst away from
home using your app. You can also use automaons to
schedule devices to work automacally at mes that
you set in the App.
Expand your system
Lightwave is very exible, and you can add new Light-
wave devices to your system at any me. Other family
members can also download the App and use it to con-
trol devices on their own smartphone or tablet.
What do I need?
The Lightwave Link Plus requires mains power and a
standard wireless router with a permanent internet con-
necon in order to operate. You will also require a WiFi
enabled smartphone, tablet or PC.

Seng up the Link Plus
2.1 Aach the Ethernet cable
Take the Ethernet cable (supplied) and connect it to
any spare available LAN port on your wireless router.
Connect the other end of the cable to the Lightwave
Link Plus’ single port.

2.2 Aach the power supply
Plug in the power supply and push the Micro USB
connector into the socket on the back of the Link Plus.
The Link Plus will now enter its startup sequence and
will aempt to nd a connecon to the Lightwave
server. A solid amber light indicates that a connecon is
being aempted, and a solid green light will show once
a connecon has been established. Once the green
light appears, the Link Plus is ready to be set up on the
Lightwave Link Plus App.
2.3 Check the indicator light
The LED indicator is used to indicate the status of the
Link Plus and also to indicate if there is a problem. If
there is a problem reported, it will usually refer to an
insecure cable connecon or a server connecon
problem (see list on the right). If the Link Plus has already
been set up, the App will display details of any specic
problem; otherwise, please visit the support secon at
www.lightwaverf.com for advice.

Seng up the App
3.1 Download & open the App
Download the Lightwave Link Plus App from the
App Store. Open the App and follow the instrucons
and tutorials which will take you through the setup
procedure.
You can also use the Lightwave Web App to set up and
control your Link Plus. This is a more extensive plaorm
very suited to seng up and viewing large installs. This
can be accessed at www.lightwaverf.com.
3.2 Follow the in-app instrucons
Once your Link Plus is set up, you will be able to register
mulple smartphones or tablets to control any number
of Lightwave devices in your home.
HomeKit
You will also be able to control Lightwave devices via
HomeKit using the code below. To do this, open the
Home app on your iPhone or iPad, select the Link Plus
and manually enter the code.
Communicaon between iPhone, iPad, or iPod
touch and the HomeKit-enabled Link Plus is secured
by HomeKit technology. Controlling this HomeKit
enabled accessory automacally and away from home
requires an Apple TV with tvOS 10.3.2 or later or an
iPad with iOS 10.3.2 or later set up as a home hub.

Mise en place du Link Plus
2.1 Fixez le câble Ethernet
Prenez le câble Ethernet (fourni) et connectez-le à
n’importe quel port LAN disponible sur votre routeur
sans l. Connectez l’autre extrémité du câble au port
unique de Lightwave Link Plus.

2.2 Fixez le câble d’alimentaon
Branchez le câble d’alimentaon et poussez le
connecteur Micro USB dans la prise située à l’arrière du
Link Plus. Le Link Plus va alors entrer dans sa séquence
de démarrage et tentera d’établir une connexion au
serveur Lightwave. Un voyant orange foncé indique
qu’une tentave de connexion est en cours et un
voyant vert foncé s’ache une fois la connexion établie.
Dès que le voyant vert s’allume, le Link Plus est prêt à
être conguré sur l’applicaon Lightwave Link Plus.
2.3 Vérier le voyant
Le rôle du voyant DEL est d’indiquer l’état du Link Plus
et un éventuel problème. En général, les problèmes
sont dus à un câble mal xé ou à une mauvaise
connexion au serveur (voir la liste à droite). Si le
Link Plus a déjà été conguré, l’applicaon achera
les détails de tout problème spécique. Dans le
cas contraire, consultez la secon Assistance sur
www.lightwaverf.com pour obtenir des conseils.

Installaon de l’applicaon
3.1 Téléchargez et démarrez
l’applicaon
Téléchargez l’applicaon Lightwave Link Plus sur l’App
Store. Ouvrez l’applicaon et suivez les instrucons et
les tutoriels qui vous guideront dans la procédure de
conguraon.
Vous pouvez également uliser l’applicaon Lightwave
Web pour congurer et contrôler votre Link Plus.
Ceci est une plate-forme plus vaste très adaptée à la
conguraon et à la visualisaon de grandes installaons.

3.2 Suivez les instrucons contenues
dans l’applicaon
Dès que votre Link Plus est conguré, vous pourrez enreg-
istrer plusieurs smartphones ou tablees pour contrôler un
nombre illimité d’appareils Lightwave dans votre maison.
HomeKit
Vous serez également en mesure de contrôler les
disposifs Lightwave via HomeKit en ulisant le code
ci-dessous. Pour ce faire, ouvrez l’applicaon Maison sur
votre iPhone ou votre iPad, séleconnez le Link Plus et
entrez le code manuellement.
La communicaon entre le iPhone, le iPad, ou le iPod
touch d’une part et le Link Plus acvé par HomeKit
d’autre part est sécurisée par la technologie HomeKit.
Un Apple TV avec tvOS 10.3.2 ou une version plus
récente ou un iPad avec iOS 10.3.2 ou une version
récente congurée comme hub à domicile est
nécessaire pour contrôler automaquement et loin
de la maison cet accessoire acvé par HomeKit.

Einrichten von Link Plus
2.1 Verbinden des Ethernet-Kabels
Nehmen Sie das Ethernet-Kabel (in der Lieferung
enthalten) und verbinden Sie es mit einem verfügbaren
LAN-Port an Ihrem Drahtlosrouter. Verbinden Sie das
andere Ende des Kabels mit dem einzigen Port des
Lightwave Link Plus.

2.2 Verbinden mit der Stromversorgung
Verbinden Sie ihn mit dem Netzstrom und drücken
Sie den Micro-USB-Anschluss in die Buchse an der
Rückseite des Link Plus. Der Link Plus wird nun mit der
Startsequenz beginnen und versuchen, eine Verbindung
zum Lightwave-Server herzustellen. Ein durchgängiges
gelbes Licht zeigt an, dass versucht wird, eine
Verbindung herzustellen. Ein durchgängig grünes Licht
erscheint, wenn eine Verbindung hergestellt wurde.
Sobald das grüne Licht erscheint, kann der Link Plus auf
der Lightwave Link Plus App eingerichtet werden.
2.3 Kontrollleuchte prüfen
Die LED-Anzeige wird verwendet, um den Status
des Link Plus sowie mögliche Probleme anzuzeigen.
Falls ein Problem gemeldet wird, bezieht es sich
meist auf eine unsichere Kabelverbindung oder ein
Serververbindungsproblem (siehe Liste auf der rechten
Seite). Wurde der Link Plus bereits eingerichtet, wird
die App Details des spezischen Problems anzeigen;

verwenden, um Ihren Link Plus einzurichten und
zu kontrollieren. Dies ist eine umfangreichere

Portata e posizionamento in casa

copre una casa normale di ampie dimensioni. Per

alto possibile all’interno della casa (ad esempio al primo
piano) per oenere la copertura migliore.

Puoi usare la tua voce con Siri sui disposivi Apple

per dare i comandi a Lightwave e controllare disposivi,

Congurazione del Link Plus
2.1 Collega il cavo ethernet
Collega il cavo Ethernet (in dotazione) alla porta LAN
disponibile sul tuo router wireless. Collega l’altra
estremità del cavo alla porta di Lightwave Link Plus.

conneore Micro USB nella presa apposita sul retro

Una luce gialla ssa indica che il disposivo sta tentando
una connessione, una luce verde ssa indica che la
connessione è stata stabilita. Una volta visualizzata
la luce verde, Link Plus è pronto per essere impostato
sull’applicazione apposita Lightwave Link Plus.
2.3 Controlla la luce dell’indicatore
Le luci LED indicano lo stato di Link Plus e la presenza
di eventuali problemi. Un problema segnalato di solito
si riferisce a una connessione via cavo non sicura
o a un problema di connessione al server (vedi l’elenco
a destra). Se Link Plus è già stato congurato, potrai
visualizzare i deagli del problema specico sull’app,
oppure puoi visitare la sezione di supporto all’indirizzo
www.lightwaverf.com dove troverai preziosi consigli.

Congurazione dell’app
3.1 Scarica e avvia l’applicazion
Scarica l’applicazione Lightwave Lionk Plus App dall’App
Store. Apri l’app e segui le istruzioni e i tutorial che 
guideranno araverso la procedura di congurazione.
È inoltre possibile ulizzare l’applicazione Web Lightwave
per congurare e controllare Link Plus. Si traa di una
piaaforma più ampia, adaa a congurare e visualizzare
installazioni di grandi dimensioni. È possibile accedere
alla piaaforma tramite www.lightwaverf.com.
3.2 Segui le istruzioni in-app
Una volta impostato Link Plus, potrai registrare più
smartphone o tablet per controllare nella tua casa tu i
disposivi Lightwave che desideri.
HomeKit
Potrai anche controllare i disposivi Lightwave tramite
HomeKit ulizzando il codice qui soo. Apri l’app Home
sul tuo iPhone o iPad, seleziona Link Plus e inserisci
manualmente il codice.
La comunicazione tra iPhone, iPad o iPod touch e Link
Plus abilitato per HomeKit è garanta dalla tecnologia
HomeKit. Il controllo automaco e da remoto del
disposivo abilitato per HomeKit richiede un Apple
TV con TVOS 10.3.2 o successivo o un iPad con iOS
10.3.2 o successivo congurato come hub domesco.

Range & Posioning
El alcance inalámbrico de un único disposivo Link Plus
debería ser suciente para una casa grande normal. Para
garanzar un rendimiento ópmo, intente no colocar
el Link junto a radiadores, depósitos de agua o muros
muy gruesos. Colóquelo lo más alto posible dentro de la
vivienda (por ejemplo, en la primera planta), para que la
cobertura sea mejor.
Use su voz
Podrá ulizar su voz con Siri en disposivos compa-
bles con Apple, o bien con el Asistente de Google o
Alexa de Amazon, para enviar comandos a Lightwave
con el objeto de controlar disposivos. Por ejemplo,
“Encender luces del salón”. Vaya a www.lightwaverf.

Controle mientras esté fuera
Podrá controlar los disposivos Lightwave cuando esté
fuera de casa a través de la aplicación. Además, podrá
programar automácamente los disposivos en los
horarios que congure en la aplicación.
Expansión del sistema
Lightwave es muy exible: en cualquier momento
podrá agregar nuevos disposivos Lightwave al
sistema. Además, otros miembros de la familia podrán
descargarse la aplicación y controlar los disposivos
desde sus propias tabletas o teléfonos.
¿Qué necesito?
Lightwave Link Plus requiere una conexión a la red
eléctrica y un enrutador inalámbrico estándar con
conexión permanente a Internet. Además, necesita un
smartphone, una tableta o un PC con wi habilitado.

Congurar el Link Plus
2.1 Conecte el cable de Ethernet
Tome el cable de Ethernet (incluido) y conecte uno de
sus extremos a cualquier puerto LAN libre del enrutador
inalámbrico. Conecte el otro extremo del cable al puerto
de Lightwave Link Plus.

2.2 Conecte la alimentación eléctrica
Conecte el enchufe a la red eléctrica e inserte el
conector Micro USB a la toma de la parte posterior
del disposivo Link Plus. De este modo, Link Plus
iniciará la secuencia de arranque e intentará encontrar
una conexión al servidor de Lightwave. Si el tesgo se
ilumina de manera ja en ámbar, indicará que se está
intentando la conexión. Cuando se torne verde jo,
indicará que se ha establecido la conexión. Una vez que
se ilumine el tesgo verde, Link Plus estará preparado
para congurarse en la aplicación Lightwave Link Plus.
2.3 Compruebe la luz indicadora
El tesgo LED ene por objeto indicar el estado de Link
Plus y, además, avisar si existe algún problema. En tal
caso, normalmente suele ser una conexión de cable
deciente o un problema de conexión al servidor (véase
la lista de la derecha). Si ya ha congurado Link Plus, la
aplicación mostrará los detalles de cualquier problema
especíco. De lo contrario, consulte la sección de
asistencia de www.lightwaverf.com.
