Lightwave Link Plus L2 User manual

Link Plus (L2)
Range & Posioning
The wireless range of a single Link Plus should cover a
typical large house. To ensure the best performance, try
not to posion the Link next to radiators, water tanks
or very thick walls. Sing the Link as high up as possible
within your home (e.g. on the rst oor) will always
provide the best coverage.
Help video & further guidance
For addional guidance, and to watch a video that will
help guide you through the installaon process, please
visit the support secon on www.lightwaverf.com
Voice Control
You can use your voice with Siri on compable Apple
devices, with Google Assistant, and with Amazon Alexa
to issue commands to Lightwave, to control devices e.g.
“Turn the living room lights on”. See www.lightwaverf.
com for more informaon.
Control from anywhere
You can control Lightwave devices whilst away from
home using your app. You can also use automaons to
schedule devices to work automacally at mes that
you set in the App.
Expand your system
Lightwave is very exible, and you can add new Light-
wave devices to your system at any me. Other family
members can also download the App and use it to con-
trol devices on their own smartphone or tablet.
What do I need?
The Lightwave Link Plus requires mains power and a
standard wireless router with a permanent internet con-
necon in order to operate. You will also require a WiFi
enabled smartphone, tablet or PC.

connector into the socket on the back of the Link Plus.
The Link Plus will now enter its startup sequence and

a connecon has been established. Once the green
light appears, the Link Plus is ready to be set up on the
Lightwave Link Plus App.

Link Plus indicator light
The LED indicator is used to indicate the status of the
Link Plus and also to indicate if there is a connecon
problem (see list on the right).
Connecvity issues
A solid red LED indicates that there is no connecon
to the server. Check that the Ethernet cable is securely
connected to a spare Ethernet port on your Wi router.
If the red LED persists, please contact tech support on
0121 250 3625 or at www.lightwaverf.com.
Firmware updates
Firmware updates are over the air soware improvements
that keep your device up to date as well as providing new
features. Updates generally take 2-5 minutes. The LED
will ash amber whilst new rmware is being downloaded
and solid white during installaon. It is important not to
remove power to the device during this me.
Changing the colour of the indicator LED
The colour of the LED indicator light on the Link Plus
can be personalised or the LED dimmed using the
Lightwave App. See the App for more details.
