1. Screw o battery compartment cover (2) with integrated ON/OFF-button from casing in an anti-clockwise
direction.
2. Take o battery holder, remove exhausted batteries if necessary. Clean the device and battery contacts if

4. Observe the safety instructions regarding the handling of batteries. (See chapter: Safety instructions)
5. Replace the batteries as soon as light intensity of the device starts ceasing.
5.2 Switching on / o
1. The on-/o-button is located on the battery compartment cover (2) of the device.
2. Push the on-/o-button up to the stop to turn the device on or o.
5.3 Changing the operating mode
1. During operation you can switch between two operating modes by pushing the on-/o-button only halfway
through.
2. Push the on-/o-button up to the stop to turn on the device for the rst time. Maximum power (100%) with
the brightest light beam will be set.
3. Push the on/o-button only halfway through to reduce intensity of the light beam (25%). To go back to maxi-
mum power again, push the on-/o-button only halfway through one more time.
5.4 Zoom mechanism

reading lamp or into soft all-around lighting.
