Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the 3 Port TosLink (Optical) Digital Audio Switch This product has been designed
to provide trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a LINDY 2-year warranty and free lifetime
technical support. To ensure correct use, please read this manual carefully and retain it for future
reference.
This TosLink (Optical) digital audio switch allows the connection of 3 digital optical audio source devices
to a common output device, such as a speaker, amplifier or soundbar. It can be efficiently controlled with
an IR remote control or push button, allowing the selection of a specific channel, or the option to cycle
through active inputs.

Installation & Operation
For installation, please follow the steps below:
▪Connect an optical audio cable from each source device to each Input port on the 3 Port TosLink
(Optical) Digital Audio Switch.
▪Connect an optical audio cable from the output port on the switch to a desired digital audio output
device.

▪Connect the included 3.5mm IR receiver cable to the 3.5mm (female) port on the switch and place the
receiver in a desired location for use with the IR remote control.
▪Connect the included USB Type A to Mini-B cable to the devices’ Mini-USB port and a powered, USB
2.0 (or higher) port or a USB charger.
▪Power on audio sources and output devices
Installation is now complete.
The IR Remote control and “Select” button on the switch can be used to change the current source device.
Simply press the push button to cycle through source content or select “1”, “2” or “3” on the IR remote
control.

Diese TosLink (Optisch) Digitalen Audioumschaltern ermöglicht den Anschluss von 3 digitalen optischen
Audio-Quellgeräten an ein gemeinsames Ausgabegerät wie Lautsprecher, Verstärker oder Soundbars.
Die Bedienung erfolgt mittels einer IR-Fernbedienung oder per Druckschalter. Es ist möglich einen
spezifischen Kanal auszuwählen oder zwischen aktiven Eingängen zu wechseln.

Installation & Bedienung
Zur Installation beachten Sie bitte die folgenden Anweisungen:
•Verbinden Sie ein optisches Audiokabel von drei Quellgerät mit den Eingangs-Ports des TosLink
(Optisch) Digitalen Audioumschalters.

•Schließen Sie das beiliegende 3.5mm IR-Empfängerkabel an der 3.5mm Eingangs-Buchse am
Umschalter an und platzieren Sie den Empfänger an der gewünschten Stelle zur Nutzung mit der
IR-Fernbedienung.
•Schließen Sie das beiliegende USB-Kabel Typ A zu Mini-B an den Mini-USB-Anschluss des
Umschalters an und an einen mit Strom versorgten USB 2.0- (oder höher) Anschluss oder an ein
USB-Ladegerät.
•Schalten Sie die Audioquellen und Ausgabegeräte ein.
Die Installation ist nun abgeschlossen.
Die IR-Fernbedienung und der „Select“-Knopf am Umschalter können zum Umschalten zwischen den
Quellgeräten verwendet werden. Drücken Sie einfach den Knopf oder wählen Sie „1“, „2“ oder „3 auf der
Fernbedienung, um zwischen den Quellen zu wechseln.

Installation & Utilisation
Pour l’installation, merci de suivre les étapes suivantes:
•Connectez un câble audio optique de chaque appareil source aux ports d'entrée 1, 2 et 3 du
commutateur audio numérique TosLink (optique) à 3 ports.

•Connectez un câble audio optique du port de sortie du commutateur à un dispositif de sortie
audio numérique souhaité.
•Connectez le câble récepteur IR 3.5 mm fourni au port 3.5 mm (femelle) du commutateur et
placez le récepteur à l'endroit souhaité pour l'utiliser avec la télécommande IR.
•Connectez le câble USB Type A à Mini-B fourni au port Mini-USB de l'appareil et à un port USB
2.0 (ou supérieur) alimenté ou à un chargeur USB.
•Mettez sous tension les sources audio et les dispositifs de sortie
L’installation est à présent terminée.
La télécommande IR et le bouton "Select" de l'interrupteur peuvent être utilisés pour changer l'appareil
source. Il suffit d'appuyer sur le bouton-poussoir pour faire défiler le contenu de la source ou de
sélectionner "1", "2" ou "3" sur la télécommande IR.

Installazione & Utilizzo
Per l’installazione seguire i seguenti passaggi:
•Collegare una sorgente audio ad ogni ingresso dello switch utilizzando dei cavi TosLink (ottico)
•Collegare la periferica audio all’uscita dello switch utilizzando un cavo TosLink (ottico)
•Collegare il cavo ricevitore IR da 3.5mm alla porta 3.5mm (femmina) dello switch e posizionare il
ricevitore nella posizione desiderata in modo che sia visibile dal telecomando IR
•Collegare il cavo USB Tipo A a Mini-B alla porta Mini USB dello splitter ed alimentarlo
collegandolo ad una porta USB 2.0 (o superiore) o ad un alimentatore USB

•Alimentare la sorgente e i dispositivi audio
L‘installazione è completa.
Il telecomando IR e il pulsante “Select” sullo switch servono per cambiare la sorgente da visualizzare.
Basta premere il pulsante per scorrere tra le sorgenti attive oppure premere i pulsanti “1”, “2” o “3” sul
telecomando IR.

In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and recycling of all waste electrical
and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away electrical and electronic equipment. Instead,
these products must enter the recycling process.
Each individual EU member state has implemented the WEEE regulations into national law in slightly different ways.
Please follow your national law when you want to dispose of any electrical or electronic products. More details can
be obtained from your national WEEE recycling agency.
Battery Remark:
Do not put empty batteries in your domestic waste bin as they will not be recycled. Empty batteries can be returned
for recycling at our trade counter or at your local household recycling centre.
The raw materials enclosed in batteries such as Zinc, Iron and Nickel can be reused to a very large proportion. The
recycling of batteries and disused/obsolete electronic equipment is one of the most efficient environment protection
actions you can easily take.
