INSTALL, OPERATE OR SERVICE THE LITTLE GIANT PUMP.
KNOW THE PUMP APPLICATION, LIMITATIONS, AND
POTENTIAL HAZARDS. PROTECT YOURSELF AND OTHERS
BY OBSERVING ALL SAFETY INFORMATION. FAILURE TO
COMPLY WITH INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN PERSONAL
INJURY AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE! RETAIN INSTRUCTIONS
FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
SAFETY GUIDELINES
1. Make certain that the unit is disconnected from the power
source before attempting to service or remove any compo-
nent.
2. Do not use to pump flammable or explosive fluids such as
gasoline, fuel oil, kerosene, etc. Do not use in explosive atmo-
spheres. Pump should only be used with liquids compatible
with pump component materials.
3. Do not handle pump with wet hands or when standing on a
wet or damp surface or in water.
4. This pump is supplied with a grounding conductor and/or
grounding type attachment plug. To reduce the risk of electric
shock be certain that it is connected to a properly grounded
grounding type receptacle.
5. The National Electric Code (in the USA) and similar codes in
other countries require a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI)
to be installed in the branch circuit supplying fountain equip-
ment rated above 15 volts. Little Giant recommends that each
pump be used with a GFCI.
6. Do not allow children or infants to play near the fountain due
to drowning hazard.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove fountain assembly and all packaging from box and
place on a smooth flat surface. Please note that suction cups
and adapter are not required for this application and therefore
not included.
2. Remove jug from kettle.
3. Locate flexible tubing on the jug and connect tube to electric
pump.

Feed the electrical plug through the center hole at the top of
the kettle and then through the overfill hole at the base of the
kettle,

NOTE: Check to make sure drain tubing is secure for the side
flower pots.
4. Fill the inside of the kettle with water, ensuring the electric pump
is fully immersed.
5. Seat jug on the kettle in its location hole.
6. Plug in electric pump and allow 10 seconds for the jug to fill
with water.
7. NOTE: Planter cells have a drain to the overfill hole at base
of kettle. Do not put water in this area if used indoors.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
1. Check the pump label for proper voltage required. Do not
connect to voltage other than that shown.
2. If pump is supplied with a 3-prong electrical plug, the third
prong is to ground the pump to prevent possible electrical
shock hazard. DO NOT REMOVE the third prong from the
plug. A separate branch circuit is recommended. Do not use
an extension cord. Do not cut plug from the cord. If the plug is
cut or the cord is shortened, then this action will void the war-
ranty.
3. There is an adjustment on the pump to regulate the flow of
water.
MAINTENTANCE
• Do not allow the pump to run without water or allow to
freeze.
• Clean fountain out only with water. DO NOT USE BLEACH.
It may tarnish the applied finish.
TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM CORRECTIVE ACTION
Pump is not working. Check power outlet. Refer to manu-
facturer’s instructions.
Pump is working but
water is not flowing.
Check for kinks in the tube. Make
sure pump is submerged. Make sure
pump is free of debris and the impeller
runs freely by cleaning the inside of
the pump.
WARRANTY
One year limited warranty from date of purchase. Contact the
manufacturer for all warranty details.
