LIVERYMAN FLARE TRIMMER
The Liveryman rechargeable Flare trimmer is designed for light use. It
is lightweight, quiet and simple to operate, complete with snap on
blades. The DC motor is powered by a nickel metal hydride battery.

The Liveryman rechargeable Flare trimmer is designed for light use. It is
lightweight, quiet and simple to operate, complete with snap on blades. The DC
motor is powered by a nickel metal hydride battery.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
CHARGING
1. Switch off trimmer
2. Connect the DC plug to the trimmer
3. Connect the adapter to the wall socket and switch on
4. Check the charging indicator. When the indicator light on the trimmer is lit the unit is charging
5. When the trimmer is fully charged, simply switch off and unplug the adapter unit
6. The charging time should not exceed 24 hours or the life of the battery will be shortened
7. Recharge : 5 hours (approximately 45 minutes use - depending on thickness of coat)
8. The trimmer uses size AA 1.2 volt nickel metal hydride batteries
9. It is normal for the adapter and the internal parts to become warm when charging.
CAUTION:
**** Charge in room temperature range 5°c and 40°c
**** Always switch off and unplug the adapter from wall socket after use
OPERATION:
1. The blade must be lubricated before and after each use, as this will maintain it in good condition and will extend
its service life
2. Always make sure the animal has clean and dry hair before trimming
3. Should the blades overheat, switch the unit off for a few minutes to let it cool down and lubricate the blades
4. Use the spacing combs for hair length variation
5. Hair may store up inside the blade housing during use. Too much stored hair will reduce the trimmers cutting ability
6. Avoid impact of the blade with hard objects, as this may cause damage to the blades teeth
7. Do not force the trimmer, this will cause an uneven cut and the blades may jam. For the best finish, guide
the trimmer through the coat
SAFETY CAUTION:
1. Use this appliance only for its intended purpose
2. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by or near children
3. Use only with accessories included in package
4. Avoid contact with the eye area and damaged or sensitive skin area
5. Except when charging, always unplug from the electrical outlet after use
6. Keep away from water or any detergent
SHOULD THE FOLLOWING SITUATIONS OCCUR, UNPLUG AND SWITCH OFF IMMEDIATELY, AND
SEND THE TRIMMER FOR EXAMINATION OR REPAIR:
1. The blade, main unit, or power cord adapter is damaged
2. The trimmer or the adapter is dropped into water
3. The trimmer is switched off, but the charging indicator does not light up when plugged into the power source
4. The clipper and accessories must be checked regularly for damage. If damage is detected, do not put the
device into operation
